- Tony (10/5): - This place was great! Staff was very friendly, place was clean, each unit had its own patio to watch an awesome sunrise. Very close to center of town but really quiet at night. Gym was great, even with a cold pool to plunge. Kitchen well stocked, even had milk and coffee, sauces, salt, sugar, etc. Very comfortable bed, good wifi. Nothing, we really enjoyed every aspect.

- Nils (9/5): Beautiful and cozy hotel with very helpful staff - Amazing architecture, very cozy with lots of area to relax, large kitchen with storage areas, spacious rooms, super helpful and friendly staff, parking outside the entrance possible, laundry option as well (Kevin washed, dried and folded everything) Our room had a little ant nest somewhere and the noise from the street can be quite loud when n the morning hours

The rooster next door started crowing at 2 am and continued all night long. Seemed like it was in the room! There were also packs of wild dogs fighting and barking all night. The concrete walls reverberated the noise. 🥵

- Nancy (10/5): Amazing stay! Will return! - We had such an amazing stay at Perro Surfero in Todos Santos. The property is beautiful, peaceful, and perfectly captures the laid-back charm of the area. Every detail felt thoughtful and welcoming, and it truly made our trip special. A huge thank you to Kevin for all of his help during our stay — he went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and always made us feel so taken care of. His kindness and hospitality made such a difference. We absolutely loved our time here and can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend Perro Surfero to anyone visiting Todos Santos! Nothing
- Davita (8/5): Cute place, need better entry system - This place is a short distance outside the main town in Todos Santos. The room itself was very clean and cute. It is dog friendly and they provide a nice big dog bed which is a nice touch. I had a late check in, so they had me enter via a lockbox at the front door. I thought that key was specifically for me as any time I have entered somewhere via lockbox those keys are left for me. It turns out it was for the entire hotel, but there is no sign on or above the lockbox stating this (they should really add this) nor did they put this in writing to me. Apparently this info was buried in a video that I was watching with my hands full as I entered and missed that tidbit. So the owner frantically called me asking if I had the key when I was out, 20 minutes away asking me to hurry back and for whatever reason they didn't have a spare key to the hotel main entrance which I do not understand at all. Hopefully they've added a sign and have made extra copies of the entry key by now.

- DeWayne (7/5): Fortunately, only one room has spiral staircase access. Excellent host ! - Room featured the king size bed we requested and which was very comfortable. Fine cotton bed linens were excellent. Room and bathroom were very clean. Very nice view of the town from the balcony. But the best feature of the hotel was the manager, Kevin and his assistant. We have never met anyone so friendly and eager to please and to help. Thank you, guys ! Location was so-so. Outside of the downtown area, reachable only by car. Too far to walk. Bathroom was interesting but lighting needs improvement as it was far from satisfactory for ladies who need good lighting to apply make-up. Worst feature: a spiral staircase to reach our room. Very very difficult to use if you have any physical shortcomings (we do at our age) and particularly if you're carrying anything heavy like a suitcase. Fortunately, the manager and his assistant carried out bags up to the room after we checked in. But we carried them down, ourselves !

Habitaciones muy cómodas pero sobretodo es el conjunto, la piscina, las vistas desde la terraza, el coworking super cómodo y el ambiente muy surfer me encantó! Si tienes coche es un acierto al 100%. El único contra para mi es que está a 20 minutos del centro y el camino es un poco complicado porque es muy estrecho y por la noche mejor no ir. Los taxis si operan pero llegan cuando pueden.

- Amy (10/5): Very nice property with friendly staff. - The staff was great, the room was comfortable and clean. There is a beach nearby, a 30-40 minute walk on a lovely road. There is no swimming, no facilities, but I enjoyed it. There were mosquitos in the room, repellent would have been good. The property is a bit out of town. The walk was 20-30 minutes. There was a section of sidewalk with overgrown trees and narrow passage, so it would not be safe to walk at night. A taxi to/from town was 100 pesos, expensive for a short distance.

- Jessica (10/5): Beautiful and Quirky home away from home! - This little hotel is exactly as pictured. Its beautiful, clean and quirky. Every room has an adorable little patio, each room is unique and if you get upper level, there is even a beautiful view. The host was so accommodating and communicative. She even sent a full video of the property with all the info we needed through WhatsApp. There is nothing we didnt like. We were concerned about being too far from downtown, but turns out it was a fairly easy and pleasant walk right to the heart of Todos Santos.

- Adrianna (10/5): Beautiful place, full of hidden corners and nice places to get rest - Location is outside of town center but thanks to that, it is very quiet, Every room is different, equipped with all you need, including, small private terrace or patio. There are two small swimming pools, with sun coming there during sunset (a bit cold in the morning as there is no sun there yet). There is a big kitchen with coffee and a lot of utensils to be able to prepare your won breakfast. Really nice and cosy place to get rest for a few days (wish we could stay longer!) Note for room no1 - the gym/fintess room is just behind that - so in the morning starting 8 am you can hear some repetitive counting of people heavy lifting :)

Tout était très propre et bien aménagé pour le confort des clients. Laura est très sympathique et toujours disponible. Je recommande à 100 % ! L’hébergement est situé dans l’autre partie de la ville et pour se rendre au petit centre-ville, il faut idéalement prévoir un moyen de transport (vélo, moto ou auto).
- Ryon (10/5): We hope you can stay longer than we did! - We loved all of the amenities (in the room itself) and the amazing personal terrace connected to our room. Very modern look, relaxing environment, very comfortable bed, spacious, and very comfortable a.c. unit. Also, the Perro Surfero has a nice little gym, a pool, a well appointed communal kitchen, coffee provided, honor system kombucha and very carefully thought out personalized touches...this hotel also felt very safe. Tidy space, very kind staff too!! That we only got to stay one night! We would return again tomorrow!

