You had to go through out the front footpath to bring ya stuff into your room. No communication with the staff for the price we paid it wasnt worth it

There are major upgrades happening at the property and I’m sure it’ll be amazing when it’s completed. No complaints as we understand how hard it is to have everything “perfect” when renovations are taking place.

- steve (1/5): we didn't stay it was absolute shite - The place was disgusting, dirty, nothing like the photos, dirty pillows, interior door to hallway kicked in, sink cupboard falling apart due to water damage, doors hanging off, No towels or toiletries just a complete shambles and couldn't stay there, asked for refund and told NO this is the most disappointing place we have ever stayed in and we have travelled Australia ........ my thoughts are 0 out 100 and never again EVERYTHING

- Tristan (5/5): - I loved the very old building and 'old school' vibes, staff was very helpful (via phone call) and on request, otherwise it was very vacant The building clearly needs a few renovations, roof looks like it's struggling to hold up, very little space in the rooms, and very little utensils or space for preparing food within the room, (for example; microwave but no bench or table space for plating, kettle literally no space to set it up [or coffee mugs to use]) room we paid for was displayed to be bigger than what we received but we made do with what was available

- Rhiannon (5/5): - Port Pirie Accomodation and Apartments was okay for the few nights I stayed while in Port Pirie for study purposes, however I won’t be choosing to stay the next time I am back. No staff on site, so I was provided with codes and had to check in/out yourself. The locks to the room doors barely worked and my key became stuck on multiple occasions. The “apartments” are much more of a small room and nothing like apartments at all. Beds were hard and uncomfortable. Bathroom set up means that water goes all over the bathroom floor during showering. Absolutely no privacy / sound proofing due to pretty big gaps under the doors. Aircon smelled moudly/musty. Was okay for me at the time but won’t be back!

- Ana Mary (4/5): Good location, but poor room conditions and no staff support made the stay disappointing. - During our stay at the hotel, we experienced several issues that were very disappointing. The air conditioning in our room was not working,they provided us with a fan, but due to the extreme heat, the fan was not enough and the room remained very uncomfortable. We called and sent messages requesting for the air conditioning to be fixed; however, no one answered or responded to our concerns. There was also no staff available around to assist us. In addition, I specifically booked a queen room, but we were not provided with the room type we booked. Although it was just me and my husband staying, we still expected to receive the room we paid for—especially with a working air conditioner. Because of these ongoing issues and the lack of support, we were forced to leave after 2 nights instead of completing the 3 nights we had booked. Overall, the broken air conditioning, incorrect room allocation, lack of response, and absence of staff made our stay very unpleasant. The property is in a nice location, only a minute’s drive to shopping centers and coffee shops, but the room itself was disappointing and there was no staff around to assist us.

- MARILOU CUADERNO (5/5): Very bad service!No assistance at all! - Nothing i like in this accomodation. The entrance of the accommodation is closed when we arrived and it was 45 heat, instruction on the wall is confusing hard to find the way to the rooms no staff to help us We have to call the property for asisstance. told us to just walk outside the road he said no need for the taxi to drop us on the other side of the road he didnt take into consideration that it was 45 degrees temp and we are seniors and we have baggages with us and he wants us to walk under the sun to find our room very bad service. Its good the taxi driver has more concern and he insist that we go inside his taxi again and he will drop us exactly on the gate coz it was so hot and he feel pity that we will walk under that scorching heat carrying our heavy bags. the entrance of our room is full of dried leaves like a hunted house and the fan is too dusty.not cleaned at all. This accommodation is far from malls or stores to buy food. You have to get a taxi. No staff in that accomm. to assist us. We have to call the staff over the phone for assistance. We stayed for 3 days there and theres no spare toilet tissue at all. We bought our own spare toilet tissue.I will not stay in this accommodation again and i wont recommend this accommodation in Port pirie at all.

