• Tyrone (1/5): Disappointing stay - Location No soap or body wash. No beach towels. 1 towel per guest(no clean towels for 5 days)same beading for 5 days. Rats in the room at night. Only one plug point. No fridge. No hot water for the first 2 days. Online questions are not answered.
• Mary (10/5): Best bargain stay in Mushroom Bay for a few nights - Beach location! Mushroom Bay is stunning - the crystal clear waters, pristine sand, changing tides and brilliant sunsets are a tropical delight. Lumbung Bali huts are metres away and with a complimentary brekky in the front bar/restaurant or enjoying happy hours drinks on the bean bags on the sandy front, it’s the happiest place to watch, meet, make new friends. Also terrific for arriving by ferry to Mushroom Bay. The accomodation Manager is efficient and helpful and the restaurant/bar staff were truly wonderful and friendly. The villas vary with standards-bathrooms and views, with Villa 2 being the superior accomodation. BUT with the tariffs charged it’s still a brilliant bargain staying in any of the unique huts.

Told when we got there it was not included. Dirty sheets, looked like blood stains on the sheets. Toilet and shower were outside down a dangerous staircase, and disgusting.

• Sébastien (8/5): Comfy and well located - The location is great. The bungalow is comfortable, bedding is good quality. The bedroom was clean and sheets too. The bathroom would need some maintenance, not very pleasant and missing a mirror.
• Andrew (1/5): Dirty - We were not happy at all, Rats in the roof dirty room. Mould everywhere, pillows were mouldy curtains were mouldy. The toilet lid was dirty. They mould smell was that bad we slept with the door open. The air con broke down you wouldn’t use it anyway cause it was dirty as well. This place is not up to having anyone staying there. It needs to be pulled down. My wife got sick from the mould, we coughed all night. Booking.com you should be ashamed to have this place on your list. We are coming back from Bali today and I will be sending Booking.com a email to get our money back. So there was nothing to like Everything. Was dirtiest place I’ve ever stayed at.

• Deborah (2/5): Avoid - Huts beachfront. Could have been beautiful but needs attention. Bathroom was hideous and really, really old. Huts are no manned a lot of the time, ended up locked out of room as there was no one to give us our key. One night the power cut to our hut! Woke up soaked in sweat! They didn’t have all the food and drink listed on the menu. We had breakfast once only as we chose to dine out after only being allowed one piece of toast and one egg. Room only has one plug socket! Wouldn’t recommend.
• Julie (9/5): Superb - Easy 45 min by fast ferry from Sanur & ferry lands directly on the beach at Mushroom Bay. Huts have direct access to beach. No pool necessary, as swimming at beach was very enjoyable. Strong wifi. Simple adequate breakfast. Huts have hot showers & coffee making facilities. Nearby beach-side eateries. No need really to leave Mushroom Bay, for a relaxing stay - although Island tours & activities are offered.

• Andrew (6/5): Location perfect but very run down - The staff are fantastic. Location is just brilliant. The facilities are run down, broken and in poor condition. There is no working fridge in bar, no cold drinks. The restaurant is not open, which is not advertised.

No fridge in the room so couldn’t keep water cold, and so much sand came through the room. Ants everywhere during the day.

• Marie-claire (6/5): Paradise and….. - Amazing location, great spot on the beach, so relaxing to sit out front listening to the waves - million dollars views really Ketut works so hard, is there long hours and will help you anyway he can. He actually gives 5* service, for example, when you get back from breakfast - your room has been cleaned - it really is wonderful what he does. The other staff (lady) is nice too Comfy loungers out front Great breakfast until 11am - banana pancakes and sliced fruit included in the price we paid Great value but if they could fix the issues below I’d be happy to pay more money to stay there A big mouse problem Unfortunately the huts need maintenance as there are a few large holes in the walls - on our first night we got back at 9.30pm and there were four mice in our room up where the air conditioner is - they are so brazen and don’t run off even when you try to make them leave Poison was put down but unfortunately on the fifth night I got into bed and noticed a dead mouse on the sheet next to me. From this point we found a new place to sleep at night. I have a big fear so it was hard for me to stay there - but if you don’t mind mice this place is epic If they could patch up the gaping holes and do some pest deterrent this place would be amazing We would come back - but only for a drink until this issue is sorted

• Kerri (7/5): Lovely hut overlooking mushroom bay. Great location & views. Great value & staff were very accommodating to gues - Location, value for money, bed was comfortable, staff were friendly. Thank you. Good value for what you pay. Mats beside bed not very appealing & old could be updated. Place a trash bin inside room as well for rubbish just not in bathroom. This did not affect our stay but just something helpful.

• Leoni (6/5): Pleasant - Perfect location for the beach, couldn't be any closer! The room was clean and well presented on arrival. For the price there is cheaper stays just behind and alot less nosey but still 2min walk from the beach. I have stayed in multiple beach huts on my stay but this one had big openings which wasn't great for sound on a night and insects. If your a light sleeper I wouldn't reccomend alot of noise on a night from the hotel next door.. was nice to hear the see but that was about it. Even though there was a Mosquito net, me and my partner still got absolutely peppered with bites in the night which was expected with all the gaps. Breakfast was very simple. Not the best. Would probably advise just to go to one of the local cafes. For the price there is cheaper stays just behind and alot less nosey but still 2min walk from the beach.
• Rachael (7/5): Good - Helpful staff, comfortable large beds, good hot water and pressure. Blocked toilet in one of rooms, toilet difficult to get to, our family had 3 case of Bali belly but okay if not sick I suppose. Could be a magnificent property with some money spent on maintenance.

