All the staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, always ready to help with a smile. The food was also surprisingly delicious—we really enjoyed our meals here. The property itself is beautiful, with a lovely garden that creates a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. It’s also very close to the beach, making it ideal for a holiday getaway. The room was clean, tidy, and comfortable, exactly what we needed for a relaxing stay. This place is perfect for anyone looking for a cozy and enjoyable vacation in Gili T. Highly recommended!
• Thomas (9/5): Great beach-side resort close to some beautiful islands - The location is in area where tourism hasn't really taken off. The food here is great which is good because there aren't that many other options in the area. The garden is nice and well-kept with a nice chill area and a restaurant from which you can see the ocean. We stayed in a cabin which was really nice. It did get quite hot at the porch but that's Indonesia I guess. The airco worked well and kept the room nice and cool. DiveHeaven took us to the islands for multiple diving days, which was an excellent experience for us. Overall, we had a really nice stay! We were a little underwhelmed about the cleanliness in the room and bedsheets, but when we commented about that, the staff immediately changed our sheets and apologized. This didn't affect the quality of our stay. The shower head could be improved. But really, there's really not much to complain about this great place.
• Patrizia (9/5): Erholsame Ruhetage in einer wunderschönen Gegend mit freundlichen Menschen! - Die Anlage liegt wunderschön am Meer, ein riesengroßer Garten, sehr gepflegt und die Ruhe sind ein Highlight! Heri oder Hari ist ein toller Gastgeber und das ganze Team ist super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Es gibt zwar keine Liegen und Sonnenschirme im großen Garten, aber meistens ist man ja unterwegs. Gläser im Zimmer und ein Zahnbecher im Badezimmer haben gefehlt! Auf der Toilette, die zum Restaurant gehört kein Handtuch zum Hände abtrocknen!

• Rema (10/5): Authentic, safe and extremely peaceful and great snorkeling, simple cheap nice food including free breakfast - It was a fabulous location for snorkeling including safe walk in off the beach with the higher tides. Heri organised reasonably priced day trips by boat to small islands. Visibility for snorkeling exceptional especially at the islands even at the edge of the wet season and the diversity of fish delightful. Air con, hot shower and big airy rooms and attached open ensuite. Call to prayer, sound of the small beach waves and the ghecko’s add to the tranquility. We liked the small friendly village but if you like to party or like many western style restaurants or shops then this is not the place for you.

• Liliane (6/5): Im Osten von Lombok gute Unterkunft mit Restaurant. - Die Lage am Meer. Der sehr freundliche und zuvorkommende Inhaber Heri. Beste Unterkunft um bei DiveHeaven zu tauchen. Sie holen dich im Hotel ab. Im Restaurant dauerte es viel zu lange, bis die Mahlzeiten serviert wurden. Das grosse Bett im Familienzimmer ist 3x zusammengekracht. Nächstes Mal unbedingt ein Bungalow mieten, gleicher Preis.

As a solo traveller, I found it easy to make friends (I was lucky to arrive at the same time as other solo travellers!). The staff were absolutely wonderful — they went out of their way to make sure I had a good time. The place is quiet and peaceful, exactly what I needed for a recharge. I ended up extending my stay for another 7 nights because I just couldn’t leave ☺️

La plage est très propre .le snorkelling est parfait nous avons vu de beaux coraux et de magnifiques poissons et une tortue. Nous avons loué un scooter la location semble chère mais le scooter est puissant et surtout récent .. Concernant la cuisine il manque un peu de diversité des plats ,notamment des poissons et crustacés en bordure de mer .. Il manque sur la plage le nécessaire pour chiller.
• Christian (9/5): Abseits des Mainstream - Hervorragende Lage, das Personal ist äußerst zuvorkommend und hilft bei allen Problemen (Seesack und Reisetasche nähen lassen. Direkt vor der Anlage lässt sich wunderbar schnorcheln. Die Möglichkeit sich Trinkwasser ständig holen zu können, macht jede Menge Plastikflaschen überflüssig. Die Küche vor Ort ist schmackhaft und frisch zubereitet. Die Nutzung der Ruheplattformen konnte ich leider nicht genießen,vielleicht gibt es eine Möglichkeit die Unmengen an Ameisen fern zu halten.

Wir hatten ein tolles, gepflegtes Zimmer mit sehr gemütlichem Bett und viel Platz. Die Anlage ist sehr weitläufig und sehr schön bepflanzt und zudem noch sehr ruhig gelegen. Das Essen in der Unterkunft ist sehr gut.

