The taj next door was cheaper and the buffet was more elaborate, poor serving and options, was very generic. food was very sad and expensive. Also, according to the staff, pet friendly property means that the dog cannot sit outside and even with pet parents cannot take him to any open dining space, as it was not allowed too, so ideally, total waste of money.

- Robert (8/5): grat service and helful stakk. - Beautiful location and Great rooms. The resort is in the foothills of the Himalayas, a nice and peaceful resort. With great staff. But this resort has piped music playing 24 7 Loud piped music of some flute or pipe decryption which repeats every 4 to 5 mins it drives you nuts ...the staff know this is a problem and will gladly turn in down or off late at night. I had to ask 4 times but staff change and every morning its back on at 7.30 am... not sure why this is a required in such a Beautifull location.

But this is acceptable considering most guests are Indian. The bed is cloud-like 2 BIG PLUS - the Tattva Wellness Spa is excellent with skilled staff, thanks to Angeli! - a big thank you to Nipen Kalita, for his support in helping us book our safari tours ! Only to be nitpicking: if you do a safari, some zones are further away and will require a longer journey to get there

The food was stale n they were forcing us to buy their buffet!!Their reasoning - your food would take 30 mins to prepare so eat from the buffet!

- Dhanoa (6/5): It was a nice stay. - The location is good, food is good. The high-tea in the evenings are an added feature. The housekeeping needs to be more trained. Maybe the hotel is still new. But they need a proper check on the staff to ensure that they clean the shower cabins also when they clean the room. The rooms did not feel fresh after they cleaned up everyday. Though it was clean when we walked in but the subsequent cleaning rach day was not upto the mark.

- Amitabh (9/5): Over a decent and pleasent stay - Simple , clean, lovely location. Great high tea and service by all staff was excellent. Dinner was really good quality. And the bar had a nice singer and well located next to ricer side. Bed wasnt too comfortable on the back too springy and one just sunk in. Maybe good for others but not comfortable for me at all. Music was too noisy at high tea and spoilt the serene silence. Morning breakfast was sub par quality not worth it.

- Kv (9/5): Memorable stay. My kids loved it. - Best part was the river front area. All security personnels were exceptionally good and were good in interaction. love to talk with them. Pool was good. My kids loved it. Evening snacks were always looked forward. Over and above the bunch of mangoes in trees.. Overall Food experience could have been better. All the support people were trying their best but I feel sitting capacity was limited.

But not as good as the images posted online...so keep your expectations down if at all you go there... my recommendation will be to skip this one... the staff and service is below average.. the management would try their level best to say no to whatever you ask for... also their are a hell lot of monkeys and they do get aggresive as well. during our stay a poor couple had a harrowing experience as a group of 30-40 monkeys surrounded them and their poor terrified little kid.. hotel staff ofcourse conveniently did not turn up despite shouting and yelling... so pl go at your own risk. also dont expect to get anything to eat if you skip the usual lunch time.. kitchen opens only part time despite being a 4 star property.. so all in all you can skip this one...given the prices they charge there are way better options available...

The swimming pool area and shower rooms were not cleaned regularly. Dry towels are not provided by the pool side. Food quality could have been much better. Welcome drink wasn't cold enough and too sweet. Some items that were ordered from Room-service took more than half an hour, before being delivered.

- Anubhat (9/5): Overall Amazing!! - [Location] The huge resort is right on the foothills, and in the center of Ramnagar. [Food] The food quality was good and they had beautiful high tea setting on the riverside with live music every evening. It was just out of a scenery. [Riverside] The fact that we could walk down to the river whenever we wanted and sit there for hours was mesmerising. [Greenery] The gardens are huge and so well maintained!! [Room] Huge and so comfortable! Cleanliness was also up to mark! Just 1 thing - The breakfast buffet spread could be better and the restaurant needs an overhauling. It does not match the look feel and quality of the overall stay.
