• Adele (8/5): - Most affordable budget accommodation. I stayed in the private single and had the bathroom to myself as there was no one else in my section of the building. Staff were friendly and the overall vibe was good. Kitchen wasn't always clean but that's to be expected at a hostel.

• Georgia (8/5): Decent basic stay - Decent hostel, 10 min walk to the main town area/ town beach. Basic hostel but the staff were friendly Paper-thin walls, though curfew is 11pm so from then it was very quiet. Kitchen and communal areas were clean but could do with updating

• Stefan (7/5): Charmantes Hostel in attraktiver Lage mit schön gestaltetem Areal - Sehr charmantes Hostel in guter Lage, insgesamt sehr sauber, Check-In sehr unkompliziert über einen Automaten möglich, attraktives Areal Die Zimmer waren leider sehr hellhörig, die Türen auf dem Flur knallen mitunter sehr, wenn sie ins Schloss fallen. Ein kleines Nachtlicht im Zimmer wäre sehr zum Vorteil. Das Licht der Deckenlampe wirkt sehr kalt und grell.

Very unfortunate because I had to remove my stuff from fridge before leaving!! Then, I saw someone inside. I found another door on the side with a sign explaining how to get in after 5. pPlease put the SIGN, THE ONE EXPLAINING HOW TO GET IN, AT THE FRONT DOOR AS WELL. Please do it!!!

Cannot thank t - Best hostel we’ve stayed in with lovely facilities the most loveliest staff that make you feel so welcome and at home! Also in a great location with central walking distance and shops nearby. Plenty of beaches to explore along the coast and activities to do. Highly recommend the hostel and will be back to visit at some point!

• TURBAN (10/5): Parfait - Séjour vraiment au top ! L’auberge est très très propre, ce qui est vraiment appréciable. L’ambiance est calme, idéale pour se reposer. Le personnel est extrêmement accueillant et toujours disponible en cas de besoin. En plus, elle est très bien située, ce qui facilite les déplacements et les visites. Franchement, rien à redire, tout était parfait. Je recommande sans hésiter !

• Sahara (7/5): Supportive, compassionate community driven multi culturally diverse All ages welcome. - The facilities a activities and the community arts n homely vibes. Open to all age groups from young to elderly. The only thing was the room I stayed in smelling of a bad odour….and the blind on the window was the only form of privacy with it completely closed at all times, which was only way n unfortunate cos the natural light was missing n hallway lights were left on all night and it wasn’t very eco conscious in the court yard n came through. Sometimes music n movies. Ended up clashing n sounded like they were competing against each other,

The shared bathroom was in the dwelling the room was in and I think the other rooms were unoccupied when I was there (but others did use the bathroom in the morning). Also the keys process makes it very easy to not stress about when you’ll arrive if it’s late The room was small, as described. It was also pretty warm and the fan had considerable dust on the front vents. For someone who lives rurally there was a lot of light getting in the room: 3 blinds and big gaps around the door. It would be good if this could be improved. Other than that for a one night stay it was fine

• IOANNA KYRIAKI (9/5): - The people working there were super nice, it’s clean, the beds are comfortable and the kitchen fully equipped. The communal areas are great. It was pretty hard to get anywhere without a car, though that probably applies to Port Macquarie in general.

Creo que mas ideal para estancias cortas que largas Dicen que hay parking pero es muy chiquito. Asique tuvimos que estacionar en la calle. Pero no es un gran problema

• Alison (9/5): - Convenient to the event i was attending, facilities of room really great. Did not really utilise the kitchen or pool but the surrounds/ set up was really nice. Parking was not a problem. Would definitely stay again There was nothing i did not like. I did not encounter staff so can't comment on that, used the machine for key access but struggled to see, maybe a little step for the vertically challenged 🤣

• Sara (7/5): Ostello dalla bella atmosfera con camere singole carine - La mia camera singola era piuttosto pulita e in una casetta, dove erano localizzate altre due singole che usufruivano (assieme a me) di un bagno “privato”. Lo staff gentile e disponibile. Spazi comuni ampi, ben dotati e una bella piscina. La cucina comune (così come tutte le aree condivise e i bagni) viene pulita ogni giorno! In ca. 10-15 minuti a piedi si raggiungono sia un supermercato, la stazione degli autobus e la famosa coastal walk! Una cosa che potrebbe essere implementata: l’aggiunta di una “water refill station” - in alternativa ci sono delle caraffe Brita, quindi alla fine ce la si fa comunque!
