Great room, comfortable bed & plenty of seating in the room. Good selection of tea, coffee & bottled water. On site parking is a big plus. Staff are amazing, nothing too much trouble. Excellent breakfast and dinner Can't fault it, thank you.

• Sarah (10/5): A calm, welcoming place to stay in a beautiful part of the country. - The Middle House had the ideal combination of attention and privacy. Everything we needed was provided in the room and additional information had been given before we got to our room. We felt it would have been easy to ask for anything else if we needed it. We'd booked to have dinner at The Middle House and the food was beautifully presented and delicious. There was a quiet, calm, and friendly atmosphere in the dining area. There were a few noisy children in the bar area, next to the restaurant, but they were soon controlled by their parents, so the disturbance didn't last long.

Superb breakfast and nothing was too much trouble.c I would not change anything and would certainly recommend it.
• Nigel (10/5): Perfect stay and excellent central location - Travelled to Askrigg by Van , with my motorcycle in the back to visit Excellent warm reception , the hotel was very well kept with most furniture like new , wonderful decor in very good order , room was on second floor so had a free exercise period each time , very quiet, nice and warm with fully adjustable radiator giving out very good heat in the bedroom and bathroom, with was a nice size and nicely decorated. Very good shower ,immediate hot water , lovely comfortable and warm bed . Breakfast was perfect with buffet area for cereals , fruit , yogurts and porridge available to order , choice of full breakfast , vegan , or combinations of eggs , beans , salmon and all cooked to perfection, thank you . Very well located for the butter tub pass , Tern hill inn, Ribbledale viaduct, Wensleydale creamery (excellent cheese and demonstration of cheese making) had a visit to The station , watched the film Mothers Pride , fantastic scenery , lovely people , thank you Nothing
• Evelyn (9/5): Fantastic location with walks on your doorstep! - Expect a friendly welcome from all staff and warm and cosy rooms. Lots of space for dogs in the bar & a separate dining area too. Enjoyed the Askrigg Ale! Breakfast is lovely - lots of choice with local produce. Highly recommend

The food was delicious, both breakfast which was included, and additional evening meal. The bar was warm and cosy with excellent beer. The staff were welcoming and friendly, going above and beyond to make our stay perfect. Our room was delightful with an exceptional view over the Yorkshire dales. Although the car park was a squeeze, there was ample parking for all guests. I couldn’t recommend the hotel more!
