- Paul (6/5): - We were comfortable during our stay although the room was pretty small and suffered from noise due to other guests coming and going
- Patricia (10/5): - The breakfast was discontinued as of September 30th. That was a surprise but the owner explained why so not a problem. Great place and recommend to stay there.
- Marina (6/5): - Access was difficult due to resurfacing of the driveway. Hopefully that is now resolved. We found the room small for 2 people. Breakfast options could have been better.
- Donna Marie (8/5): - Breakfast was excellent! I was disappointed that there was a work crew there and they were loud not keeping their door closed. Visiting and drinking. It seemed very loud going out to smoke they were below or window on the deck which the noise wood carry! We were by the stairs so it was always activity going up and down!! They would be up early which I understand they need to go to work but down the stairs and doors shutting so made an early morning for us!! Are they suppose to smoke away from doorways ??? The place was lovely but just disappointed with the noise!!

- Jim (10/5): - Pretty nice place. Room was a little noisy at times with a poor door seal on the interior door letting even the smallest noise from the hallway in. Other than that, it was clean, reasonably convenient, and met the expectations. Exterior door access was convenient.

- Sharon (6/5): - Unfortunately, we had the Beluga Room which is very small, has no window ( except in the bathroom), and opens into the entrance ( so if partner opens the door any other guest coming in sees directly into the room. The walls are thin as we could hear conversations in the common room as if we were sitting in there. Really in all, a lack of privacy. There was a hot breakfast with delicious homemade jams.

Excellent breakfasts included and great to chat with other guests while eating. Our room was pretty cozy but I guess that’s what you get when you book several months ahead and don’t remember what you booked. Would stay again if in the area.
- Michelle (8/5): - The room was very nice. Bathroom spacious. Kitchen area was a little crowded, but made for good conversation. It felt more like a hotel than a B&B. There was no one there upon arrival, so there was no one to ask questions about the area. And there was no literature about the area. The fact that it was a hot breakfast was a nice surprise. I would definitely book a room there again

Bed VG, quiet and excellent breakfast and great opportunity to mix it up over coffee with other guests! Would stay again!

Upon arrival a note asked us to leave our shoes inside the door and put on (provided) knitted booties. I found this off putting. Room was extremely small with nowhere flat to put books, computers, etc, Wifi Staff at breakfast were not social. Breakfast was okay.

- Rhonda (10/5): Great place to stay - This is a clean, very nicely decorated bed and breakfast. The room was comfortable and I appreciated that it had air conditioning as well as heat. A different tasty breakfast was served each day we were there. The service was excellent. I didn't love having to take my shoes off inside, but I admit that I was very impressed that my white socks were still clean after walking around the common area and our room, and the wooden floors are pristine. The location was very convenient to everything we wanted to do. An excellent place to stay!

- Michael (8/5): - Nice clean property, every thing was fine, neat clean and tidy. The only down side, our room was the only room on the property that didn’t have A/C and we were in a heat wave. It still worked out pretty good as there was a ceiling fan and a portable fan and we did ok. All in all a nice place to stay and they offered a decent breakfast too boot.

The owner gave us a personal tour of the inside of boats on their property that they are converting into cabins & also provided us with a booklet with all of the Newfoundland pins. Great place to stay at when visiting Twillingate.

Very clean, and the staff was very accommodating with extra towels when we needed them. I did miss being able to open my window for fresh air, as the AC unit took up all the space. Loved our stay.

The main dining/living room area was freezing cold as the air conditioner was blasting, therefore you could not sit in the general area.No staff around to help with the situation.

- Tsu-hsuan (10/5): - The room was next to the breakfast room so after 7am it became noisy, but if you get up before 7am it will not be a problem for you. The room was extremely tiny so we didn’t have much space for our backpacks and hanging up clothes. The only small window was in the shower so we found it a bit stuffy in the room. But the breakfast was great as the host made pancakes and sausages for us and we got to try all the yummy homemade jams! Will come visit again and stay in a different room!

The pancakes were HUGE and fluffy and the coffee was great! The room was clean and quiet. It was fun to have breakfast with people from around the world. Very nice and cozy place.

Breakfast was a bit limited — no fruit or cereal — and the shower had very low water pressure. Also, more surfaces in the room and bathroom to set things down would be helpful. Still, a pleasant stay overall with great service and potential.
- Kathleen (10/5): - This is a very nice B&B, conveniently located in Twillingate. The rooms have nice decor and the bed was quite comfortable. The hot breakfasts were very good. Our only issue with the property is the lack of soundproofing between the rooms and the floor levels. We could hear the folks above us walking around, toilets flushing, and one night I heard someone snoring in another room. However we did sleep well as most nights everyone is very quiet.

- Verified traveler (8/5): Very new looking B&B with some quirks - This is not a traditional B&B experience since the owners, neither an inkeeper, live at the house, so interaction with staff will be marginal other than being served breakfast. We had 2 different couples serve breakfast the 2 mornings we stayed and neither made any attempt to get to know us or have the usual chitchat that you typically experience with B&B owners or staff. Since breakfast (satisfactory, but not great) was served in a very short 1 hr window, all guests were eating at the same time which meant easy opportunity to chat with other guests. Everything about the house looked not more than a year or two old, which meant very nice furnishings and comfortable bed. Also the room and bathroom was spotless clean. Our room was tiny, as were 2 other rooms I noticed with their doors open. No room for anything but the bed and one small chair. TV was small and positioned on the side of bed, so we watched TV in the shared living room, but keep in mind 2 bedrooms are located off the living room. Oh yes, also experienced the common issue of thin walls as we could hear a neighbor snoring and folks talking in the downstairs bedrooms while watching TV. So yeah, it was an okay experience, but I'd try another place if I ever visited Twillingate again.

Not sure how I feel about self check-in. I feel disconnected from the proprietors. But it seems to be the norm in Nfld.
