Guest Reviews
- Daniel (8/5): Almost great, half facilities closed, sports but but no sky sports???? Just call yourself a pub if you don’t show sky s - Perfect holiday accommodation No bin bags or washing liquid or cloth , yet your supposed to clean
- Mercedes (7/5): -
- Don (8/5): -
- Barbara (9/5): We were visiting a sick member of our family living in Lady Nance so it was a good base. - It was comfortable and met our requirements. It would have been helpful to have known a tea towel, dish cloth and washing up liquid wouldn’t be provided as we had to go out to purchase. Only a minor detail and not a complaint.
- Peter (7/5): Property good. However, the outdoor pool is minging - Sizeable property, clean and worked well for our party Nothing tbh
- Ian (4/5): Accommodation pretty grim looking externally, however internally not so bad and fairly clean. - Fairly cheap. If you wanted to use the indoor pool and sauna had to book slots days in advance. Very few slots available and early morning slots very rare.
No dishwasher.
Mansion Arms (The site bar) expensive.
- Maryam (7/5): Lovely setting, but outdated cottages, inconsistent amenities, and lack of basic essentials made the stay disappointing. - It was a nice property of 4 beds with three bathrooms.
It was nice size bedrooms and living room and kitchen. The setting is lovely and the cottages are in a peaceful location, which we really enjoyed. However, during our stay as a group across three cottages, we all noticed the same issues. The mattresses were uncomfortable with broken springs, there were no mirrors in the bedrooms, and the upstairs corridor light wasn’t working. Only one toilet roll was provided for the entire stay, just two dishwasher tablets, and no hand wash — I understand it’s self-catering, but a few basic essentials would make things much easier.
The interiors feel a little dated and could benefit from some modernisation or new furniture. In my cottage, the TV was smart, but the other cottages didn’t have this, which felt inconsistent given we paid the same rate. Unfortunately, all the indoor swimming sessions were booked up when we arrived, so we couldn’t use that facility.
With better maintenance, consistent amenities across all cottages, and a few thoughtful touches, this could be a fantastic place to stay.
- Richard (9/5): - Clean and perfectly adequate accomodation.
Great gym and pool (requires booking)
Tiny but well equipped shop.
Pretty much all added extra facilities free.
Stayed whilst our kids were at Boardmasters. Location 15 mins each way from green gate and (for 2025 at least) in great position for one way traffic system in and out.
Shame there isn't a more convenient bus route into Newquay but I understand park are trying best to get this.
The place looks a bit tired but once there nothing to complain about.
Every member of staff that I met were absolutely lovely. Outside of accomodation doesn't look amazing but everything else good
- Jocelyne (4/5): - Huisje was vies. Bank zat vol vlekken en het rook niet fris.
- David (8/5): Definitely worth a visit - Very clean, friendly staff, range of activities reasonably close to Newquay and supermarkets, quiet. No internet?!? If you go out of peak season erractic opening/closing times for most of the amenities.
- Michael (7/5): Perfectly good stay for what we wanted (but see notes) - Clean and tidy. Outside very messy - dead vegetation, old cigarette ends. A little effort to tidy up outside would have been easy for you. No towels supplied but I thought that would be the case given the price, but it couldn't cost much more to provide basic towels and a tea towel.
I would have liked to play tennis but nets in a bad state and coudn't be fixed. It looks like the courts have been resurfaced but it has been very badly done, Very rough and in fact a dangerous surface if you fell over and not a good surface for proper play, It seems like the surfacing was done very cheaply by someone who didn't understand tennis courts at all. Were you trying to save money by getting cheap tarmackers in?
- Stephen (5/5): Ok could have been better - Apartment was very nice Web site didn’t say we had bring our own towels to sits and swimming pool which is very usual
- Hope (6/5): Pleasant - What i like about the place is, it's very near to every attraction.. would come again.. No WiFi! The covered smells and the plates. But over all it's a lovely place to stay.