• Marie José (8/5): - * Le personnel est très gentil et serviable, particulièrement le patron. * La plage privative est agréable et propice à la baignade. * La nourriture du restaurant est bonne, le petit déjeuner est copieux. * Très beau jardin fleuri et bien entretenu. * Le ménage n'a pas été fait durant notre séjour, avec le sable noir ramené de la plage, ce n'était plus très propre. * Le prix de l'excursion sur les îles Gili voisines est trop cher (450 000 Rp par personne) par rapport à ce qui est pratiqué ailleurs à Lombok.

Le personnel nous a aidé à organiser notre excursion privée pour les Gili secrètes on a également pu louer une GoPro pour l'aventure. En rentrant de l'excursion nous avons eu le droit à un petit concert guitare et chant du guide. Restaurant au top, le repas et le petit déjeuner étaient excellents. Salle de bain très propre et très jolie.

• joyce (7/5): Oost Lombok pure rust in basic verblijf - Rustig gelegen, Oost Lombok biedt nog niet veel accommodaties. Het is er dan ook erg rustig en er is weinig in de omgeving te doen. Heri en zijn team zijn fantastisch en verzorgen je goed. Het bed was erg zacht en kraakte enorm, het allemaal in wat verouderde staat. Wel heel schoon en gezien de prijs kwaliteit wel voldoende.

Bref, nous n’avons passé qu’une nuit/2 jours dans cet hôtel mais sommes tombés sous le charme !

Our room was really showing its age. The staff do their best, but this is a pretty old property. It will be even older by the time you read this review.

• Linda (10/5): Experience of local Lombok life! - Heri and his team made us feel very welcome from the start. They arranged an incredible snorkeling trip, unlike anything else we have seen in Indonesia (and for a good price!). We also really enjoyed the food in the restaurant. Good to be aware there isn’t much else to do apart from snorkeling and relaxing, unless you have means of transport.

• Megan (7/5): Decent stay for one night to do snorkeling trip. - Very rural, in an area with few other tourists. It is only worth coming to stay here if you do the day trip snorkeling on the boats. We got a boat to ourselves and did amazing snorkelling as well as seeing two tiny Islands. Worth doing as there a few other tourists around. The bathroom is half outdoor which is nice at first. However the mesh wasn't well maintained so there were a lot of huge ants and insects in the bathroom at night. Room looked clean but after walking around for a few minutes my feet were very dirty. Also no hand soap. Food onsite is okay but not great. We both left this stay with upset stomachs. We didn't feel it was good value, it is a little overpriced for what it is.

• Estel (10/5): Exceptional - The grounds are beautiful, right in front of a practically desert black sand beach, next to some Gili Islands (Gili Kondo) that are amazing for snorkelling. But what made this stay so great was the staff. Really had the best time with them while they were playing music, singing and offering me drinks. Special mention to Deny who was so friendly and helpful :) Just be aware that this is a very quiet place and there’s not much to do outside of snorkeling and relaxing.
• Stephane (9/5): Superb - We found the room very comfortable and well equipped (loved having a kettle so that we could have a tea & coffee whenever we wanted). We also found the staff very helpful and enjoyed chatting to Hery and getting his advice and insights. We rented one of their good scooters and drove up to Sembalun (1.5 h drive for us) which is spectacular and suited us as we weren't hiking. And beyond comfort, the treasure of this place is being able to jump on a boat on the beach just outside the hotel, and visit the islands for incredible snorkeling (on one day we did gili Kondo, Petagan, Lampu and Kapal - islands (names according to Google maps) and on another day we visited Sulat and Lawang). These islands are all uninhabited and beautifully preserved with low tourist visits. Everything was good, only small suggestion is to reduce sweet & salty flavoring in the soups.

He could help booking moped, boat tour to Gile Kondo etc. The family-owned property was very clean and well-maintained with easy access to the beach (though not suitable for swimming during low tide). Excellent meals at reasonable price. Room was clean with good A/C and shower. Very comfortable. Highly recommended! Meal preparation takes time. Better to order in advance. Also, the outdoor dining hall has mosquitoes. You may ask for mosquitoes scent, if you're sensitive to mosquitoes.

• Richard (8/5): Nice room, nice owner, good local food BUT taken over by the local community in the morning - We arrived late and the staff were very helpful, and had kept the kitchen open for us. The room was big and clean and the place itself was nice and natural. The food was good - great ikan bakar, fantastic Lombok sambal. Didnt have kangkung so made do with some raw vegetables. Very simple but good Indonesian fair.The owner is very nice guy. The place in the morning was taken over by the local community. The restaurant was closed. The parking space was full and we had to move multiple motorbikes to get out. We booked with breakfast, and were told, kind of, that if we REALLY want it, breakfast can be brought to the room. We opted just to leave. The owner needs to decide if he wishes to be a hotel or a centre for the local community.