• Elletson (8/5): Value for money in fantastic location - Loved the location right on beachfront. Loved all the ferry, boats or water activities to either watch or participate in. Ketut, staff member, was very helpful in arranging transport for day trips. All staff very helpful. They even arranged a fridge for us for $5 a day, which was worth it The stairs down to the outside bathroom were a worry for us but in the end it wasn't a problem. It would have been better if they had meals as well, although there was breakfast.

Very close to the beach, location is great. Only one charging port for our room to charge our phones.

However, I fell twice on the stairs to the outs - The location is superb The size of the room is too small, no refrigerator and the stairs down to the bathroom are a hazard as they are too narrow and it’s too dark to see your footsteps. I fell twice and have grazed both knees and my elbow. It was dangerous.

• Yukiko (7/5): Good - This property is located right on the beach at Mushroom Bay, and is a little tucked away and crowded in, as compared to the pictures. The bathroom is located outside down a fairly steep flight of stairs, which could be a problem for anyone with mobility issues.

Even the bed was comfortable. Great place for those on a budget, very well priced!! Staff were great. It could benefit from more development in the restaurant area as its right on the beach.
• Brett (8/5): Loved our stay here, the location can't be beaten. - We loved our stay at Lumbung Huts. We're a family of 4 so we got two huts next to each other. The huts are very basic but have a great feel and are right on the beach The bathroom was down some steep steps. It's not suitable for people with mobility issues.

• Holly (8/5): Beachfront bargain - Our little hut was beachfront in this beautiful little bay. Great price for the location. Air con, mossie net, good breakfast all at a great price. Very helpful staff, clean room. Cheap scooter rental available. Not a luxury stay but you are not paying for that!

• Narelle (5/5): enjoyed but could've been so much better - loved the location, very central. the beds were huge and comfortable. sheets were stained. bathroom in single storey beach front villa was disgusting, damp and smelled mouldy. we also had a raised villa, with outdoor (no roof) bathroom - a bit weird using the toilet and being naked in a shower with the back gate free swinging with no lock on it! No cafe/restaurant on site even though chairs and tables everywhere. Sunbeds filthy stained. They've really missed a trick with having an amazing central location (right where the ferries arrive) but no food, drinks, inviting atmosphere - could be amazing

• Taylah (10/5): Beautiful beach escape, staff were always available and happy to help with anything we needed, breakfast was simple but - Loved the staff, the rooms and the overall location, Rooms don’t have a fridge but the staff were happy to set one up for us on arrival for our stay We loved everything about our stay here, the main entrance is on the beach and can be tricky to access with suitcases, and you do have to walk up steep steps to use the bathroom, wasn’t a problem for us but something to keep in mind,
• Alexandra (4/5): Disappointing - The bed was very big and comfy, right at the beach, supermarket and ATM in walking distance. The bathroom really ,really needs a renovation and I missed soap to wash my hands in the sink. It would be great if there was a fridge and a bin in the bedroom but it was OK without. Location is a bit off if you are traveling alone and don't want to drive by yourself. I felt that I was on the wrong side of the island all the time as you only have a handful of options in walking distance. The beach is calm and great for kids. You should know though that the huts arel right where the speed boat arrives and it comes with the smell and groups of people.

• Julie (7/5): Great value for money - Great value for money and it’s right on the beach at Mushroom Bay. If you are looking for cheap accomodation and value for money this is the place. The owners were helpful. A little bit noisy at night time with the music from the resort next door but it did stop by 10 p.m.

• Lynn (3/5): Expectations weren’t high as not expensive - the beach location went a little way to make up for its lack of upkeep and - Location on the beech Owner not replaced generator so had no power at crucial time of day from 6-10 pm one night and accommodation needs some renovation- looking very tired.
• Mcdonough (10/5): Little piece of paradise in Nusa lembongan. - We loved being right on the beach with only 5 huts in the resort so it made it feel more homely & very private. Ketut was our manager/concierge of the resort & he went above & beyond to look after us, nothing was a hassle and he took great pride in keeping our room nice & clean & the resort. The Bathrooms could do with an upgrade.
• Brooke (7/5): A fantastic place on the beach for those on a low budget , close to many restaurants, shops and spas. - The staff were really friendly . Very quiet at night . You can see the ocean from sohuts No pool but not really necessary

• Susan (8/5): Nothing like a few nights on the beach. - We could sit on our bed and see the beach. Absolute bliss, location is the best. There are only 5 huts and we spent 3 nights in the hut with the ocean view. We really enjoyed our 3 nights here. The staff running the hotel are wonderful, they organised our snorkeling and scooters. The breakfast was a bit of a letdown, that is the only meal we had in the restaurant. That is the only thing we felt was a letdown.

• Jessica (5/5): Sorry but not again - Directly on the beach and the bungalows are very very nice ! Small but for a couple of days perfect! Unfortunately, the employees had no motivation. They almost made us feel guilty when we asked them for something. The toilets in the restaurant are dirty and are not cleaned at all.
