We would 100% recommend Well of Life Luxury rooms, they are very well looked after and would definitely stay here again if we ever revisit Split - this was our first visit to Croatia, the whole area and scenery is stunning and it certainly won't be our last visit. Thank you for having us and making our first visit to Croatia a very positive one 😊
Georgette (10/5): - Very nice rooms but up 2 flights of stairs so would be a problem if accessibility is needed. Very close to a grocery store and lots of restaurants and the old town and marina are a short walk away. Parking is a block away in a city lot so it may take several minutes of circling to find a spot - 10 euros a day with the parking card provided.
Koji (10/5): Beautiful room, easy parking, with balcony. - hotel located close walking distance from the paid parking area, which was not that expensive. With the balcony, but not much of the view. But room was nice and roomy. Close enough to walk to all the places in Central Square. Again with the stairs, but it was short easy one flight.

Barry (10/5): Very Well is Very Good - Well located modern apartment. Very quite even though right on the edge of the action. Public car park at end of the street. Supermarket across the street and several bakery’s nearby Old town very short stroll
Steve (3/5): Disappointed and wouldn't return. - We liked the key card security, shower (although the second user had to be aware of slipping) the closeness to Split centre. It is about ten minutes from the main bus station, ten minutes from the port, in close proximity to the local restaurants and the main parade. It is five minutes from the old town (Roman) and almost within the medieval area. Plenty of shops nearby. We arrive on a ferry from Dubrovnik and caught a taxi, the driver attempting to charge us €215 for a ten minute ride and he took the long route, we gave him €20 which we found was an overpayment. We could have easily walked from the ferry in fifteen minutes (with cases). It is close to tour meeting places, usually about five to ten minutes. The bed is comfortable. We only use one pillow, you would need to ask if you need more. The ground is level and it was easy to walk our case to the bus station. It cost €2 each to the airport which is 45mins away. You get to see more of Split too! Sandra was helpful in giving us some tips on tours and restaurants and provision of a taxi to the airport €35. Shuttle €8. The picture of a luxury room on the internet advert seemed okay initially. We booked a 'Superior Double Room with Balcony. We were initially disappointed about the size of the main room and the bathroom. There is about 230mm one side of the bed due to the wall and curtains and 400mm on the other. I had to walk sideways to exit the bed area. There is an extreme art design on one side of the bed which was scratchy on the skin. It looked like a blood bath (my opinion). There was one chair in the room and clearly not much room for another. There is a poorly made, what I would describe as an Ikea wardrobe in the living area. The bathroom was extremely small. We struggled to both fit in there, awkward spacing for getting out of the shower, using the basin and toilet. The door got in the way and it would push the shower mat up to the shower tray causing less room. The balcony was tiny and faced a block of flats which were in a poor condition. I stepped on a door retaining pin on the bottom of the frame. It was clumsy to get to the two seats on the balcony. It hadn't been cleaned prior to our arrival. The fridge was noisy and wasn't really cold for milk which went off in three days. The water heater in the bathroom was noisy and extremely hot. If we left the bathroom door open we felt it affected the cooling of the air con. We were asked if we would like the cleaner during our stay and we chose to for the third day. Fresh towels were provided but no cleaning carried out. We had paid £558 for the room for four nights more than we had paid for an amazing accommodation in Dubrovnik with fantastic views and close to the old town. It's not carpeted, no clothes rack. We were charged in Euros so there was an additional charge of £16 on top. A poor show. This is the smallest room we have ever stayed in and definitely not luxury.

paula (10/5): - The location was fantastic! Only a couple of minutes walk into the beginning of Old Town Split. There are restaurants everywhere within a few minutes of walking. Parking is available on the street and/or next door for a parking fee. The room was very clean and modern with a nice street view. There is a small grocery store across the street as well. The host was very friendly and helpful. We would certainly stay here again. I will note that the street is quiet for sleeping except for one weekend night where the talking from a local cafe/bar in Old Towne carried on late into the night along with foot and car traffic down our street.

The bed was comfortable there was plenty of hot water and tea and coffee was provided. (not English Breakfast tea) . The agents left us a bottle of wine and two bottles of water also some sweets, which was very nice. Good TV and you could watch Netflix etc. The room didn't have a full length mirror so I watshaped Sandra who had one waiting outside of our room the very same day. The room I was in I felt was a little on the small size. That is the only critique I have.

Before arrival, Sandra went out of her way to make sure we had all the information we needed. On arrival, she was there to greet us and give some great advice on travel, local area and any questions we had. A perfect host. The apartment itself is in an amazing location. The heart of the city is on your doorstep, but in a quiet spot. We had a great night's sleep all week. The place was spotless, great facilities, and aircon perfect after a hot day out. Kettle, fridge, water, and other facilities gave it that "home from home" feeling. There's even a small supermarket opposite for all the essentials (milk, fresh bread, cheese, wine, etc) I'd highly recommend this place and will definitely be back. Thank you, Sandra :) Having to leave :(

We got lots of recommendations for restaurants, trips and beaches and she even helped us out with a last minute taxi towards the airport. The location is absolutely prestige, you have a supermarket and bakery not even 2 min away from the building and within 5-10 minutes you are in the city centre of Split. Also the busses for most trips and in general are just around the corner. All in all we had a wonderful experience and we hope to comeback in the future.

