- theshavenmint (10/5): Fantastic little getaway. - The communication prior to my arrival was excellent, I booked for 4 days initially but needed to arrive a day early, I spoke with Daniel ( fantastic guy ) by phone and he arranged the extra day at a great rate for me! On arrival I had a good reception and everything was explained to me from shop opening hours to barrier code. This place is excellent value for money, great quiet location, and staff exceptional. I highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a quiet getaway. Thank you to everyone. Nothing to dislike everything was perfect.

- Barbara (9/5): Cosy pod accommodation just a short drive from Weymouth - It was very clean with a comfortable bed and settee. Compact and cosy with a lovely veranda that got the sun all afternoon and evening. Staff were very happy and pleasant. There wasn’t an indoor table.

- Koray (9/5): Excellent. - Everything while we staying is fabulous. Facilities and lodge itself are amazing. I will come back with my camping friends. The last day we had electric cutout. The reason is electrical substation which is not under their control, I understand. But, considering the level of services and the lodge numbers in camp site I think it’s better them to have electric generators on site to cover at least a couple of hours. The weather is not hot and if you stay with your child and have electrical cutout the weather conditions has changed very quickly. It was getting cold for a couple hours. There might be scenarios for the worst cases.

They had entertainment which was good . Our pod we stayed in was lovely and clean and very comfortable and had all that we needed . I liked everything .
- Rosanna (10/5): Fabulous Fabulous Fabulous - First time ever staying on a Campsite, it was Lush. We stayed in Pod 21 it was just perfect. Clean and Tidy. Grounds from we could see were the same standard. Ship onsite is dangerous with the cakes and sweets available. Visited on our 3 nights by a Mexican Van, Pizza Van, Pancake Van and a Curry Van. Incredible food. The Bunk Bed was a little iffy- we stayed with our 15 Year old son and 6.5 year old son- our 15 year old was over the recommended weight limit but our 6.5 year old has additional needs so not appropriate for him to go up either. The teenager took one for the team and it was fine, but could have been handy knowing this was the case and we would have booked 2 pods. More of an us problem than a them problem really.

Patio furniture in lodges not as advertised, on website you're shown tables and wicker couches, what you actually get is a tiny table and 4 chairs. Can't sit outside without getting attacked and stung by wasps. Camping not very well organised. People leaving their camping equipment in walkways.

Short drive to Lulworth, Weymouth etc. Useful information about local shops, takeaways etc. Food van was on site over the weekend (evenings), with entertainment. However all was quiet by 10pm, so not disturbed. Check in really easy, Well stocked onside shop. Really clean site. The edges of the sofa/bed were dusty. Maybe one of those areas you cannot reach, but noticeable when lying in bed. Overall the pod was immaculate.

Friendly staff, great location and the pod was beautiful ❤️ The pod had everything you could need, it was clean, functional and the main bed was so comfortable! - Sarah (8/5): - The location was excellent for exploring Dorset,the pod was cozy the beds where comfortable and the facilities inside the camp site was great for children also liked the welcome pack and as a family of four gave us extra towels when we asked. The pod could of been a little cleaner on arrival as the side of the bed was a bit dusty and I found chewing gum stuck to the frame.

- Chloe (7/5): Lovely second stay - shame about the slight lowering of standards with upkeep of lodges. - Love the location and the size of the site. This is the second time we have stayed here. We love the opportunity to go to the farm shop and the fact that the site has regular vendors offering various types of food - we always make use of this! We really enjoy staying in the lodges, going for the family sized lodge so that we can make use of the balcony which we love for evening card games etc. Despite the campsite being slightly more busy - due to it being height of the season - it was still relatively quiet and we like that. The location is great being only 10 minutes from Weymouth centre and approx. 25 minutes from West Bay which is also lovely to visit. We would love to come and stay next year and try the newer lodges which are slightly larger - potentially just out of season in hopes for heightened cleanliness and upkeep of fixtures. Unfortunately the cleanliness and upholding of the lodges seems to have fallen somewhat since the first time we stayed at the campsite. Our lodge was quite dirty behind the bed and down the side of the bed, as well as behind the curtains (those also had stains on them). The lights by the bedside also didn’t work this time around which made things slightly inconvenient when wanting to make the room darker before going to sleep. The bunkbeds in our room were also broken with the screws hanging out. We did make the people running the campsite aware of these issues on the first morning of our stay, however nothing seemed to be done about this despite them saying they would seek to sort this. Overall the campsite was still good value for money and we enjoy our stays there, as this was our second time staying, however the standards appeared to have dropped slightly - maybe due to being height of the season.

