Guest Reviews
- Gina (10/5): - Have to remember that this is a cabin, nothing, too fancy, is a great place to stay if you’re going to Worlds of Fun. Staff was helpful and friendly. I feel it is a little pricey for what you get.
- Robert (10/5): - Cabin was clean and bigger than expected.
- James (10/5): - Place is awesome clean cabin. Easy check in just a great place to stay
- Cassandra (10/5): Fun and relaxing - We had a wonderful time staying at the cottages with family and friends for a one night get away. We would stay again even if not attending the park. The outdoor grill and patio were a plus and our younger girls loved being able to roast marshmallows and our older kids really enjoyed the the Haunt. It was fantastic to see so many smiles!
- Lacey (8/5): - The cottages at the Worlds of Fun Village were in good condition, clean, and had ample room for two families.
- John (10/5): - The place is nice and quiet with plenty of parking as well as access to the theme park.
- Elvia (10/5): - The place is clean, quiet, and there are restaurants nearby
- Eric (8/5): - The cabin deck wasn’t really cleaned up to well but other then that over all was a good stay
- Ronda (6/5): - They shut the water park down and never notified us of they we rented the cabin to go to water park
- Jessica (4/5): - We had the reservation booked for weeks. When we got to the property literally everything was closed (even the front desk). After driving 6 hours the entire park was dark and the front desk was not marked well. We spent half a hour trying to figure out how to even check into our cabin. Finally we found the office with a sign on it to call secuirty to check in. Took them about 15 minutes to come check us in. Then found out the park was closed except for weekends. We improviced and went somewhere else friday just to get back to the cabin and find out they had closed the pool at 5pm because there was no emt on site. Spend 3 hours trying to find other accomidations. Ticket prices for the park says as low as 29.99 but when u go to buy them they are 44.99. The entire place was nothing but a scam and ruiened our vacation which also happened to be the vacation that my boyfriend proposed. Would NOT recommend!
- Angela (8/5): - Great location when visiting Worlds of Fun
- jodi (10/5): - I liked the patio and how cold the ac was when we first got into the hotel. Only thing I didn’t like was there was no direct number on the phone to call the front desk and there was no bedding for the cot. Other than that we definitely enjoyed our stay.
- Carrissa (6/5): - Close to Worlds of Fun & Oceans of Fun had nice swimming pool!
- Michael (10/5): - Customer Service. Supported late Check in!
- Jesse (8/5): - It was nice walking distance to the park.
- Casey (8/5): - Was exactly what I had in my mind. Stayed in cabin with husband and three teens for three nights. Perfectly located next to park. Enjoyed the patio in the mornings
- Courtney (10/5): - The cabin we stayed in was cute & cozy.
- Demetrie (10/5): - We went to World of Fun Village for a family trip and had such an amazing time! We enjoyed everything, great area and right next to World of Fun! We'll definitely be back!! Wonderful service!!
- Mike (10/5): Fun stay! - We stopped through here on our way to California. We didn’t visit the amusement park, but we have a big family and needed a comfortable place to sleep. This worked out great. It was really fun to have the paths to walk at night, lots of big bullfrogs for the kids to see in the ponds. It was a fun stay. Lots of critters running around the property that my kids loved.
- Mohammed (2/5): - Broken lights, broken toilet, smell nasty inside the room. Worst experience ever. I had to contact management twice four hours later no one showed up. End up leaving and book in a different place. Do not book in worlds of fun village.
- LaShay (10/5): - Great place!!!
- Amy (10/5): - We had a fun time!
- Valerie (10/5): - Amazing all around
- DAWNA (4/5): - Our heater didnt work so after 5 hours of it getting colder (april visit) they moved us to another cabin which the tvs disnt work. And no one felt the need to compensate for any of it. My daughter had a terrible birthday and i cried in the car.
- John (10/5): - Great check in. Wonderful staff. Beautiful rental. 👍
- Verna (8/5): - Great price and location
- Trevor (8/5): - My family enjoyed our stay here. The cabins are a little dated, but overall clean and seemed to be kept well. We'll stay here again on our next trip to KC!
