Kathy (4/5): Not a lot of options in Bulls, just be clear when booking about what you are needing - The size of the bathroom was good, there is a pool and spa (which we weren't able to use so wasn't a feature of choosing this motel over others). The room I booked in the app said "room has 2 beds," I booked the 1bdrm suite to have a bit more space and because of the kitchenette. The room we were given only had 1 queen bed, spoke to staff and was given a smaller room which had 2 beds in it (I deliberately had not booked that room because it was too small and had no kitchenette). Hence I paid more but ended up with a cheaper room and not refunded the difference. Asked for a slightly late checkout, wasn't informed if there was a fee for that, later on once my phone was fixed I saw a message saying that there is a fee for late checkouts depending on the time. Had I been informed there was a fee, I would've just checked out at 10am.
Kiddie (6/5): Was a bit expensive. Was just OK - It was a big lounge. Sheets and duvet was lovely duvet nice n warm. The bed was lumpy. The shower needs attention the water sprays out of side of rose.

Rodney (7/5): Good overnighter from ferry travelling north - The studio apartments were very good. The 'shared bathrooms' cabins with 1 bed were some distance from the bathroom block. We had to move one Guest as there was a hole in the wall and a mouse got in.

L R Mahu (8/5): - Good soundproof, as we did not hear any neighbours during our stay. Electric blankets on all beds (2 single and 1 queen) were good. Fast heating heater in open plan lounge, dining, and kitchen. Despite being located on the main highway, the traffic sound was not loud at all. Awesome full kitchen with stove etc. Very clean and tidy throughout. Spare blankets and pillows were available in both bedroom's very large closets. Fully carpeted throughout. Portable heater in large bedroom not working. Twin bed room very small with no heater. Maybe swap the twin single beds into the larger room. The fridge was a bit noisy. Bedrooms were quite cold, but luckily for the electric blankets.

Riana (10/5): Beautiful Place 😌 - Very tidy place, surrounded by nature. Has communal toilets and kitchen for all staying, has a camp ground. I really enjoyed our stay. The staff were lovely. We will definitely be back again. Nothing not to like.

We didn’t end up staying as the room wasn’t suitable for our needs due to me not reading the info correctly when booking. Family room was one communal room and the toilet was shared down a steep flight of stairs outside and around the corner. Website stated it was a shared bathroom but I misunderstood.

Lorryn (10/5): Fabulous stay in family studio will be coming to stay again my son annd I enjoyed our stay - Absolutely everything was amazing we stayed at rydges hotel and wellington and this was by far the best stay compared to other places. The staff were lovely and helpful. Tourists not being tidy kiwis 🤣 it's not hard to wipe up after yourself. If sharing facilities share the clean up of your own stuff. But the staff were so helpful.

Had to change the room when I arrived as I didn't know there were no bathroom facilities so had to pay an additional $70 on top of the $80 I had already paid. Louise (8/5): Comfortable, clean and warm unit - I appreciate unit was away from main highway for undisturbed rest - Everything was very good I would have liked to have tried the spa - however the open hours were too late for me because my hui started at 8 a.m. and finished by about 8.30 a.m. There was nothing to dislike

I like this accommodation has swimming pool facility, although I had no time to utilise this this time. I don't have an air fryer, therefore didn't know how to use this. Although the bathroom facilities were shared, they were well maintained, clean, and felt safe. It was disappointing to see that two of the bed sheets had blood stains, which made me concerned that the sheets may not have been properly washed or changed.

Penny (10/5): Lovely summer's evening swim and spa. - The facilities certainly exceeded our expectations. The host kindly allowed us to use the pool even though we checked in near the closing of pool hours. We had a lovely evening swim and spa. The room was spacious and well equipped. The kitchenette in our room was better equipped than expected. We were able to cook sweetcorn in microwave and 2 min noodles using boiling water from kettle. We all slept well in the comfortable beds and noted very minimal traffic noise despite the location by SH1. The communal bathrooms were very clean and fresh. We would stay again. A little distance to communal bathrooms that was as we expected.

Janelle26 (10/5): Value for money - Great location, super friendly and helpful staff. The pool was a hit with the kids. The beds were comfortable. Good value for money. Almost all the bricks around the pool were not secured down, so a bit scary for a kid when they hold it and it popped off. The ladder to the room upstairs was intense, we didn't realize when we booked that it had a second level, wouldn't encourage getting these units with an adventurous toddler. The bathroom hadn't been cleaned properly, there were hairs and dust all around the bin, which we realized when a child dropped their tooth brush 🤢
