- Sofia (8/5): Budapest centrum get away - Selve lejligheds komplekset var meget gammel og slidt. Men selve værelserne har en god størrelse, en lille lav seng men god. Badeværelse og toilet rigtig fint og god størrelse. Dog kraftigt duft sf parfume og/eller vaskepulver/middel i gangen og på værelset. Lokationen er helt perfekt både til lufthavns Shuttle bus og i gå afstand til Donau og centrum.

- Verified traveler (8/5): - As i seen on previous reviews check in wasn't the easiest especially when arriving late on the night the addresses doesn't take you to the location so left going around in circles ! After asking locals for help finally got there to be told apartment is 5 min walk away which was fine for us but might not be great if you was arriving late with children etc. Apartment was clean and as photos only downside is there was a terrible smell, they had plug in airfreshners in every room but still didn't cover it! Wifi didn't work on arrival but next day managed to find member of staff who resolved this. Overall enjoyed the stay just slightly let down by the bad smell!

- Verified traveler (8/5): Perfect location and decoration, window only one. - It was a very good experience, the room was recently renovated and well decorated. The location was perfect, in the centre of the town and very close to the restaurants and bars area. The only disadvantage was that the apartement had only a window, which was in the patio in the back side. Generally, the decoration and the location were perfect.

- Verified traveler (4/5): - I did not like the fact that the bed linen and the duvet were not rince properly.When i was touching them my hand smell a strong odour of washing powder,and it went into contact with my eyes and whole face.The smell made me dizzy and I had to sleep with the window open in November,but it did not help much.When I lied down on the bed just after entering the room I noticed that, and I immediately gave a phone call to the person in charge to see if they had some properly rinced bed linen as the smell and the chemical were toxic and irritating.They answer very abruptly that nothing could be done and that I was the first person to mention that, and they hang up.I did not sleep the whole night , I felt sick and I had sore eyes, one of my worst hotel stay ever.The worste is that I signaled the issue and they did nothing, they could have told me ,:" we cancel your reservation ,give you a refund and you can found an other hotel .I have been taken hostage of a situation that damaged my health , my sleep, and I could say nothing. I am not happy at all ,and in the future I will use other means than your website to found an hotel room

There are nice places to eat (Thai and Hungarian) on the same street plus a convenient shop at the corner. The property itself is an old building that is undergoing some renovation but there was never any loud noise disturbing our peace in the evening or very early in the morning. The street is relatively busy so it's safe to walk even late as there are people sitting outside in the cafes.The room that we stayed in was not the room that was on the picture but if was clean, had the most important appliances such as kettle, toaster and microwave so it was ok. Simple, decorated mostly with Ikea things so pleasant enough! Overall we had a nice stay!!
- Robin (10/5): Lovely clean and very good value - The room was immaculate and very comfortable. The location was right by subway, buses and the hop on hop off bus. I wish there had been more instructions as to the address and how to get the key. It was very confusing. We almost couldn’t find the apartment. We accidentally ran into one of the company staff who helped us find the Apartment. The staff was very helpful and professional. There was a small room tax we had to pay at the property with local currency. So be sure and have some local currency with you even if you pay your Hotels.com bill with credit card.

Thought I was not happy with the how they promote they property to get the booking and then clandestinely put you up in another location. Has a mini kitchen with portable gas stove, kettle and microwave complete with cutlery and bowls. Bed linen, toilets, showers were clean. Towels were provide. No toiletries so need to bring your own. Room has air conditioning and heating. Location: was not the same location as listed in Expedia or google maps. 5-10min extra walk from google maps. A guy met up with us and walked us to the apartment. Would have been nice if they were upfront with location. Location in general was still ok. Close to food trucks and ruin bars. Was able to drop off luggage on check out day until 5pm. Only had one key available to share between multiple people. I would stay there again. Great value.

In the apartment (bathroom) the smell of the drains is awful and there should be some bleach available. The property is in a good location.

- Verified traveler (6/5): - Si votre but est de venir faire la fête à Budapest c'est l'endroit idéal ! situé dans la rue des bar vous êtes à l'endroit parfait ! si vous venez pour visiter la ville et souhaiter donc vous reposer passez votre chemin ! l'appartement est situé dans un immeuble délabrer en cours de travaux la première impression fait peur, mais l'appartement était juste rénové et en très bon état seul une odeur venant de la douche (pas de siphon ?) vient noircir un peu le tableau. Mais n'espérez pas dormir avant 4h du matin ! malgré le double simple vitrage, le bruit des fêtards présents juste en bas vous empêchera de passez une bonne nuit. l'accueil est situé à 15 minutes à pieds des appartements est très bon.