The kiddies loved it and their accommodation they loved their room in the mezzanine ! It was good
- Andrew (10/5): Well needed break , we had just that apart from few thinks to do with other residents. - I like the fact it was enclosed and felt that we could keep an eye on our children. I think some Rules with regards to the age of children using the play area and also using Nerf guns on site, my 5 year old was shot at by older kids and then they were blaming him for something he hadn’t done , my 8 year old daughter informed us that the older kids were using quite foul language , I know you have no way of policing what is said I do think that when people make the booking they should adhere to certain rules.

Perfect for a few days away. - It was perfect little pod for what we needed, the site had things on in the week for you to enjoy we loved the pizza and pancake van. Personally for me, I would have liked a few more things in the kitchen, like a peeler, smaller sharp knife and grater. Personally we didn’t sleep too well due to mattress being rather uncomfortable. But at home I have memory foam and very specific mattresses.

- Gemma (10/5): Excellent stay - The location was excellent. The staff are very friendly. We had a 2 person pod and it was fantastic. Everything you need, warm and cosy. Comfy bed and excellent kitchen and bathroom facilities. The pod was also spotless bearing in mind when we arrived it was raining and it is a farm. The pod was spotless. Farm shop was also good. Check out at 10 was early compared to some places we've been which is 11am or midday however I do fully understand that the pods mustvtake extra time to clean and prepare.
- Nick (10/5): - Great campsite, we stayed in one of the family lodges (Durdle Door). Room, facilities and overall cleanliness were amazing. Wednesday they had stone baked pizzas a bar and a singer called Hamish who was great and got everyone singing and kids dancing. Farm shop has everything you need and the park and play areas for kids was everything our kids needed to entertain themselves so we could relax in the evenings aswell. Already looking to book our next stay. Maybe look at having some sort of entertainment or singer on most evenings in the summer. I think they do on weekends but maybe mid week would have been great as did enjoy just sitting and listening to Hamish and a bit of live music, maybe its something to do with licensing. Just my personal preference this doesn't reflect the campsite at all still an amazing stay.

- des (7/5): Okay, but not for us - Friendly staff Peaceful and quiet we did sleep reasonably well if you left the toilet window wide open when you slept you got through draft the microwave worked, well The grill was the only other source of cooking and it was poor. The utensils were not enough two of everything knives forks, spoons et cetera really wasn’t enough and the manager agreed that and said he was gonna get me some more but didn’t in the end. The shower was very temperamental and very hot than very cold. Not very nice. The bed itself had nowhere to put anything on the side so I couldn’t use my sleep Apnia machine. Some of these things are easily fixed but we would not stay again.

- Sue (10/5): Wonderful break - Beautiful place, very quiet and tranquil...extremely well cared for grounds and the people running it were very friendly and welcoming. Cant really say we didnt like it but the pod was a bit small for us, next time we will book a bigger one

Owners were friendly, thanks Jack for the directions. Lovely site with great views of the Countryside, regards Des & Karen Milton Keynes Road to the site is a bit narrow but manageable.
- Izzy (10/5): Perfect, relaxing, quiet and in an excellent location. - We loved this property from the moment we arrived. Very friendly and helpful staff, our accommodation was very nice, modern and clean. Although it was a small pod, the way all the space has been used is exceptional. A place to sit inside and outside on beautiful decking and looking out onto beautiful scenery. There’s plenty storage places and the beds were very comfortable. The location is also excellent, 5 minute drive to Weymouth town centre and 10 minute drive to Dorchester. Absolutely nothing, we loved everything about this place. I was visiting my son, daughter-in-law and my beautiful granddaughter, who live in Dorchester. We have been coming down for the past 10 years and this is by far the, the best place we have stayed and is not expensive to stay there.

- david (8/5): - Shower screen not the right size for shower so ended up with a lot of water on floor and toilet seat set to far back (as a plumber for 40 years)
- Lisa (10/5): A chilled go at your own pace holiday 👌🏼 - Loved every bit of it. Spotless quiet and in an excellent location. Staff were amazing very friendly and accommodating. My partner and I stayed in the pods and they had everything you need for your stay cosy and comfortable. Will definitely be back next year 👍🏼 Nothing can’t fault this beautiful place.

- Samantha McLean (10/5): You will not be disappointed!! - We stayed in the family studio. Very clean family studio may I add Lovely base to explore local beaches. Durdle door 30mins drive, 31 mins drive to Portland (on the way back we visited Chesil beach.)and only a 11min drive to Weymouth. Clean surroundings on site and a park which entertained a 13 year old and 15 year old! We will be back to try out the pods next time. Excellent coffee too from the coffee machine!! I don't give reviews but I had to . Throughly enjoyed our stay Thank you from the Akram & McLean family Nothing to dislike!!!!!