- Guest (1/5): Threatened, abused, more money demanded due to booking.com mistake? - Not much Abused and threatened by owner who demanded more money, despite me having paid through booking.com prior to arrival. After arricing and settling in, i Was handed a phone by staff and was met with a barrage of reasons why I had to pay more, by the agressive and rude owner, who claimed booking.com had made an error with the price. I was told I'd have to leave if I did not comply, quote "I'll send someone down to remove you". Booking.com support weren't much help and only told me I'd have to pay an extra $45 though they did condemn the owners behaviour. Regardless, I had paid and should not have had to deal with this. It was extremely stressful and distressing. This owner was agressive from the start without me uttering a word and screamed down the phone at me telling me "you do t give a xxxx do ya?!" , before I'd even said a word. Police were called due to threats but couldn't act as it is a civil matter. Ended up paying an extra $35 as I just wanted to have a night's rest. Owner claimed booking.com were responsible for the price discrepancy. They never took blame nor arranged any alternative action. I am still waiting on a full refund. I will never use booking.com ever again.

There’s toaster and microwave and fridge in our room which was excellent. The staff were super helpful and friendly, Getting in was a bit of a challenge, no information had come through regarding room # or how to get in. Knocked on outside room and they let us in to find the cleaners, who were extremely helpful and apologized - there was an internet problem.

We didn't have any details sent to us beforehand about what to do. Luckily, we found a staff member in the washing room who found us a room and let us in. The room was mostly ok, but there were heaps of ants crawling everywhere inside, and it was a constant battle to squish them every time they appeared on our arms.

The room was really hot but the air-conditioning did not work. It was too hot to sleep in and we couldn't open the doors because bugs would come in and there was no fly screen. We tried calling their phone but no one answered or even contacted us back. They wouldn't provide a refund. I would not recommend staying here.

- Philip (1/5): Be Careful! - Did not get the chance to stay Booked and paid with confirmation of booking 6 weeks in advance. At 12.30 pm on day of supposed check in property management called to tell me accommodation no longer available. Reason given that booking.com had double booked so I was shafted??? Refund for booking was to be returned through booking.com. HA! 6 days later no refund or recognition of the cancellation from booking.com!!!!!!! DO NOT use this accommodation unless you can only pay on arrival as it may be a cause you grief and inconvenience as it has done us.
- Phillip (3/5): Not Prepared for Our Coming. - Handy to shops restairants. We booked 2 units. They were not ready. One not cleaned. Directed to two other sub-standard units in a different location. Complained. Eventually directed to one unit with 5 beds. Cramped kitchen with inadequate crockery and cutlery. No tea towels. Microwave broke down. Bathroom drain became blocked and leaked water through floor. No windows, only artificial light. One tiny bedroom was like a closet. No clothes pegs or line.
- Bernie (7/5): - Once we got in it was good. Trouble getting in, no one at reception, no phone connection. A lovely cleaner got us sorted, thank goodness. Never did get a pin for the outside door . Contact with foreign phone numbers not always the best.

- Corey (6/5): - Accommidation waz fine After booking the accommidation they contacted me and said the pricing was wrong and couldnt honour the price I had already paid on booking.com. By this time it was late and we had no where else to stay so had no choice but to pay double the original price on top of what I had alread paid. They said Booking.com hold that money and would reinberse me the next day. Now almost a week later I am still chasing the refund for the original payment not happy!

- Margot (7/5): Comfortable, clean, tidy. Quite adequate for an overnight stay. - Thankful for a clean and tidy room with ensuite That it was on the ground floor Location was adequate Secure off street parking The sliding ensuite door is dysfunctional, off it's 'easy glide' mechanism making it difficult to open/close & noisy. Shower could do with a curtain or door to stop water spilling out onto the bathroom floor, pooling around WC & heading toward the (broken) sliding door & carpet in bedroom. Our room has a window facing a main road.. it's noisy when busy with traffic & quite exposed with no curtain or tinting to enjoy privacy at the same time as the view or access to natural light.

- Rose (4/5): Would not be a return client and would not recommend - Off street parking. Reasonable bathroom Only double bed which was uncomfortable. Lack of power points. Small TV in poor position. Leaking kettle. Very noisy air con. No bedside tables and bed lamps

- Shirley (7/5): Quiet , good priced, good sized room. - Price was ok. Good sized room. Room serviced each day. Cutlery & crockery supplied. Microwave. Easy to find. Close to drive to shopping complex. No verbal communication with staff during stay. No hair dryer. No shower curtain so very wet bathroom. No laundry as advertised .
- THERESE (7/5): The staff were amazing - when we arrived we had booked a room upstairs- one of the staff upgraded us to a larger bottom - Everything you need for an overnight stay - also a shared kitchen if needed although the room had all the necessary equipment
