- Sinead (9/5): Lovely stay on the hill. Quiet with lovely views - Quiet location. Good kitchen access and nice pool and good parking. Lovely view of Coimbra from our balcony. We are fit and have stayed in many hilly towns just a warning the hill is significant when walking up from the town.

- Hellmut (9/5): Sehr schönes Apartment, 20 Minuten von Innenstadt entfernt - Schönes, großzügiges Apartment, mit vollständiger Küche, einem Bad im Schlafzimmer. Sehr ruhige Lage. Coimbra Ist sehr hügelig und das Apartment liegt auf dem gegenüberliegenden Hügel der Altstadt. Zu Fuß in die Altstadt braucht man etwa 20 Minuten, zur Uni auf dem Berg eine halbe Stunde.

- luciana (8/5): Ótimo local! - Eu gostei principalmente da atenção da Ana em passar todas as informações sobre o local com antecedência! Tudo muito limpo e bem cuidado! E muito bonito! E ter garagem para Estacionar porque realmente é difícil achar vaga próxima e em Coimbra toda! O colchão da cama muito duro e poderia ter mais travesseiros. Quanto a cama é algo pessoal, mas poderia ter pillow top que já resolveria o problema.

- Dieter (9/5): Sehr gut und angenehm - Das Zimmer hat Zugang zu einer Gemeinschaftsküche und einer Kaffeeecke, einen eigenen Balkon und Zugang zu einem Außenbereich mit Pool und Liegen. Die Gastgeberin ist äußerst hilfsbereit, als der an sich versprochene Toaster nicht da war, wurde in Windeseile einer besorgt. Das Appartement liegt außerhalb des Zentrums in einer ruhigen Nebenstraße, allerdings mit einer Baustelle in der Nachbarschaft. Ruhig heißt aber auch, dass Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten ein gutes Stück entfernt liegen. Auch die Altstadt und das Universitätsviertel sind auf dem anderen Hügel, was etliche Höhenmeter hinauf und hinab bedeutet.

- Igor (4/5): Appartement heeft veel meer poten als er wat meer luxe en sfeer in gebracht wordt - Ruimte Geen airco, kwaliteit vd bedden, slechte/oude ventilatoren (veel herrie), vieze vaatwasser ( volle filter, papier erin en voedsel resten), oude handdoeken, schimmelvorming in badkamer bij de luiken, schimmel in wasmachine zeepbakje. Sfeerloos appartement qua inrichting. Begrijp niet dat er niet een klein startpakket koffie logt als je geen standaard koffiezet apparaat hebt staan maar enkel speciale cups.

- Tom (10/5): - Zeer ruime kamer met een grote badkamer. Koffie- en theefaciliteiten op de verdieping en een volledig uitgeruste keuken op het gelijkvloers. Het zwembad en het loungegedeelte waren zeer goed onderhouden en er waren badhanddoeken ter beschikking. Privéparking in afgesloten garage. Ana bezorgde ons vooraf per WhatsApp alle nodige informatie voor een aangenaam verblijf. De ligging buiten het centrum is rustig, maar aangezien in Coimbra niets vlak is is wandelen naar het centrum vrij inspannend.
- Homerson (9/5): Nice Rooms, Near Restaurants - I like the proactiveness of the staff for check in. The room was good enough for one person. Nicely designed, so quite a relaxing place to go back to after a day. Availability of parking space is also a big plus. I didn't get to use the pool, but it looked nice. It was also a nice walk to some restaurants at the bottom of the hill. I was using my laptop, a table to use as a table would have been nice.

L'hôtel est situé dans une zone résidentielle (pas de commerce à proximité). Nous nous attendions à avoir un appartement mais nous avons eu une petite chambre. L'accès à la buanderie et à la cuisine est partagé avec les autres résidents.

- Nicole (9/5): Empfehlenswerte Unterkunft für einen Städtetrip - Unkomplizierter Check-In. Die Unterkunft hatte eine Garage sowie einen Pool. Wir hatten das Zimmer mit einem Balkon und Aussicht zum Pool. Es besteht die Möglichkeit einen Kühlschrank zu benutzen, sich einen Kaffee oder Tee zu zubereiten. Obst und Kekse standen zu Verfügung. Zimmer war nicht allzu groß. Kein Schrank, aber die Möglichkeit Kleider aufzuhängen und abzulegen.

- Daniel (6/5): Beware, this is not an easy stay. - The apartment was big and the pool area is really nice. We were glad to have it. It was a good place to cool down after the walk. I hate to leave less than great reviews but this place needs to come with a warning. It is very far from city center at the conclusion of your day or evening. It says 800 meters or 1.2Km from the place to where everything is happening but it is 1.2km straight uphill on the way home. I mean it is a nightmare really. There is also nothing around there. One decent lunch/breakfast place but other than that you are descending to the bottom and climbing to the top if you want a good meal or if you want to see something. Also the beds were not nearly as comfortable as they look in the photos and there is NO A/C. Fine for probably 80% of the year but considering the location its probably necessary for guests.
- Francesco (9/5): - Ho soggiornato a Casa dos Carvalhos e ne sono rimasto davvero colpito. La struttura è immersa in una zona tranquilla, ma comodissima per raggiungere il centro di Coimbra a piedi. Tuttavia, è giusto segnalare che la casa si trova in cima al paese: il ritorno dal centro città a piedi può essere piuttosto faticoso. Noi abbiamo preso Uber due volte per evitare la salita, quindi consiglio di tenerne conto se non si è amanti delle camminate in salita. L’atmosfera è rilassata e curata nei dettagli, con un tocco autentico che rende il soggiorno speciale. La camera era pulitissima, ben arredata e molto confortevole. Ho apprezzato tantissimo la vista sulla piscina e la quiete che si respira. Ana è stata gentile e disponibile. Un dettaglio che ho trovato davvero piacevole è la cura degli spazi comuni: ordinati, luminosi e perfetti per rilassarsi dopo una giornata di visite. Anche il rapporto qualità-prezzo è eccellente. Consiglio vivamente Casa dos Carvalhos a chi cerca un soggiorno autentico, tranquillo e ben posizionato a Coimbra. Ci tornerei volentieri!

- philippe (10/5): Très bien situé et très beau studio confort pour un séjour très agréable à Coimbra - Le studio était très bien équipé, équipements cuisine, vaisselles et ustensiles. Grand espace. La chambre spacieuse et lit confortable. L’extérieur très bien agencé autour de la piscine , le garage et l’espace commun ( détente et lave linge ). Sincèrement rien !

Staff mai visto ma sempre disponibile via whatsapp. Una delle due camere prenotate (Torre) era veramente piccola, invece la Sereia bellissima. Struttura scomoda da raggiungere, anche se vicina al centro, molto in salita (consiglio Uber, che in Portogallo ha prezzi veramente convenienti).

- Ruud (8/5): - Super ruim appartement met een heel fijn zwembad. Ruime woon en slaapkamers en 2 mooie badkamers. Wasmachine aanwezig wat ook heel fijn was. De ligging was wat anders dan verwacht. Door het hoogteverschil was lopen naar de stad voor ons geen optie. We konden geen bakker of supermarkt in de buurt vinden.