Die Dame die uns aufgeschlossen hat war sehr nett, aber man muss sie wirklich anrufen!! Es war etwas missverständlich dass sie uns vorher SMS geschickt hatte. Das Bett war leider echt sehr hart, was auch kein Wunder ist, da statt einem Lattenrost nur eine Spanholzplatte unter der Matratze liegt. Nach 3 Tagen hatten wir schon genug von dem Bett. :D Aber die Lage war dafür wirklich hervorragend! Überall Restaurants, Bars und Clubs direkt vor der Tür!

- laszlo (8/5): - As we arrived at the address we dialed the phone number posted on the building, It rang but no one answered. We had no cell phone and had to ask a person to call for us, He did so and the girl arrived within 10 minutes and took us to our room,

The only issue was the advert stating you got an iron in the room which we had then ask for and did not get until the next day and the hair dryer in the room cutting out and not coming back on on the last day. This aside I would definitely stay there again! Daniel who gave us our keys was very friendly and gave us discount on a hop on hop off bus tour which I would definitely recommend buying through us. Overall a good experience!

- Verified traveler (8/5): Great little place but get check in instructions - Great location near many of the main sights, tour bus stops and eateries. Gorgeous little apartment, perfect for a short stay. Check in was problematic - wrong address on hotels.com site and no check in instructions were received. When we were given directions to the correct building we had to call hotels.com to get in touch with the agency as there was no signage to where we were supposed to go. When their agent arrived he was very helpful but evidently flustered. Our booking got mixed up with another group and we had to wait for some time before we could settle into our room. Then we were told we needed to pay in cash which fortunately we had to hand. Otherwise you would have had to get cash from the ATM downstairs. This was the only problem but worth mentioning for other travellers. Check out was smoother - you could leave your luggage at their main offices and staff were helpful.
- Bruna (4/5): Não recomendo!!!!! - Primeiro de tudo: atente-se de que não se trata de um hotel, mas sim de uma empresa que aluga apartamentos. Logo, o endereço que aparece como sendo o do “hotel” NÃO É!! É o endereço de um suposto ponto de encontro, que nada mais é do que uma placa (mínima) na frente de um prédio com um número de telefone, apenas. Se você chegar antes das 14:00 (horário do checkin), a partir desse “ponto de encontro”, terá que andar uns 500m com suas malas pelas ruas até chegar a um escritório que fica em endereço NÃO INDICADO na descrição do “hotel”. Só consegui descobrir esse endereço do escritório para deixar as malas, pois tive a ajuda de um abençoado pedestre que me emprestou seu telefone no meio da rua e me possibilitou ligar para o telefona da micro placa. Outro ponto importante é que você aluga o tal apartamento, mas não sabe ao certo o endereço do mesmo! Sabe apenas a região. Quando chegamos no prédio dos nossos apartamentos, ficamos até com medo de entrar, prédio muito velho, apesar de a área dos apartamentos da empresa ter sido renovada. Nao recomendo!!!! Muita falta de informação e muito trabalho com as malas, sair carregando as mesmas pelo meio das ruas...encontramos outros hóspedes perdidos no meio da rua, procurando o endereço há mais de meia hora, sem saber onque fazer.

- valérie (4/5): Décevant - Ce n’est pas un hôtel mais des chambres/studios gérés par une société dont les bureaux sont à 10min à pied. L’adresse indiquée sur la fiche n’est pas bonne, elle sert juste à indiquer le quartier et est entre les bureaux et les appartements. Pour l’enregistrement il faut arriver à joindre l’accueil et attendre leur venue (30min dans mon cas au total). En cas de problème, personne entre 18h et 9h... le luggage room est situé au bureau et soumis à leurs horaires. L’immeuble est situé en plein quartier juif, connu pour son activité nocturne de toutes sortes (restos, bars et clubs réservés aux hommes). Donc avec un appartement au 1er étage, beaucoup de bruit la nuit et le vitrage ne filtre pas grand chose, sans oublier l’absence de rideaux occultants. Il faut oublier l’idée d’une nuit récupératrice. L’accès se fait par le couloir en longeant les poubelles de l’immeuble, qui est aussi lieu de vie de Hongrois, puis par un escalier où il faut s’éclairer avec portable car lumière introuvable au rdc Chambre rénovée récemment donc propre et cosy, avec le minimum de base. C’est pour ça que je modère ma note à 2/5 au lieu du 1/5 Avant le séjour ils insistent pour connaître les détails de votre arrivée (ce qui s’explique par leur organisation) et pour vous vendre leur transfert aéroport à 28€ le trajet (pour 1 à 4 pax), ce qui est exorbitant quand on sait que le bus express direct est à 300m à l’arrivée et 500m au départ pour 3€ le trajet je finis déçue de ce choix

- Katie (8/5): Comfortable but uneasy stay - Comfortable apartment, close to all amenities but area felt unsafe at night. The company provided the incorrect address and were not there to greet us with the keys at our time of arrival which they requested beforehand. Other people in neighbouring apartments were very noisy and often at night we found homeless men in our doorway wanting to enter the apartment block.