- Terry (10/5): - It was very nice and so convenient to be so close to the park.....our son loved the little lake with frogs in it in the middle of the cabins
- Misti (10/5): - My family and I loved staying at the WOF Village Family Cabins. The staff was wonderful, the cabins were perfect for our needs and clean. There was an additional sleeping area if we wanted to bring more friends for the kids as well. The pond and area around our cabin was beautiful and serene. It was a bonus knowing they had security on site as well. We will definitely stay here again and recommend others do the same.
- Malissa (10/5): - Stay here at least once a year convenient location to the park
- Jacob (8/5): Super cute and cozy - The cabin was super cute and cozy, however lights above the table were hanging out of their canisters. The beds were very firm which wasn't bad. Overall it was very clean and the office lady was super nice. There were quite a few skunks running around behind our cabin and the neighbors cabin but for the most part they left us alone. Parking right in front of the cabin was awesome. Would stay again.
- ARTHUR (10/5): - Perfect for a group of 6. Very cute place that had all you needed. One suggestion would be a few more pillows. Three pillows for 6-8 is tough. Will stay again!
- Jennifer (8/5): - For going to WoF or OoF this property can’t be beat, it’s super nice to be able to walk in and out of the park. Cottage was clean, AC worked great, employees were friendly. It’s a little old and could use some minor updates.
- Mary (6/5): - Terrible amenities and communications
- Mike (8/5): - Cottage was nice size and accommodated my larger sized family. Check in went well and they worked through getting me refunded parking for WOF park as this was included in stay.
- Richard (6/5): Good stay, no amenities - Stayed 5 days, ran out of toilet paper the first night and had to supply it ourselves the rest of the trip. Towels were never replaced and trash was only removed from the bin outside. Need more air flow to loft
- Melissa (10/5): Beautiful cabin - The cabins were lovely and clean. I will say they're not great for people over 6 feet tall (low clearance in cabin, esp the shower) but we made do. Other than that our stay was great.
- Samantha (10/5): - Staying in the cabins was absolutely beautiful!!! Most definitely would stay again
- Dee (10/5): Fun at Worlds of FUN... - Our stay was perfect except for the heat.
- Brandi (10/5): - This property is 40 years old and still maintained as if it was new yesterday. We have stayed here eveytime we come to WOF and OOF. Its a great property and well cared for.
- Cathy (10/5): - There was a terrible storm the night we stayed at Worlds of Fun Village, which is out of their control. Tornado sirens did go off but our unit did remain intact. Power went out for a few seconds but it came back on and stayed on. I don’t know for sure if any damage to the Worlds of Fun / Oceans of Fun park was incurred at this time.
- Kathryn B (10/5): - Everything was simple & easy
- Donna (10/5): - The property was very nice and the people was very nice. We plan on going again next year.
- Kristi (10/5): - What a gem this place is. I found it when searching for motels & took a chance on it. They are 1 bedroom cabins that have a queen bed & bunk beds. Living room area has a futon where 2 more people could sleep. Small fridge, microwave, table with 4 chairs, tv, nice deck. Bathroom is small but absolutely functional. Should I ever need to stay in KC again, I’ll be booking here.
- Hope (8/5): - Relax
- Tonnell (6/5): - Nice but not what I expected. We didn't have any hot water. Staff responded asap It was an inconvenience but Staff made it please
- Khimberly (10/5): - It's so close to the places we wanted to visit.
The Worlds and Ocean of FUN and Kansas Chiefs home.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Nice and quiet. Cute little place. Not the cleanest. Found chips on the top bunk. Great staff. The actual lines for the amusement park were ridiculous. 2 hour wait.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - We love staying in the Worlds of Fun cottages. It clean and comfortable and fits our family with ease. It’s close access to the park makes the stay more feasible for the whole family.
- Danielle (10/5): Fun Family Time - Wished I could find another date to go but it seems like there always full... 💖💖💖 Staying there