• Eszter (10/5): Beautiful haven in East Lombok - Super nice big garden, relaxed atmosphere, spacious new rooms and kind staff members. Everything was very nice and could even swim at the beach at high tide so it’s not that inconvenient that there is no pool (would be a perfect place though with a pool!) Also a big plus that you can see the sun rise perfectly from this place so that’s amazing!!! And special thanks for allowing to bring our small puppy! ❤️ Not big things but some suggestions for improvement! The room wasn’t cleaned during our 4-day stay, maybe because they wanted to give us privacy, however at least the trash could have been taken away daily. We also missed some handwash soap in the bathroom and very little shower soap was provided. The breakfast was a bit basic for the price of the deluxe room, would be nice to have a bigger portion. Plus we could have used some beach towels too! 😉

• Ari (9/5): Excellent place to stay. - Right on a beach with black volcanic sand and pebbles. The room was spacious and very clean. We had a fridge, good AC and a comfortable bed. The staff were helpful and friendly and the food was good and freshly prepared. The owner Heri was kind and organized trips to the nearby islands, waterfalls, and fishing off the pier for us. The sunrise was totally amazing. Well worth waking up early for. The WiFi in room was good for phones but not for the internet tv. No hand soap in the bathroom. My only regret is that I didn’t request a guide for the boat trip to the islands. It would have been great to have someone to help my young son and me get on and off the boat and to take some photos of us. Next time…

Mr. HARRY is the owner and he arranges everything easygoing. Very gentle. High experience in the island and around islands. Food so tasty. Juices delicious. It is like eating at home. Everything was perfect. I would like to scuba dive, but not operator in the area. Anyway the best snorkelling of my life.

• Peter (10/5): Great place to relax - Pondok Siola is such a great place - for us, it was the perfect place to relax for a couple of days whilst on a road trip around Lombok. The bungalow we had was really comfortable; there was a terrace in front with a couple of chairs and a sun lounger. There was a kettle and tea/coffee in the room for making hot drinks. We ate all our meals in the restaurant - everything was lovely (although it did take quite a while to come!). Breakfast is simple but enough - choice of eggs or pancake; fruit; fruit juice or hot drink. Wifi isn’t the best when you’re away from the restaurant area, and the mobile signal can be sketchy too. A couple of slight issues - the aircon unit in our room was faulty. It worked, but would switch itself off. Hopefully the owners were going to sort it out. Also, the PDQ machine wasn’t working, which meant we had to pay with cash or by bank transfer. Luckily, this wasn’t an issue for us but it could be if you’re not prepared when you stay.

Heri, the host, is really friendly, he worries about you and tries to organize activities/tours for you at honest prices. The excursion to secret gilis we did organized by him was one of the best of our lives. -

• Carlo (8/5): Peacefull and tidy - Erry is a beatifull and nice person. We really enjoyed our stay and the chat with him at the bar. Position is ideal to visit east gilis (kondo, bidara etc) and believe me they are amazing. Nothing, everything perfect. I suggest to visit this part of lombok as soon as possible. In some years a coal energy plant will open and I guess everything will be different
• T159 (10/5): Perfect location for boat tour to hidden Gili islands - Great hosts, very nice premises, spacious rooms with very nice and well maintained garden. Great location to go to nearby Gili islands via boat tour. Good food for breakfast and dinner. Perfect to relax in isolated location. Not really options for dinner around, need to stay at the hotel, but great food there anyways!

• Jeffrey (10/5): Excellent comfortable stay and very friendly host - A hidden gem away from the typical tourist locations. Property is set in beautiful well maintained gardens. The bungalow was new, clean, comfortable bed and pillows (which is hit and miss in Indonesia)! Efficient aircon and hot water which is always a delight. Harry was extremely friendly and helpful. Arranged a boat trip to Gili Kondo which included a lunch meal made at Siola (unexpected and delicious). Excellent snorkelling and in our view the best in Lombok. Peaceful and quiet especially compared to Gili Air and amazing coral and plenty of marine life. Food served and cooked by mum delicious and extremely well priced and plenty of choice for vegetarians. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely return if back in Lombok.. Nothing 10 out of 10 - we wish the family all the best.
• Maria (8/5): Good starting point for snorkeling trip - Beautiful garden, amazing snorkeling reachable by boat (extra charge), comfortable and well equipped room. Good restaurant. Beach is stony and not swimmable. The owner was not too friendly.

The beach is right next to the property, so it was very easy going for a swim or a nice stroll on the beach. They organised a snorkel trip for us at a very reasonable price. The ocean was clear and the reef was very healthy. I even saw a turtle! Overall I loved my stay, and would definitely stay again.

• Jackie (10/5): Lovely place to stay when visiting the eastern Gilies. I would come back just for the food. - The food was awesome. Best in Lombok. No pool and no swimming at the beach but the islands make up for it.
