Staff onsite is not professional nor properly equipped to handle the many issues this hotel has. The water pressure is terrible. Drains are slow. Leaks and other issues...

- bjgulley (10/5): A hotel that meets travelers' needs: Convenient location, easy to get to and breakfast to get you on your way. - We chose this hotel for its location and easy access. We were making our way back home from vacationing in Florida, and wanted to stop in Frankfort to visit Buffalo Trace Distillery (it's about a 12 minute drive). While in the area, we also discovered a great restaurant (another short drive), Lime Water. Check in was a little confusing due some doors temporarily blocked off due to unusually high winds, but overall, smooth process. Our room was a good size and clean. Only issue was the television would shut down every few minutes. Unfortunately, it was during the Olympics, so we missed some events. We used the text number for assistance and they responded with a few suggestions, but nothing worked. We ended up just shutting everything down, but found out customer service had texted us back the night before with an option to change rooms. Also, manager Ben S. followed up with us via email to make sure our experience was satisfactory. Very much appreciated his reaching out. We also had an early morning tour, so needed to grab a quick bite and check out fast. Complimentary breakfast items are okay - sufficient to keep you going and on your way. In my rush to check out, I left an item in my room. The service rep on the desk was very helpful in getting me access to the room without delay.

- Steven (4/5): - Room was nice , exactly what I wanted. Clean. Room above us was so loud. Literally stomped and jumped off bed for 4 straight hours. Went to the desk once, nothing was done. Went back at shift change, and the gentleman at the desk quickly apologized and went to handle the situation. Great place, horrible neighbors that night. Got to sleep by 1230 am for my 6 am. wake-up.

Breakfast was fine, certainly enough choices and what we had was good. Associates were friendly and helpful. Beds were comfortable. Missed the fresh baked cookies in the lobby in the evening This time we received a bag of cheese crackers at check in which was okay but the cookies were a real plus.

Beds were very uncomfortable. Pillows also not comfortable. Hardly slept due to that. Also had an issue with a worker walking into our room while we were changing.. did not feel comfortable with that ether...
- Helran (10/5): The staff is what makes it 5* - We stayed here with extended family for a wedding and couldn’t be happier. Nathan, Ben, and Jesse couldn’t do enough for us, they gave us a real Southern welcome! The hotel was extremely clean and comfortable. Water and coffee was always available, as well as a hot and cold breakfast buffet every day. Perfect location close to downtown, many distilleries, and restaurants. Don’t hesitate to stay!
- MericaGunlover (10/5): Couples Weekend - This was our second time staying at Home2 Suites in Frankfort, and we enjoyed our stay. The room and bathroom were clean, the staff was helpful, and the location is perfect. They also have the best breakfast we've had at a hotel. They even have biscuits, sausage, and egg made specifically for breakfast sandwiches. We will definitely stay here again during our next trip to the area.

- Sharon (6/5): - This is our favorite hotel in Frankfort. But it has declined since our last trip. Our room had a broken toilet seat lid, a faucet that needed repair, and a bathroom vent that didn’t work. The outside furniture was also run down. I hope they will improve the maintenance because, otherwise, it is a great place to stay. (Other than the overwhelming smell of cleanser as we walked in the front door—I hope they change that too.)
- Stephen (8/5): - The room was very clean, quiet & nice. The only issue I had was that the EV chargers kept going offline. I had to ask the front desk to check on them. Was hoping to charge to 100% overnight, but only got to 55%.
- Aaron (4/5): - Ultimately ended up staying here after a long day of travel and needing to get off the road. Called a few hours ahead of my arrival to inquire about the availability of any rooms, the staff member stated they had 1 more room left and the rate was $408. I then directly checked the website and saw a rate of $248. Ultimately ended up going with expedia since they had the lowest rate, not sure why I was about to get upcharged. Parking was very limited since they were sold out for the night, I was traveling with a trailer and inquired about any additional parking or areas I could park at. I was basically told to either park in the property parking lot, or check with property next door and ask if I can park in their lot but then I’ll be liable if any problems arise from me parking there. And if they say no then I’m basically out of luck. Very frustrating to hear after traveling all day. Got into the room and Discovered the thermostat on the wall was broken and didnt work, and the drain for the shower/tub was broken and was just laying on the floor of the tub. Not exactly the room or welcome I was expecting after a long day of traveling.

- Julianne (8/5): - We came for a trip down the bourbon trail. This was extremely convenient for the 3 we visited-Buffalo trace, four roses, and woodford reserve. It was right off the highway as well. The only thing I wish we’d known is the housekeeping/linen schedule/request. We got it ironed out though.

- Verified traveler (4/5): Not at all what they advertise - When we arrived Ben was very helpful. He greeted us with a smile and made the check in very pleasant. Unfortunately everything went downhill after that. The TV remote didn’t work. Ben tried to help but said he wouldn’t be able to get it resolved until the next day. The next day we went out for our Distillery tours expecting to come back to it working but no one had even came to the room, not even to freshen up the room. The person at the front desk for Saturday said there had been no passdown ahout the tv needing to be looked at. Ben mentioned there being a room that had issues with the tv and this new clerk mentioned it had happened to one other room before nit sounded like neither one was keeping track of what the room number was. Another guest listening said she had the same issue in her room. While asking for help the new clerk had his personal items-food, clothes, phone chargers and other items laying all the guest table instead of on the back break area. We decided to go check out the pool and the pool looked dingy. We got in hoping it was just an older pool but absolutely no chlorine smell at all…it almost smelled like mildew. We stayed in for about 15 minutes and just decided to get out. We then went up to take a shower and found hair from previous guests in the shower…on the walls, the floor and in the showerhead. Just overall a horrible experience. The only things we did feel were positive were the blackout curtains were the best we’ve seen and the breakfast.

