Owners are the most hospitable people and nothing is too much for them to assist. Really loved Sitatunga and will most definitely use again. Our room could do with a bit better external access to pool. Very minor point.

Had issues with iron, ironing board and a broken side table which were fixed promptly. In addition aircon failed and we were without electricity for 12 hours as prepaid meter wasn't topped up in time. I didn't initially report as thought it was a power failure. Was resolved promptly once reported.

- Emmanuelle (9/5): Private little Guest House in Johannesburg - The Rhino Room was so comfortable and the breakfast was delicious (buffet + choice of eggs). The staff was very kind, they let me stay the whole day before my evening flight even though I should have checked-out in the morning. They offer a shuttle service from and to the airport (but it is more expensive than an Uber).
- Maira (10/5): Wunderschöne & saubere Lodge mit nettem Personal und sehr gutem Preis-Leistungsverhältnis - Am Anfang und am Ende unserer Rundreise durch Südafrika, Simbabwe & Botswana haben wir je eine Nacht in der Sitatunga Lodge verbracht. Von allen Unterkünften, in denen wir in den drei Wochen übernachtet haben, war diese hier aus unserer Sicht die schönste. Es ist ein kleines Paradies im trubeligen Johannesburg. Die Räume, die Gemeinschaftsflächen sowie der Poolbereich und Garten sind gepflegt, liebevoll eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Das Personal ist ausgesprochen nett und das Frühstück, das individuell für jeden zubereitet wird, sehr lecker. Die Gegend scheint zudem sicher zu sein. Ein großer Supermarkt sowie verschiedene Restaurants sind fußläufig (ca. 20 min) erreichbar. Wir sind diesen Weg mehrere Male tagsüber gegangen, ohne uns unsicher zu fühlen. Auch der Flughafentransfer hat sehr gut funktioniert. Also, absolute Empfehlung. -

The property is very relaxing after a long day of travel/work. Every room has a patio with table and chairs for reading/relaxing. Room/shower is very clean and comfortable. The design/decoration was very well thought out and unique/chique. Breakfast is fresh and healthy. Besides toast, fresh fruit, yogurt, pastries and coffee, they had an option of ordering a hot breakfast to be prepared on the spot. The kitchen is fully furnished hence one can also bring their own groceries and cook. The wifi connection wasn’t very strong. Noice can be heard from adjacent room.
