- Gregory (9/5): Depending on your needs, this could be a good to excellent plance for you. - It was a pleasant, well organized guest room in a quiet residential neighbor. Everything was handled on-line, did not meet any staff. Additional directions were in the lobby and in the room (including local restaurants). A few restaurants and a produce market were in walking distance. Also in walking distance was a mini mall with a pharmacy and a nice restaurant we enjoyed. For my wife and I, everything was very good to excellent. The room had a bed and bathroom, small desk, small refrigerator. It was clean and modern looking, A filtered water machine was in the lobby. I believe there were packets for both coffee and tea. We are both senior citizens, so we were concerned about taking suitcases up the stairs to the second floor. But we did OK!

Es liegt zwar am Flughafen, aber dahinter und ein lange und teure Taxifahrt vom Eingang entfernt. Trotzdem, das Preis-Leistungs Verhältnis stimmt.

- Rachelle (8/5): This hotel is quiet, comfortable and it’s proximity to the airport is ideal. - This is the optimal location for its nearness to Ben Guirion airport. It was surprisingly quiet, comfortable and adequate for our needs. We used the suggested Apps that David provided for a 4AM taxi to catch an early flight, and for ordering dinner on Friday night —when restaurants in the area were closed. An in-room hotpot for tea would have been welcome.

- Jamie T (6/5): - The room was clean and reasonably comfortable. Unfortunately, it was up a narrow, winding staircase that there was no way I could carry my 35 pound suitcase. This was after lugging it up the six or so steps to the main entrance; at least those were wide and straight. The manager (or owner?) suggested leaving it downstairs in the “security room,” which did not strike me as secure. Since there was nothing in it besides my clothes, I decided to leave it there and nothing was touched or taken. I noticed that there were two unoccupied rooms on the main floor, and I sent a message, as there’s no staff on site, asking if I could switch to one of those. I was told both were reserved. The next morning, it was clear that no one had slept in either room. I was also under the impression that this property was much closer to the airport than it actually is. It cost me far more in taxi rides than I had anticipated, obliterating any savings I enjoyed on the reasonably-priced room. It’s called Airport Guest House, but it didn’t strike me as terribly guest-friendly or airport convenient.

- Ann (6/5): Adequate. - The (absentee) owner made an effort to make himself available by phone and WhatsApp - which was probably far more convenient for Israeli travelers than for American ones. The AC worked well. Appreciated the water and hot water dispenser in the lobby, as well as the refrigerator in the room. The owner kindly arranged a taxi to the airport - but did not mention that the driver would accept payment only in shekels-cash (no credit card or US dollars). The guest house was a bit farther than I expected from the airport, given the word "airport" in its name. It might be less expensive and less trouble to stay in Tel Aviv and take the train to the airport...unless one is traveling on Shabbat ... Transportation TO the airport was provided - but unlike in the US, I needed to pay for it -- in cash. This should have been mentioned in the English-language Bookings listing.

- Grace (10/5): Night before our flight. - Very friendly and helpful staff. David allowed me to store my suitcases at the guest house 3 hours before check-in time which was very helpful to us. Room was comforable and clean. Bathroom was a little small but very clean. Overall a great place to stay for one or two days.

- Jeffrey (10/5): Happy Traveler - David is a very helpful host. He sends advice on how to use the taxis at the airport to not get ripped off. He makes restaurant recommendations as well. He also said that he would arrange a ride to the airport for me but I had that taken care of already.I left an expensive hat in my room and he has taken good care of it and is in the process of shipping it back to me in the US. The room I was in was clean, comfortable and perfect for 1 person. I highly recommend. There was nothing I didn't like.

- Marek (9/5): Excellent family apartment close to the airport. - We needed an accomodation close to the airport as we arrived at midnight and with small kids we did not want to drive too long. And this accomodation fulfilled our expectations. It was big enough for us. We had two rooms equiped with air conditioning and a shower which worked perfectly. The apartment was clean. It was located in a good and safe area. It was easy to park our car. It is really close to the airport so inevitably you can hear the planes a bit. We were very tired so it did not bother us. I finally gave 9 points and not 10 because the fridge in the apartment was old and noisy. We did not need it so we switched it off in order to sleep.

It was communicated early on that I could check into the room around the as Shabbat was ending but I received a message right before Shabbat started that the room would not be ready until 9:00pm. I did not have any time to change my plans.

Would definitely stay there again if I need a night close to the airport. The bathroom was a little awkward with the basin lightly behind the door. Really not anything major.

- Phillip (10/5): I needed a brief place to stay in Tel Aviv. David took great care of me. - David, the manager, was extremely helpful before arrival and during my stay. The room was safe and clean, my usual two requirements. David's help sets this place above the rest. Taxi prices in Israel are shocking to me. I wish there was a more economical way to get to the location. An airport shuttle, cheaper than a taxi, would be a remarkable additional service.

- Joanna (8/5): Basic but comfortable room. - The place was quiet and clean. The owner sent me clear check in/entry instructions ahead of time. The entry was easy and quick. The shower had excellent water pressure and the water was hot. The bed was comfortable. The wifi instructions were clear and posted in the entry. There was hot/cold water available with a few bags of tea in the lobby. The room was VERY basic, with an empty fridge. A bottle of water would have been appreciated. It's supposed to be an "Airport" Guest House, but it's located a few kilometers from the airport and the drive took almost 20 minutes because of different roundabouts. Also, fortunately I had a lady-taxi-driver who waited outside till I got in. Otherwise, the place is rather "private" late at night. It's not next to the airport where there is traffic or people late at night.