- Kathy (10/5): - Only complaint is the TV doesn’t work unless you bring your own laptop to connect to the HDMI cable. Happened to us this trip as well as back in November at this property so it seems to be a running issue.
- Jim (10/5): - Ben was awesome. I didn't book two nights which is what I wanted. When on the Bourbon Trail the next day, Ben took care of the booking with no issues.

Nathan, at the front desk, went above and beyond to make our requests happen. - Mary (8/5): Thinking twice about next reservation - Over one hour wait before we could check-in. We were told it was because Hotels.com virtual card wouldn’t clear. Called Hotels.com customer service and was transferred to 5 different people!

- Elizabeth (10/5): Lovely, Comfortable, enjoyable. - This is one of the nicest hotels I have stayed at. And I have stayed at several others in Frankfort alone. It was extremely clean, all of the staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and one of the best continental breakfasts at a hotel. They were extremely accommodating of my service animal and made sure we were comfortable our entire stay there. Lighting, specifically at the desk area. It makes it difficult to do conference/video calls for work.

- Christopher (2/5): Hospitality in advertising only - First night realized King mattress was collapsed on one side only. Called front desk and they told us there would be no difference between any other rooms but offered to move us to a suite next door. This suite had a mattress in good condition but both suites showed significant structural damage to walls, corners and furniture. 2nd Suite smelled of sewer back up and was missing light bulbs in fixtures and remote control for TV. 2nd night complained at 1130PM to front desk of suite above playing their TV so loudly it woke us from our sleep. Called front desk a second time and visited them in person two more times by 1215 as there were no changes to the noise level. Final visit to front desk we were told by staff that we were welcome to contact the local police and file a noise complaint. Next morning well before checkout Television continuously lost contact with their satellite signal, cleaning crew attempted to enter our suite while we still occupied it and were changing for the day. Very unhappy with this visit and location. Don't get the impression they truly care about a safe and comfortable stay.

- B3072OUdavidr (10/5): Definite recommend - Arrived early and was easily accommodated with no hassle . Room was in great working order and comfortable. Felt the location was secure and bed was comfortable. The location was near some nice restaurants and overall convenient for our purposes for this trip.
- David (8/5): - The property is new and had well-lit parking. There were several things that didn't work that left a bad impression. One of the 2 elevators was out of service so the wait time was long. If you took the stairs the down, it left you outside the building. The-emergency exit door would not close so anyone could enter the building.

- E1481LZjustinc (2/5): had a great stay other than the two interactions I had with Ben spurlock, and his extremely rude un professional conduct - This was my Go to hotel In frankfort, and Hilton was my exclusive choice anywhere I went. Ben Spurlock has taken over the general manager position at the frankfort location and is downright criminal. Quoting the wrong price then charging the wrong credit card, then changing my discounted rate on check out day, claiming a remaining balance so I ask if I can get my receipts printed and deal with Hilton support and he said you leave the property without paying the balance were calling the police so I stay on property with support for 4 hours before they tell me I can leave as long as I continue to communicate with them, and he files a report with the sheriff anyway, then knowing the card on file that he charged when I told him that I needed to change it, he started pushing recurring payments through the card block to incur over limit fees. So as I go to dispute those I see that the initial charge that he quoted for my stay he didn't even charge to his hotel (Home2suites) he charged it to the Hampton Inn so what's really going on there. After he was rude to me evasive on fixing his mistake with the card in the first place, then calling my wife a liar when she told him she was on the phone with me when he quoted the price and charged the wrong card, and threatened me with police for his mistake I still was willing to meet him in the middle and agreed to pay the discounted rate the assistant manager gave me for all four nights in question I would pay it on the spot, he refused then started in with the malicious push charges. Nathan and Jesse and Denise were amazing but as long as Ben is running the place the 6-10 weeks I rented and or sponsored through church each year will be going elsewhere. As Hilton corporate updates my case I will add to my review

- sircampsa (10/5): Another excellent Home2 by Hilton - An almost-brand-new hotel, near I-64. Its good location, breakfast offerings, modern and comfortable facilities make it an attractive choice to stay when visiting or when traveling through Frankfort. It is one of the best choices among all hotels around I-64 between Lexington, KY and Louisville, KY. I highly recommend it.

- Harold (8/5): - The property was clean, we were told prior to arrival that we were close to town and in walking distance. The TV in the bedroom was not working during our three night stay. We had a light burned out in the bathroom which was quickly repaired. Staff was very friendly.

- Samantha (4/5): Lovely staff, but facility left something to be desired. - Staff were friendly and welcoming. My toilet was broken - would flush only every other time. I reported it to staff, but it was never fixed. I would flush the toilet, it wouldn't flush, I would have to stand and wait for it to stop running, and then flush again. I'm also disappointed that housekeeping service was only offered every other day. Lastly, my mattress was uneven so I woke up with back pain which was exacerbated when I tried to make my own bed - due to the lack of housekeeping service.

Some reviews say they like the beds so maybe it was our room… it felt like you were sleeping in the floor with a comforter over it. It was pretty clean. Staff was nice…. Because of the bed though we wouldn’t stay there again. It took a couple of days to recover. If you have someone above you, you can definitely hear them walking around.

The couch was very stiff made noise when I shifted, so hubby was distracted when trying to fall asleep but did love the sitting area as well as the mini kitchen and the shelving across the length of the room lots of area to keep our things off floor and organized.

- Francisco (10/5): Awesome - I normally stay in BnBs, but I'm so glad that I picked this hotel. It was clean, modern, and stocked well with all necessary items.The room was large and provided a lot of countertop space. The front desk staff was friendly and provided water bottles upon check-in and later checked in on us. Most importantly...it was quiet and I slept well. Nothing. It is a little pricey for a hotel, but worth it.
