• Augusto (7/5): Bene ma non troppo - Ottima posizione, camere silenziose, proprietario molto cordiale e disponibile, casa tipica ferrarese, bellissima idea di servire la colazione nella camera da pranzo della famiglia, sembrava di vivere un pezzo della storia di quest'ultima. Purtroppo ha lasciato a desiderare la colazione, nessuna proposta di bevande vegetale, cosa che nel 2026 è quasi obbligatoria, è stato molto piacevole il fatto che il proprietario mi abbia fatto trovare una pasta presa da un forno artigianale, però senza chiedermi se era di mio gusto o se volessi altro, capisco il periodo di bassa stagione, ma visto il prezzo non molto basso mi aspettavo qualcosa di più dal lato breakfast.

• Alessandro (9/5): Davvero un bel posto situato in centro vicino al Castello Estense e a a una pizzeria buonissima. - La colazione era organizzata molto bene, a base di una pasta fresca, succo di frutta, una bevanda calda e volendo anche dei toast con marmellata. Inoltre avviene in un salone al secondo piano bellismo che è come un museo e ha quel look vintage che viene da chiedersi come uno è finito a una cena con degli aristocratici. Filippo è veramente un host simpatico disponibile e cordiale. Consigliato. Quello che mi è piaciuto meno, ma forse per pura coincidenza di eventi in cui tutti utilizzavano bagno o doccia (e di solito ho sfortuna in queste coincidenze), non ho trovato l'acqua abbastanza calda.

• Michela (10/5): - Io e il mio ragazzo abbiamo soggiornato presso questa struttura solamente per due notti e devo dire che è stata una piacevolissima scoperta! La piccola stanza, arredata con gusto e attenzione, mostra un arredamento ricercato stile anni '40/'50; il bagno come anche la camera da letto sono molto puliti, ordinati e forniti di tutto il necessario, a disposizione anche un interessante libro su Ferrara contenente informazioni di vario genere (storiche, culinarie ecc). La sala della colazione ricorda un tipico salotto di casa arredato con quadri e oggetti pregiati e antichi. La colazione viene servita al tavolo ed è molto varia: una peculiarità interessante è il loro yogurt, buonissimo e sembra una crema ! Il padrone di casa si è sempre mostrato disponibile, gentile e preparato: lo stesso non ha mai mancato nel rendersi disponibile quando necessario e ha riferito indicazioni e informazioni chiare e precise su come godere al meglio della città nonostante il poco tempo a nostra disposizione. Se dovessimo tornare a Ferrara, sicuramente soggiorneremo presso questa struttura!

• Piras (9/5): Una bellissima scoperta - Ho passato quattro notti presso la Locanda Borgonuovo per motivi di studio; era anche la mia prima volta a Ferrara. La locanda è meravigliosa ed è a due passi dal Castello d'Este, posizione veramente suggestiva e comoda come base per esplorare la città. L'ingresso, la camera singola dove ho alloggiato, la sala per la colazione e il cortile-giardinetto interno sono ognuna una piccola perla da scoprire, per arredamento, atmosfera e comfort. La pulizia giornaliera della camera è stata più che soddisfacente. Inoltre, la via dove si trova la locanda è silenziosa; non ultima, anche la colazione non ha lasciato a desiderare. Filippo, il proprietario, è una persona squisita e cortese che vi accompagnerà alla scoperta di Ferrara con indicazioni e consigli; per qualsiasi necessità o per una chiacchiera a colazione, potrete sicuramente contare su di lui. Se dovessi tornare a Ferrara, alloggerei di nuovo alla Locanda senza alcun dubbio. Un grande grazie, a presto!

• Jean Noel (10/5): - Un séjour « comme à la maison » ! Cela tombe bien on est justement dans une maison, habitée par une famille charmante, sympathique et pleine de bons conseils. Les chambres sont parfaites, de même que la localisation. Bref : parfait pour visiter Ferrara et même plus : parfait pour en faire sa base arrière pour visiter la région.
• Aguyfrombristol (8/5): Ancient building in the old city - This was a top-floor apartment next to the main Locanda. A very old building in a very central location. Our host was a busy man, while being very helpful to his guests. Free bikes, in the most bike-friendly city in Italy. Some people have complained that the apartment's fixtures and fitting were old fashioned, but that was part of its charm. Breakfast was Italian-style, i.e. coffee and sweets, although the host can provide ham and cheese on request.

La stanza pulita, accogliente, silenziosa A colazione siamo state coccolate con una torta allo yougurt fatta in casa. Il proprietario gentile, disponibile, discreto, appassionato della sua dimora dove ha creato una sorta di piccolo museo di tantissimi oggetti antichi. Torneremo con gioia in questa struttura. • Oliver (8/5): Isolated property, nice if you need peace and quie - Nice out of the way place with bushwalks from the property, need a car though and not much english spoken by anyone when we were there. Nothing to do there apart from bushwalks, did not see any animals except the dog.
• Verified traveler (8/5): Charming, family-run Locanda - Choose a room in the locanda if you can. We had to have an apartment in the adjoining building for the first night. Functional and ideal if you are travelling as a group and need two bedrooms. The second night we had a room in the Locanda which we preferred as it had charm. Excellent communication throughout and a warm welcome on arrival.