Area has a very “local” feel with prices for food and drink in the area being much cheaper than in the old town. Facilities were lovely with plenty of room for our stay. Communication with Sandra was excellent, she was there to meet us and very helpful with advice and tips and a complimentary bottle of wine. Would stay again in this lovely apartment.

Walking distance to Diocletian’s Palace, Riva and nearby restaurants and attractions. Parking is a block away and €10/day with a parking card provided by the host. We went to 4 out of more than 2 dozens restaurants/patisseries Sandra recommended and they were all really good especially the Oš Kolač Artisan Cakes and Pastries. Sandra’s cleaning lady found my wife’s jewelry that she had left in the room. She arranged to meet us at the Split ferry terminal when we came back from Hvar to deliver the package. An outstanding effort by a host. None.

Emiko (10/5): Excellent stay! - The Double Deluxe Room with Balcony was an amazing find for our 4 night stay in Split! The location was ideal- walking distance to everything but just far enough from the center that you don’t feel crowded. There is a grocery store across the street and dozens of delicious restaurants within a few minutes walk. The room was immaculately clean and spacious. and the little balcony was perfect for morning coffee or evening (and afternoon!) wine. The little fridge was nice for leftovers and beverages and the wine glasses, wine opener and a coffee set up was a welcome treat! Even thought there were other apartments on our floor, we never had any issues with noise. The bed was super comfortable and I was thankful for the large bathroom with all its counter space. The balcony had a line dry setup which came in really handy as we were still awaiting our luggage so that was a huge plus for us! Sandra the apartment manager was incredibly kind and helpful and went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed. Her love for her city and her love of people was so genuine and she really made our stay extra wonderful with her restaurant recommendations and insights into local attractions. Could not have been happier with the experience!

There was minifridge with complimentary water and wine. Breakfast wasn’t in the same building as we already knew, but it was in neaby restaurant and the breakfast was very good. The breakfast started at 9AM, not 8AM as the restaurant informed, but it might be because we were there during offseason. There is no elevator in the accommondation building, but the rooms were in second floor so not so many stairs to climb with luggage.
Leigh (10/5): Amazing location, fairly priced and great staff - Amazing location, helpful & friendly host, and clean. The host went the extra mile for my partner’s birthday which was a lovely touch and had lost of recommendations. They accommodated our later check out and helped with our luggage when they had to eventually check us out - thank you so much. By no fault of the hotel or host, we were woken up very early by neighbours one morning but that was down to them being inconsiderate and no other reason.

The host was very kind and arranged the pick up service for us from the airport and gave us such helpful advices. The location is great, just couple of minutes walking distance from the center and the port, in quiet and safe area. I enjoyed a lot and definetely will come again. Highly recommended! NA
Daniela (10/5): Exceptional - Room was really clean, modern and very spacious. Excellent location. Room was located very close to the centre of town in a very quiet area with nearby parking. Also, there was a big supermarket just opposite my room which was very convenient. Staff was very kind and helpful and recommended nice restaurants. Definitely recommend staying at this place and next year I am coming back!
Matthew (8/5): great experience all around - walking distance to everything that we wanted to do, private, comfortable, and great breakfast. Ana was great to work with. very minor things, the light in the main hall way took a bit of getting used to and the hot water heater ran out quicker than we hoped for.
Jennifer (5/5): Air bnb, not a hotel - The room is a 5min walk to the centre of Split. Nice big bed. Despite booking a ‘family room’ in a ‘family friendly hotel’ for two adults and an infant they do not provide a cot. When I asked where they were expecting my son to sleep they simply didn’t reply to my email. We were initially offered a very expensive airport transfer from the manager and ability to leave our bags before the room was ready but when we declined the transfer we were then told we couldn’t leave our bags. Seemed very immature. Breakfast is a five minute walk away at a local restaurant, and whilst this was nice it was hard to make use of if you had planned day trips as the earliest they accommodate you is 8am and do not do take away boxes.

Hans Henrik (10/5): Mere end man håber på. - Værelse nr. 104 ligger med udsigt til baggården i rolig omgivelse fra balkonen. Herligheden er en spytklat fra supermarked og lige i udkanten af hele labyrinten ned til havnen. Værtinden holdt løbende kontakt med os og gav anbefalinger på restauranter og strande. Alt i alt et rigtig dejligt ophold.

Bed was huge and very comfortable. Would definitely stay again. It was a little difficult to find and no sign to indicate well of life apartment when we arrived.

Gabriel (6/5): Sådär - Fint rum med bra läge. Kommunikationen med hotellvärden och planering av flygtransfer var bra och smidig. Städningen var dessvärre inget vidare. Städningen sker inte (som det står i bokningen) varje dag, enligt värden fyller de bara på med handdukar/toapapper och byter lakan om de ser att det är skitigt. Vårt rum blev smutsigt och vi fick ingen städning på 3 dagar, så handdukar och toapapper tog slut. Hade högre förväntningar.
