From the warm welcome by Pieter, to the room (super comfortable bed, spacious bathroom, and a private garden to relax), the pool/bar area, the breakfast lounge, and of course the breakfast itself! I’ve never seen such a wide variety of products, all fresh and delicious, not even in hotels. The kindness and friendliness made us feel right at home. Without a doubt, it’s a place to return to—we’ll be back as soon as we can. 100% recommended.
• Margot (10/5): Wij hebben heerlijk genoten. - Het ontbijt was geweldig met door Pieter heerlijk zelfgemaakte baksels, smeersels en andere lekkernijen. Tot in de puntjes verzorgd. Ook leuke gesprekken gevoerd aan de ontbijttafel inclusief handige tips. ( zonder opdringerig gevoel ). De omgeving is mooi en met de ( huur) auto kun je de leuke plaatsjes in de omgeving bezoeken of de Caminito del Rey wandelen. Uiteraard kun je het prachtige Malaga ontdekken. De sfeer was heerlijk relaxed. Wij hebben het niet gemist maar er was geen tv op de kamer.

• Annemiek (10/5): Een paradijsje op een half uurtje van Malaga. - Alles was boven verwachting. De poort ging open naar een prachtige verbouwde boerderij. Het appartement was schoon, mooi ingericht, prachtige badkamer en een goede airco. Bedden uitstekend. Zwembad schoon, goede ligbedden. Je werd zelfs voorzien van een strandlaken voor bij het zwembad. Tuin vol met kleurige bloemen en bomen. De gastheer gaf veel uitleg over goede restaurants en bezienswaardigheden in de omgeving. Het ontbijt was uitstekend. Vers gebakken brood, vleeswaren, vers fruit, een gezonde smoothie en op verzoek werd er een uitsmijter voor je gemaakt. Koffie, thee en heerlijke cake. Wij komen zeker snel terug. Een paradijsje waar rust, relax en vriendelijkheid voor alles gaat. Niets.

Een warm ontvangst en een zeer ruime en nette kamer. Iedere ochtend staat er echt een overheerlijk ontbijt voor je klaar; kortom iedere dag is een feestje om deze zo te starten! Nog een pluspunt; de ligging is top. Centrale plek, waarbij veel leuke plaatsen op ongeveer een halfuurtje rijden liggen! /

Only 5 rooms so max 10 people. Super clean swimming pool and sun lounge area with day beds too. Honesty bar with reasonable priced drinks and crips/olives. Bedroom (Limon) was adequate size, very clean with quality fittings, towels and bedding. Owners have backgrounds in hospitality so you get the best possible and discreet service. The breakfast is fantastic in every possible way - Highly recommend. Thank you Nothing to add really as this is a B and B for couples so would love to be a able to have dinner there or stay and extra few hours after we check out - that's not their model so can't complain - we loved everything - thank you

• Noelia (10/5): Un oasis de bienvivir - Casa Luz del Sur es un verdadero oasis de bienvivir: comodidad en todas sus estancias, gusto en la decoración, confort en el diseño de la experiencia de cliente, instalaciones con todo detalle... y dos anfitriones que realmente lo son y te hacen sentir en casa, más allá de proporcionarte un alojamiento. El desayuno es inenarrable: toda una mesa de cocina llena de viandas deliciosas, cocinadas en casa y con infinidad de opciones dulces, saladas, frías, calientes... Mi habitación era "Limón" y contaba con un pequeño porche de acceso en el que podías sentir que te encontrabas en casa. Gracias por un fin de semana de lo más inspirador, Pieter y Margot. No hay nada que no me gustase, pero, como nota de interés para quien lleve un coche bajo, apuntaré que el alojamiento está en un lugar muy tranquilo, cerca del pueblo y al mismo tiempo lo suficientemente lejos como para disfrutar el silencio y la paz, lo que implica el acceso por un camino en el que hay algunos baches. Nada que enturbie la experiencia pero sí hay que tenerlo en cuenta para conducir con precaución.

• Annie (10/5): Wat een schitterende locatie en verblijf - De gastvrijheid, de accomodatie in zijn geheel, het uitgebreide ontbijt, de sfeer, het appartement, het zwembad, de zorgzaamheid, de persoonlijke aandacht. Ik ben zeker nog wat vergeten. Het was in een woord TOP en onvergetelijk. Het ontbijt dat wij iedere ochtend voorgeschoteld kregen, bestond uit een assortiment dat ik op mijn vele reizen nog nooit had meegemaakt. Als ik er nog aan denk, loopt het water uit mijn mond. Niets, behalve dat ik niet voor een langere periode gereserveerd had.

The highlight for us was the most beautiful breakfast every morning. We have stayed all over the world and can’t think of a better breakfast than Pieter provides here. Everything is made with love and care. You can tell that Pieter and Margot love what they do and what a fantastic team they are! We will definitely be returning to the Casa and have already told our friends about the most gorgeous gem of a place. Nothing! The place is just perfect.

The rooms are provided with added extras such as coffee and tea, and also pool towels. The location of the property was very convenient, just a short drive or walk to the local town. Pieter kindly shared lots of suggestions for dining out - delicious! An added bonus is the honesty bar, allowing guests to take a snack or drink of their choice for a small fee. Everything is organised so well, with all the fine details included. We loved our stay and look forward to coming back! N/a

Pieter was immediately helping us around and giving us tips on the visits and restaurants in Malaga. This B&B is one of the best in its kind with very pleasant and social host(s). Breakfast was fully home made and the ambiance is really cosy and warm. A refaire! We didn't had luck with the weather but that was not up to the B&B. They really did all their best to create a nice stay despite the bad and rainy weather. All in all not possible to give a negative remard.

The location, owner, facilities and breakfast is all super b! We already look forward to come back soon! Each flat is really huge and has it‘s own terrace. The breakfast is self-made, fresh, healthy and you have everything you need. Pieter also prepared some gluten-free options for me which i really appreciated! There is enough space at the pool area and each unit has it‘s own pool towels. Also an own parking spot is dedicated per unit. Overall we were extremly happy to find this place. Nothing at all to complain, really everything is perfect!

Nice, spacious and very clean rooms, very nice garden and pool. Pieter prepares excellent and varied breakfasts, perhaps the best we have ever had in a B&B. Pieter and Margot are very kind owners. We definitely recommend the accommodation. It is necessary to predict almost exactly the time of arrival, which does not suit me on the holiday. But we agreed to call two hours earlier, so there was no problem, Pieter welcomed us.

A breakfast with lots of homemade delicacies. Casa Luz del Sur should be named "The leading B&B accommodation of the world" as this would be worthy of what we encountered here. The rooms are high quality and very tastefully decorated as well as extremely clean. • Katie (10/5): Exquisite - Pieter and Margot are the perfect hosts. Casa Luz del Sur was a wonderful end to our tour of Malaga and Cordoba province. The rooms are private, comfortable and spacious. The pool area is luxurious, with an honesty bar that reflects Pieter's twenty-six years as a bar owner in Holland. The breakfast is a plethora of locally sourced goodness, and raw ingredients are skilfully reappropriated daily to make it a zero waste kitchen. Everything at Casa Luz del Sur from the design, the interiors, the wines, the food, the recommendations are considered and exquisite. Alhaurin el Grande is a classic Spanish town with both a new and old part of town; it has a great range of restaurants and is not overly touristy. Treze was particularly exciting Spanish/contemporary tapas and sushi, and Casa la Abuela was great for classic Spanish Atun Rojo and Morcilla. The Mountains and landscape are sublime and it is a great base to explore Malaga. We really enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning.