- Hannah (7/5): It is not 5* luxury but it is absolutely fine for what it is, & kids loved the facilities. - Great for kids Outside pool could be smartened up a bit
- Katharine (10/5): Relax whilst working - Great location with wonderful facilities No washing up liquid or basic cleaning equipment - understandable for longer stays but inconvenient for a short stay
- Cameron (6/5): Pleasant -
- Jasbir (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lisa (4/5): Location was okay but the property needs a spruce up and pot holes need fixing on road into village. - The location was quite handy for getting into Newquay but the road into the Village was full of huge pot holes and you had to drive on the other side of the road sometimes which could endanger oncoming cars. Booking.com stated that wifi was available in all areas and was free. When I checked in I asked the Reception staff what the wifi password was and they said this property was privately owned and that the owner had decided not to put wifi in. This should have been made very obvious on the booking site as it is very misleading and meant we had to use data all the time unless we went in the pub or reception, which was not possible after the closing times. The property itself looked clean but it is in need of a freshen up especially in the bathroom as the grout was missing from within many floor tiles and the shower cubicle had mouldy sealant. These are simple things that could have been rectified to spruce the place up. Also a couple of the spotlights in the bathroom and main bedroom went out during our stay and kept flickering on and off - again simple things to rectify by during a bit of DIY and general maintenance from time to time.
- Sidney (9/5): Superb -
- Thomas (8/5): Lovely place and everything was there - Clean and left alone Clean
- Keeley (8/5): Great little stay! - Property was central for exploring Newquay. The cottages were clean and tidy and it was great having a base with your own kitchen. The slip and slide onsite was great fun and having access to the gym was also great. Didn’t use the pools so cannot comment on them although you did have to book. Weren’t anything I didn’t like but a little onsite shop would have been great for when forgetting little things such as washing up liquid.
- Nicoka (7/5): Good position - The chalet was lovely - on Saturday all day there was no electric. No electric from early and when we got home we couldn’t cook for the children or make cups of tea we had to take the children out again for something to eat. There was no apology we were told by other chalet stayers about the non electricity. See above
- Emma (9/5): We had a lovely stay and enjoyed the great facilities. - Clean and spacious A little further from the beach than expected.
- Elzbieta (6/5): Pleasant - Good size Very old place not really looked after.
Outdoor pool didn’t look to clean.
- Rizwana (6/5): Pleasant - Everything was nice and clean. Kids were looking forward to swimming but each time we checked was fully bookes.
- Ambrazaitiene (8/5): Very good -
- Sudarshi (8/5): Great place to have perfect vaccation - there was no breakfast, but the kitchen was equipped enough to make our own breakfast for the whole family. Lovely location, large living room and bedrooms. Very clear sounding. Own towels and amenities to carry. Pools are clean and booking is required. Everybody really follows allocated pool timing. Nearby there is a large slide both kids and adults can enjoy. We love the place and perfect for family and friends outings in Cornwall. The place is not very far from many beautiful places in Cornwall took time to lear how to book the pool facilities and didn't know there are no towels available at the apartments.
- Witold (10/5): Exceptional - Everything that was available There was nothing I didn't like
- Andy (10/5): Atlantic Reach Holiday Park.A MUST if you're in Cornwall - We loved the ENTIRE site!
Couldn't fault a single thing and was truly gobsmacked with the accommodation.
Will definitely recommend AND book for next year. Thank you all. Absolutely nothing.
- Matthew (9/5): Brilliant - All of it Only complaint - i wanted to train in the gym and leave the kids in the soft play, wasn't allowed. No staff in soft play. Difficult for single parent whose a sportsman.
Also no lifeguard surprised me.
- Kim (6/5): The leisure facilities are fine, but we didn’t want to spend much time in the house we had. Good value for facilities no - The property was a good size and well equipped. The bedding was clean. The bathrooms were clean and good. The property was VERY TIRED. It is in need of a makeover. The whole house creaks from the floors to the stairs and the mattresses on the beds that are rather springy.
- Vignesh (5/5): I wouldn't recommend to any one. - Location close to co-op The cafeteria closed 10 mins before 9
No towels are provided and there is no in-house support only over-the-phone support that too only response no action taken.
Car parking near the allocated room was awful. There was no space management, cars were parked on their wish
The chalet provided was in the corner of the resort as if we were unwanted, and for this, £585 is too much.
