• Mariana (9/5): Good experience - Lovely hosts, Perfect location for my needs, clean and comfortable. Well supplied with self-catering paraphernalia. The only thing I could find a fault in was the small bathroom. The shower was tiny like a cubicle. More suitable for a skinny person. But I guess this is kind of usual in seaside accommodations oftentimes.
• Danielle (9/5): Overall a lovely stay & would return. - We stayed for 2 nights at the property, due to having an event nearby, at the Riviera Centre. The hosts were very welcoming, accommodating and helpful. There were tea bags & a pint of milk in the room on arrival, which was a lovely touch after a long journey. The accommodation was quiet and well situated - we were able to walk to the venue and the beach. Plenty of free and unrestricted on road parking close the property, which was welcomed. We did find the property quite cold, even with the radiators turned on. That being said, there were blankets in the room, which we utilised. Whilst the temperature wasnt ideal, it wouldn't prevent me from booking again, so the positives definitely outweighed the negatives.

Bed was very comfortabl - Met by host, studio apartment excellent everything there for a perfect stay The property is excellent , the laundry room is in the same vicinity of the room which I stayed in which was used by some guests late at night. Guests should be advised of a curfew time

• Sarah (10/5): Lovely place - Extremely clean, great location and had everything I needed. I took my pooch so having a balcony and garden was an added bonus. Will definitely be returning! My only complaint was the WiFi. I’m not one to be sitting on my phone all day but if you wanted to watch something on the tv that was internet based, it just kept stopping and loading. For me this was a bit of an issue as I went for rest and spent quite a bit of time in the apartment. Other than that, I can’t complain about anything else.

I will recommend these apartments. - Excellent location in lovely part of Torquay, in very easy walking distance of the beach and train station. Wonderful hosts who make it clear they are available to deal with queries but do not intrude. Very clean, comfortable and well-maintained accommodation. Prices are very reasonable.

• Nick (9/5): Reasonably priced self catering apartment, near to beach, parking and very dog friendly. - Great self catering apartment, well thought out rooms separating a living, kitchen, bathroom and sleeping area. Comfortable bed, well equipped kitchen and most of all dog friendly without having the normal extra payments often seen on other locations. Very clean, right down to having the remote control / keys in protective bags. Lovely big garden for my dog. Off road parking, this maybe harder in the summer but for me managed to park the car right by the front door. Owners were on hand if you needed them but also left you alone to enjoy your stay. Great price for a weekend getaway, I would definitely look to book here again. Nothing.

• Sheila (10/5): Perfect property - Apartment was attractive and well maintained. It was well set out with plenty of storage and equipment. We had a small balcony that looked out over the garden. Our apartment was next to the road but there was no noise at night. There is a large garden accessible from the front and rear and just beyond that a small park which was perfect for early morning/ late night dog walks. (There is even a dog poo bin in with the recycling bins). It is an easy 5 minute walk down to the front and 10 minutes to Chelston Manor which does great food and is dog friendly. Couldn't fault it. Will definitely stay again.
• EJ (9/5): Excellent value for money... surely nothing cheaper for so much - Excellent value for money in an ideal location: 2 minutes walk to station, 5 minutes to beach, 15 to town centre. Handy to have car parking, but the residential roads around were not restricted. Such a peaceful location even though it's in a town...we weren't disturbed by noise at all. The garden area was relaxing to sit in. Lovely that the apartments accept dogs. Friendly welcome by owners who live on site. Impressive how they have adapted this building into modern apartments and made clever use of space. We had everything we needed for our self catering stay. It was nicely decorated and absolutely spotlessly clean. Our apartment was rather small, but it was fine for our short stay, and for the price we can't complain at all. The bed was quite soft - but that's just personal opinion.

• Debbie (8/5): Great value stay at Chelston Dene - The room was well equipped with everything we could need for self catering. It was clean. Good view from our bay window. The house was well situated. Dog friendly with open grassy area at rear of house, aswell as rear garden. Room was a bit on the small side, made even smaller with unnecessary easy chairs which constantly had to be moved to get at the dining table. It would have been better to get rid of them and replace the two dining chairs with more comfortable padded option.

• LEAH (9/5): Great place to bring my Rottweiler with to stay at. My family enjoyed it alot. - Great as can bring dog there and it's quite spacious. Did the absolute trick as a self catering apartment and we were out all day every day and in evenings, it's relaxing. It's great for short stays and bear in mind, it's NOT a hotel. Great host. Lots of games in foyer to use. Lots of books to borrow. Adorable cat bossing its presence everywhere. If we are in area again with dog, we'll stay there. We didn't use kitchen much. If u are a chef or an avid cook, bring your frying pan with or eat out or order take away. Everything was great.

The room itself was beautiful, spacious and well equipped with everything we needed. The location is tucked away in a quiet road with parking available. The room was fresh and comfortable, the gardens were beautiful and the hosts friendly. It is wonderfully located, a short walk to the esplanade that takes you along the beach and into Torquay.
