Susan (10/5): Comfort, convenience and quality all the way - Very conveniently located off the highway. In area of many shops and restaurants. Seemed to be fairly new. Everything in excellent shape, from landscaping to the finishes used in the room. We try to stay at Home2 suites when possible in our travels. They are thoughtfully built to be very quiet. The goodie bag on check-in is a nice perk for Hilton honors. Everything in the room was built for comfort and functionality. We also appreciate the Zero% products in the bathroom. We bought some of the soaps after staying at another Home2 location. Breakfast is always good. Love the pot of oatmeal, and yogurt dispenser with many mix ins offered. Work out room was clean. After a long day of travel, it was so nice being there. Also, we noticed that the staff were all focused on their jobs. Some other hotels have staff collected out front, smoking, or congregating inside, and you can tell when the staff doesn’t make the effort to keep up the hotel. Nothing, all good!

kamyf2015 (2/5): The Negative Reviews are True - A picture is worth a million words. Please look at the pictures and stay away from this dirty motel. This place is not worthy of the Hilton Brand. We check out, after 1 night with bed bugs bites all over our bodies. Ian / Liam ( male front desk worker) was extremely unprofessional and Rude.

LisaandDA (10/5): Great Fredrick hotel - We just stayed at this hotel and everything was great. All the staff were friendly and helpful . The elevator worked well. We were on the 5th floor and it was very quiet. The room was clean and neat with kitchen supplies. The bed linens were smooth and comfy , and the beds were comfortable. My husband noted that he slept straight through the night, but he usually has to get up to use the bathroom. For me the mattress was okay, but a little firm. My hips like it softer. The shower gives off a lot of pressure. The water is soft. The breakfast is a notch above some other hotels. They offer cut up strawberries and blueberries to put on oatmeal, yogurt, cereal or waffles. My only complaint is that the artwork around the hotel ugly abstract art.

Highly recommend! Maybe a stain or two on the floor but it’s a room where pets stay. Stuff happens but make sure to clean the rooms and or change carpets

The check-in process was simple on the app. I really appreciate the digital key aspect. The hotel was clean, the rooms were spacious and was exactly what we needed to host our guests. The front desk staff was extremely accommodating to a special request I had which was truly helpful to an unexpected situation. I was texted after check-in to ensure I had everything that was needed. In addition, I was texted during my stay to ensure everything about my stay was going smoothly. Thank you Home2 Suites, I will absolutely recommend your property to any personal or business colleagues visiting the Frederick area.

K409RVclairec (10/5): Exceeded expectations - My husband, myself and our 20mo toddler had a great 4-night stay. I chose this place as it seemed to be the only hotel that offered suites with a closeable door between the living space and the bedroom… this was important to us so that we didn’t have to lie in silence when toddler went to sleep! We chose the fifth floor hoping it to be quiet and it was. The suite was clean and very spacious and exactly what we needed. Breakfasts were great (lots of variety, fresh fruit, etc) although they struggled to keep up at the weekend when there was a HS soccer team staying… remedied with patience. Pool was clean, warm and didn’t smell of chlorine. Service was friendly and helpful… they even went through the trash to find a toddler-painted-dinosaur-wedding-present that I had naively set outside in a paper bag to dry. I didn’t have high expectations of this place but would definitely choose to stay there again.

Good variety at breakfast and breakfast staff friendly and helpful. They also kept the area nice and clean. We brought our Cavapoo and there Isis a trail to walk and marked areas for pet relied station on one side of the hotel. Located near downtown about 10-15 mins drive. We’d stay here again. No issues.

Christian (10/5): - Room was clean, staff was friendly, I love the self check-in/check-out feature that allows you to go straight to your room and leave when the time comes. The only thing I'd like to see changed is the ability to change the settings on the in-room TV. The TV is locked to factory settings which unfortunately means a feature called "motion smoothing" is turned on which introduces input lag. I was unable to play video games on the TV but otherwise everything else, including the breakfast, was amazing!

Breakfast was good, love having a larger refrigerator and dishes and dishwasher. We had housekeeping service every other day. The staff was helpful and friendly. I would like to see a detachable sprayer in the shower.

With following the model quality goes by the waste side. The breakfast was not attractive to the eye and the setup did make sense to me as a chef by profession. The facility was kept very well. But the mattresses may not to be updated in some of the units.

Rosalba (8/5): - This 5 story hotel is conveniently located on a major road next to and close to numerous shopping strip malls. Dining options are abundant as is proximity to almost anything a traveler is need of. The hotel front end staff was great - very accommodating and polite. There are hot and cold breakfast items, your typical mass produced offerings. If you're looking for something tastier, try one of the local diners or restaurants. Also, no handsoap or toiletries offered here. Make sure you bring your own. Towels are limited. Only got two during my stay and they do NOT come clean your room on a daily basis. Additionally, do not plan to walk barefoot in the hallway. Carpet is very dirty with stains and there is debris all over. Doesn't appear that they vacuum their hallways. Pool area is right next to elevator, it's indoor and semi dark in that area. This hotel was decent, could be better.
Darren (8/5): - We recently stayed here as a family of four and had a great experience overall. The room was a perfect size for us, spacious, clean, and comfortable. The beds were very cozy, and the full-size fridge was a huge plus, especially when traveling with kids. Breakfast was pretty good and had everything you'd expect: waffles, eggs, potatoes, sides of meat, cereal, yogurt, juice, and oatmeal. What really stood out was the fun "sandwich of the day" option, made using the available breakfast items. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly throughout our stay, which made things even more enjoyable. The only downside was that the pool was closed during our visit, so we had to use the one at the hotel across the way. This was not ideal, but at least there was a backup option. All in all, we had a great time and would definitely come back again.

Venture584746 (10/5): Ms.Catherine Myers saved the stay! - Ms.Catherine Myers was absolutely amazing! Caring,professional,sympathetic and patient.The front desk agent Ian Swails was on the other hand extremely rude,unprofessional and uncaring,no so much as a greeting upon us approaching the desk for check in! He was on his phone with a personal call and refused to acknowledge us standing there for check in! Fortunately Ms.Catherine approached the desk from the back and greeted us with the warmest smile and welcome one could give! She then proceeded to apologize on behalf of her colleague for his unprofessionalism and rudeness and took great care of us for the duration of our entire stay! She checked on us several times during her shift to make sure we needed nothing and was simply amazing. Thank you Ms.Catherine you are a jewel for Hilton! Mr.Swails needs to handle "Boyfriend issues" on his personal time.

Amber (6/5): - Arrived at 2:15pm, on date of check in after driving 9 hours in nealy100 degree heat ( not hotels issue I know ) Asked if we could get an early check in . No, no room available yet . That's fine we will wait. At 3:00pm ( normal check in time ), room still not available. Every 15 minutes, I inquired if our room was ready and was met with a very snarky gentleman at the desk , stating he will tell me when a room is ready. At this time many other people expecting to check in at 3pm were told their rooms were not ready either and would have to wait in the lobby with all the rest of us. At nearly 4 pm we were told our room was ready.
Christine (8/5): Good enough for a one night stay! - Breakfast was average hotel food - just what you would expect, but the plates and silverware were all empty and in need of being replenished. The shower was very unsatisfactory - nearly no pressure at all. That's the only problem we had with an otherwise very nice room.
