- Peter (9/5): Fantastic retreat, close to, but a great getaway from Annecy - The whole facility is like an alpine refuge - all in heavy pine timbers - and is seated high up overlooking fields and the distant alps. The 25 minute drive up from Annecy takes you through delicious alpine meadows far from the tourist infested medieval town. The room, all furnished in wood, with simple cabin-like features was comfortable and quiet. A cow and donkey were grazing on the field just above us. The breakfast was buffet style, served very casually with nice selections. There was an automatic coffee machine offering any kind of coffee or chocolate drink one wanted - and it was high quality. The best part was that you could take your breakfast out onto a covered terrace with an absolutely stunning view. If you're looking for sophisticated luxury, this is not for you, but if you appreciate stunning scenery in a rural setting with simple accommodations it is ideal. They have a dinner menu which we did not have time to try. N/A

- Kevin (10/5): An unforgettable stay - We had a fantastic stay here. Everything during our stay exuded quality. The friendly welcome, the nice room, the peaceful setting (far away from the hectic touristy areas but with a nice view from the balcony), the quality breakfast, the quality restaurant (amazing tartiflette)... quality is the key word here. Dog friendly, too. Flexible to come and go, parking right outside. You really feel like a welcomed guest here and not a number. We recommend 100%. Toilets are a little compact, but this is not abnormal in France.
- Frederique (9/5): Superb -
- Ekaterina (9/5): Superb -
- Odette (9/5): We had a wonderful stay with kind hosts - The family owned establishment was welcoming and very friendly, meals were good and the beers cold
- Anutaroz (10/5): Nice stay for calm travel - Nice stay for calm travel - there was so great view and silence. Very comfortable beds, everything that you need in kitchen. I highly recommend this place!
- Alicia (8/5): Very good -
- Kwok (8/5): Very good -
- Rangnitt (9/5): All in all very good - Meals excellent as arrived late
- Ken (8/5): Very good -
- Eltron7 (9/5): Superb - Nice balcony with outside seating. We added a breakfast which was nice The bathroom was just a little cramped but it was fine
- Lai (6/5): Pleasant -
- Sarah (7/5): Good -
- Stephanie (8/5): Very good -
- Luka (9/5): Superb - Excellent breakfast.
Quiet area.
Floor heating.
Plenty of parking space Owner/staff speaks minimal english, but the checkin is still simple.
- Frank (4/5): Could have slept cozier in a tent! €50 would be a better price, €84 is far too much! - It looks okay for a group of Boy Scouts, it should not be offered by BOOKING.COM we arrived at 7 p.m. The Auberge was pit dark inside and all around, NO ONE to welcome us. Then we found a message of Sabine that she couldn’t be there and we would find the key in the door of our room. we had to find this almost in the dark above a wooden stairway. The most simplest room is no good for any middle aged couple. Sabine also, instead of informing us simply that breakfast would be ready in the morning, posed the question to us if we “ needed breakfast” !! The best thing for us to do was to leave this empty place (no other persons there) in the morning as early as possible.
- Joana (7/5): Remote and simple rural hotel - The staff were really nice and friendly.
The balcony is nice - although no privacy to next door neighbour. The bathroom was too small. The fridge was off and closed, so not usable because all mouldy and stinky inside.
- Laura (6/5): Pleasant -