En revanche la chambre n est pas à l adresse indiquée et nous avons mis 1h15 à entrer en contact avec quelqu un. Pour les prochains, l adresse indiquée sur le site donne sur une porte close (3/c) indiquant un numéro de téléphone. Le numéro n a pas fonctionne pour nous et nous sommes tombés sur une personne de l agence qui nous a renvoyé vers une seconde personne pour nous emmener à l appartement. Je déconseille le système pour familles avec enfants en bas âge.

Budapeşte de kalınacaksa kesinlikle yeri net olan bir otel bulmak lazım. İnsanları yabani soruyu sormadan ben bilmiyorum deyip kaçıyorlar. Polisi bile aynı şekilde ben ingilizce bilmiyorum deyip yardımcı olmuyor olana da engel oluyor. Hostel mantığı çok garip. Resepsiyonu yok. Muhattap bulmak için bayağı uğraşıyorsunuz. Tavsiye etmiyorum kısacası.

Grei kjøkken, kjøleskap og liten spise plass men leiligheten ligger veldig sentralt og masse restaurant rundt så trenger mann egentlig ikke kjøkken. Behjelpelig og hyggelig personal. Anbefales:)

- Verified traveler (4/5): - The property looks run down from the outside, you have to walk through the foyer with rubbish bins that smell. Once through that the apartments are lovely. The smell from the bins lingers unfortunately and the beds are uncomfortable. You have to book in at a different office and be walked a distance away with your suitcases and the staff were not that helpful.
- Jose Valdir (2/5): Insatisfação - Foi muito difícil encontrar o Hotel, já que não era um Hotel como conhecemos, não tinha recepção nem funcionários nos esperando para podermos guardar as malas enquanto esperávamos para fazer o check in, o endereço não é claro nem preciso. Ficamos na rua esperando uma pessoa chegar às 14:30h (o check in era 14h) para podermos ter acesso ao prédio, através de uma chave e um código, era um Edifício comercial e residencial, lá dentro tinha os apartamentos do Holidays Fashion, nenhuma limpeza foi feita durante os quatro dias que estivemos lá, faltou papel higiênico e tivemos que comprar, o contato com o pessoal do escritório era complicado e o sinal de Wi-Fi era ruim. A única coisa boa foi a localização de resto foi péssimo não indicamos para ninguém. Na minha opinião o Hoteis.com deve retirar esse hotel da categoria de Hotel, já que são apartamentos para alugar por temporada, foi isso que entendemos. Em momento nenhum recebemos alguma informação (e-mail ou msm) relatando alguma orientação sobre nossa estadia nesse local, se soubessemos que era dessa forma, certamente não teriamos feita a reserva.

It is centrally located in the jewish quarter where you can walk to famous sites, restaurants, bars, etc. In 5 days there we only used public transport once because everything was reachable by walking. The room itself was sparkling clean and stylish.

Not suitable if you want peace and quiet but ideal if you want to feel the Budapest's vibes. The staff was friendly and well organised, easy check in and out. No smoking at the property, but if you are usually smoking there is no place to smoke but on the street in front of the building.

Transportation links are very close as well so it makes the transfer from the airport to the location dead easy. The neighbourhood is lovely and offers a wide array of eateries. The only fault is that the neighbourhood is a bit busy and it can be a bit noisy at night

- G.A. (10/5): Great apartment in a great location - Great little apartment in a great location to get around Budapest. Perfect for a short trip to the city. Though the front of the building is on a main road the apartment itself faced a rear courtyard and was incredibly quiet.

- Joseph (6/5): Acceptable, but... - Acceptable for four nights. The apartment was well stocked and clean but the building block was eerie and there was a smell of damp in the room. Inconvenient not having a reception. We had to wait outside for 15 minutes until Daniel came to open for us even though we used their shuttle service which was more expensive than the transport offered at the airport. He was very apologetic and also very helpful in booking for us the Hop On Bus and the Horse Show. There was some mixup with the booking which they tried to blame us for it and a girl at the office was rude with us.

She was very accommodating to show the property, which was small, but clean and comfortable. I choose the place because of the location and it didn't disappointed. I would recommend this place to friends.