- Ingrid (8/5): Lovely .. house was very comfortable - It was amazing, so many amenities… but I would tell people that they need to book swimming etc . The stafff were AMAZING Dishwasher needs a clean but we told the staff as we were leaving.. would have been nice to have had a dishcloth, a few amenities, such as a few tea bags and sugar etc to get us started …mattress covers or bedding does not fit the beds. But again we told the staff that
- Mohammad (10/5): Amazing lodge with professional service - The service was quite good and the staff is very supportive even though we checked in late night, but they supported us amazingly. I recommend everyone to go there. Nothing is disliked.
- Piyush (4/5): Carry your own toiletries! - Location is good, very close to fistral beach and fair play area for young kids No toiletries, no handwash, no hand towels, no toilet rolls, very creaky floor.
I requested for toilet rolls as none of the nearby grocery stores had them but was refused! It's unbelievable!
- Velidi (8/5): Very good - Nice facilities Ambiences & all facilities
- Kelvin (7/5): A really nice stay but just missed the mark with a few essentials missing. - Really comfortable and clean accommodation. No WiFi. Not really acceptable in this day and age.
- Ravi (5/5): Great location, good facility, services and utilities could be I - Loved that the facility was family friendly and clean. Faculty didn’t have hand wash, towels and other utilities. It doesn’t cost too much to get them but is too inconvenient. Good if you can keep it for customers. Indoor pool booking facility was clumsy.
- Carole (7/5): A good family holiday - Spacious property. Good location for the area. Clean bedding and property on arrival. On site parking good. Plenty of crockery and utensils. Dish washer a bonus but not listed before arrival. Communication not good. Not told where to pick up/go to register. On arrival no clear signage for reception. Too many signs to check where to go at split in the road. No welcome pack explaining use of the location. House very tired with creaky floors waking everyone, broken fittings I.e. floor beading and floor planks moving with some gaps, damaged plaster and missing picture.
- Fernando (9/5): The whole building area has great facilities for a family - It has several options to enjoy with the kids, like a pool, mini golf, laser tag, playground, billard, etc
- Alisha (3/5): Read the fine print - The location was good and the facility offered some fun things to do. No internet, towels, extra toilet paper at the house. The construction is poor and the whole house seems to shake when you walk upstairs. Have to book everything with no guarantee of getting it, like swimming. Swimming closes by 6pm because they let it to locals, but doesn't allow guests to use after a day of exploring. Most other activities are at an extra cost.
- Evelina (9/5): Lovely family stay - Great accommodation, calm and beautiful area, close to swimming pools, children's playground etc. We really loved the laser tag!
- Mohmed (10/5): Exceptional - The Surrounding of chalet was wonderful very relaxing. The chalet was spacious and clean. Very friendly staff. Good value for money . Really enjoyed the stay. There was no WiFi and hot water tub at chelate, although its say on booking.com its only available on reception area
- Debra (10/5): Exceptional - We really enjoyed our stay at Atlantic beach the staff were very friendly and helpful and the house was very clean and spacious.
We shall be going back Clean comfortable and spacious my boys loved it? i really enjoyed vising the ieisure centre every morning the staff were very friendly and helpfull
- Dariusz (7/5): Good -
- Shaheeda (6/5): Pleasant stay comfortable will recommend - Good location
Comfortable
Kitchen well stocked Smelled very mouldy
On arrival time very dusty and a lot of spiders and cob Webber
Check in at 5 pm was too late.
Checkout at 9 am was too early
- Harish (10/5): Exceptional - The property was nice and clean and the staff was really helpful. We reached late in the evening around 9:15 PM and called up the helpline and were immediately assisted with the keys.
- Latham (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mahmood (10/5): Stay was perfect local shops and Newquay just down the road - Everything was perfect The initial booking said £100 would be returned for each property the deposit would be returned as long as everything was good, we had two properties so I was expecting £200 and we did a full clean and tidied up before we left exactly at the right departure time.
- Mike (10/5): Exceptional -
- Baldeep (7/5): Nice but a bit disappointing. - It was nicely set out It was advertise that there was free Wi-Fi but it was only in reception. You do not get a jacuzzi only selected houses get it which was sad because all the kids were excited for it.
- Wayne (6/5): Lovely house and staff - Lovely big house, friendly and helpful staff with a great gym and swimming pool. No WiFi. Your add is a bit misleading. WiFi is only available in reception which closes at 9pm. The bar and servery area was also shut. (Out of season) No washing machine in the house.