Der Turm ist schön und man kann von oben herrlich weit ins Land sehen. Die offene Gemeinschaftsküche ist auch eine gute Idee. Gelungen auch sehr , dass Wasser und Kaffee allzeit zur Verfügung steht und Sonnenschirme für den Strand ausgegeben werden. Die ganze Anlage ist deutlich in die Jahre gekommen und müsste mal renoviert werden. Die Bilder im Netz sind farblich stark geschönt und geben nicht die aktuelle Realität wieder. Dort sieht alles sonnendurchwoben hell und bunt aus. Tatsächlich ist es eher grau und stumpf. Die Geräte sind alt und müssten einmal ersetzt werden. Auch gehört vieles mal neu gestrichen. Das war insgesamt einmal eine gute und originelle Idee. So eine Art Hippie und Surferretreat. Der Spirit ist dem Grunde nach gut. Aber wie gesagt: man muss mal Geld in die Hand nehmen und renovieren.

Near a grocery store & mile walk from the beach. Close walk to town. Not their fault: dogs barking & howling at night. Bring ear plugs Advertising said sea view & that's a stretch. The pool wasn't ideal. Glad we stayed there despite the above.

The rooms are clean, spacious and come with amenities. it is better to have a car. However, the hotel is located at only 20 minutes walking distance from the center and the staff can help you with booking taxis (or use their bicycles).

Minimalist, boho design throughout with lots of creative touches throughout, lending to a relaxed, eco-forward, desert-retreat vibe. Excellent WiFi, full access to shared kitchen with designated fridge space, and endless nooks and work spaces from which to work, relax, or retreat. The host and concierge, Cristobal, is a traveler, full of the wisdom of the world, generous of spirit and connection, and resourceful with recommendations for area activities. Mao, the proprietor, will also make time for connection and share his recipe for good living. Though we had booked just a short stay, we could have felt comfortable in this space for a long time. This would not be an easy space for one to negotiate with physical limitations.

We got Room 3, and I felt so uncomfortable sleeping in it because the conditions and furniture were minimal and basic, and the floor didn’t look clean. In Todos Santos I could have gotten a room with much better conditions for the price I paid.

- Nancy (9/5): Peaceful retreat - The hotel was within a short driving distance to town. It was a short walking distance to a wonderful breakfast/lunch place with an amazing garden-like setting. The hotel staff is professional and friendly. The outdoor facilities were great - several small outdoor seating areas and a firepit. The bed was so comfy but the pillows were too tall. The common kitchen area was a great benefit for all guests. The room was too dark with dim lighting.

Access to an exceptional kitchen, many spaces to relax, the bed was super comfortable and we were lent chairs and an umbrella so we could enjoy the beach despite the heat. I would have spend a week there!
- Firstdayofsummer (10/5): 10/10 - MUST STAY! - 10/10, this place is a must stay when in Todos Santos! The facilities, the cleanliness, the pool, the things to do, staff, dogs, everything was amazing! We highly recommend Perros Surferos to everybody travelling through Todos Santos! There is nothing concrete I could mention that wasn't really as we expected. This place is a dream come true.

The view from the room was fantastic. We stayed in room 9 and it was very private and comfortable. Great AC! We loved the shared kitchen space and all of the sweet and thoughtful touches that were made. The only disappointment was that the pool was not suitable by my standards to swim in. I realize that there was a storm which caused debris, but there was also green algae in the bottom causing the surfaces in the pool to turn green. It was SUPER hot when we were there, and the nearest swimmable beach is 20 minutes away, so having a pool in August was very important to me. Thankfully the AC in the room was fantastic!

- Brigitte (10/5): Perfect - ‘You are entering a stress free zone’ . This is what you can read when entering the Perro Surfero hotel and it corresponds exactly to our feelings during our stay!!! Everything is cool in this place. Each room has a nice terrace, the beds are comfortable and the shower probably the best we had in Baja California! There are outdoor seating places, nice common kitchen and living place. If you wish, the hotel also offers a quiet working place, and activities around Gym, Yoga, Ice baths … Finally, the manager and the staff are so warm welcoming! We initially planned one or two nights, we stayed four before leaving Baja California. Just perfect!!!!!!! Thank you Checo Brigitte, Valérie et Louis
- Quiet (8/5): we light the patios in the communal kitchen. We loved how friendly and helpful Checo was.🙏 - Checo was absolutely amazing. Friendly and helpful. The owner Mauricio helped us out when we asked for a floor fan to drowned out all the traffic noise. views from the high towers were great. it’s on a hill and so vehicle’s throughout the night rev the engine as they’re going up the hill. At all hours. if you are a light sleeper, it makes it very difficult to get a peaceful night’s rest.