The kitchen was tiny, but had everything that you would need to prepare a meal! I would defenitely stay again and can recommend it with all my heart.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Had we not had a disastrous arrival, it would have been a 5 star rating. The apartment was modern, clean and in a great location. However, it was massively let down our first night. The policy stated that we must let the hotel know 48hrs in advance of our arrival time- ours was around 2am. I emailed the hotel 2 weeks before and was informed that due to our arrival time, there was a £25 fee (even though the booking confirmation said 10). When we arrived to the appartment at 2:30am we called the number that was on the sign to let them know we were there. A long story short, there had been no communiation of our prior email to the hotel about our arrival time and we were forced to repeadly call and WhatsApp someone until they woke up to come and let us in. When she arrived, she was apologetic but it was very insincere and she made reference to the fact that she was in bed a few times. We got into our apartment at 3:45am after waiting outside on a bench in a city we had never been to before- it was not a great start!! We were then asked to pay the hotel tax and the late check in fee. We refused to pay the late check in fee due to the fact we had been sat outside waiting for the host to arrive. She had also made us aware that she had in fact cancelled our reservation as we ‘hadn’t turned up’ in the day time- even though I had already made our arrival time very clear. This did set our holiday off to a bad start due to a lack of communication between them all.

- Arujnee (4/5): Go elsewhere - Don't do it. Check out office is far away from actual location of stay. Checkout closes at 5, so you cannot keep your luggage there after the checkout time of 10am, beyond 5 pm. You waste a lot of time going there to give the keys. Our flight was delayed and we got there after 1am and they charged us 15euros per person. We might as well have paid more for a posh hotel with 24 hour check in. There was no hot water the first day. I showered in cold water. The apartnent is comfortable but that is about it. We waited outside the apartment the first day with no way of getting into the building and no way og getting in touch with anyone because there was no internet connection, and thecperson was not there when we arrived. We waited in a cafe, connected to wifi, then contacted the person on watsapp. Too her another 40 minutes to get there. We got into our room after 2am! Choose a hotel where check in and check out are at the same location! The people at checkout were brusque, not friendly.

- Margaret (8/5): Outside not so good, inside very nice! - A difficult review as the apartment was very nice, however the building was shabby and difficult to locate. The hotel name (Budapest Holidays) was just a plaque on the outside of a tall building between a bank and a derelict building fronting the main road. There was a coded security entrance into a huge uninviting area with stone steps and a lift. The rooms/apartments were through a door to a further area of many other apartments that may have been people's homes. These were on many levels and again a little uninviting and difficult to locate. A further door around the 'walkway' led to the door opened by a fob key to the actual apartment. Inside the room was very nice. There was a lot of noise all through the night from the street below. For me, as a single female, I did not feel safe and would not return again, however the location was perfect!
- Christopher (8/5): Great location but noisy area - I was given an apartment in a different block to the one I booked for. This was communicated to me ahead of time and it is apparently close to the original place. I didn't mind as I was only there 2 days. Communication was good but because there is no front desk as such you do need to be able to have ability to contact the apartment hosts to arrange arrival. I opted to pay my balance on arrival, what was not made clear is that this must be paid in cash. This was an inconvenience as I had to walk with the host to an ATM to withdraw the money. Room was clean though and well presented, however bed was quite firm and the area is VERY noisy at night - I could still here the dull thumping of music at 5am. The location is great for easy walking distance to all the main tourist sites, but it is a "party" area at night, hence the noise.
- Joshua (10/5): Great location - Check in was a little confusing. It's actually more like an apartment. We arrived before the 1pm checkin time. Go to Curia unit 4 for the office. They manage over 100 properties. Leaving this info because this is what I needed. Should prob be on the website. We got there early and expected a lobby. Not the case. We met Susie in the office. She was super nice and informative and gave us all sorts of information. Get the 3 day pass they offer. We only did one day and the boat and still felt it was cheap. Room was fine and included a mini kitchen. Apparently they have multiple locations, but ours was right in the heart of everything. For our location, eat at Drum Cafe. Authentic food at a fraction of the cost. Get goulash soup. Skip the mushroom one. It was legit water with some veg and melted cheese at the bottom. Also, watch out for the hot water side. They clearly have no regulation by US standards. I popped my foot on the bar to shave my legs and ended up with a nice sear. It's a hot as f*ck and the water doesn't even have to be that warm

It took 2hrs to complete check in and then got charged for a room already paid on Expedia a month before! He then came back and returned the money the next day!
- drgeniuz (8/5): - although it looked a bit different from the picture( my apartment had a different kitchen layout). everything was great. the apartment was very clean, it had all I needed. wifi worked great and checking in was easy. They also called continuously to ask if i was okay when i checked it later than agreed. the agent who helped me was also super nice.There are shops and eateries withing walking distance. great stay.
- Ivelisse (8/5): Comfortable room but no elevator. - Location was excellent! The room was comfortable and clean. However, it had no elevator and it was quite difficult to take the stairs with my luggage. Also, the hallway was dark and it looked dirty.
- Reuben (10/5): Comfortable room and a great price - The studio was amazing and the AC worked great during the heatwave. The only thing that was confusing was the check in process. Make sure you email them with when you are coming and they will meet you in front. The address is 3c not 3a so make sure you know which building to go to. The are not on the same side of the side street. Their elevator is out of order so if you cannot do stairs, double check with them that the elevator is fixed.
