- Leon (10/5): Recommended stay - Best location could ask for massive apartment with lots of room customer service was excellent apartment could have been slightly cleaner but was not majorly dirty.
- Syed (2/5): Avoid - Tried to charge 150 breakage deposit for leaving abit off litter behind on the table even though 150 is there if we break anything which we didn't.

The main door handle was broken and the staff member who fixed it started by banging violantly on the door in the early hours of the morning. The wifi was terrible and the television remote did not work at all. The only good thing was that the receptionist we encountered was a nice professional chap and took care of us but overall definitely not worth the price

Clearly there are many, many fake reviews giving "10.0" here as this is simply an impossibility. Brief list: * Used condom hanging off the radiator * Vomit/half digested food in the sink * Damp and damage evident * Glitter all over the floor * Not hot water * No terrestrial TV * Unhelpful staff * No management present

- Verified traveler (4/5): - Atana Apartments are not advertised as such! They are actually called Manchester apartments UK and are very hard to find on Withy Grove, we walked past the front door at least 3 times looking for the front door. Because the name Atana Apartments does not appear anywhere inside or outside the building it makes it difficult for the traveller. I wonder if Apartments sub let from the Manchester Apartments? Having said the above, our apartment was clean inside just very tired and in need of TLC to bring them up to the standard they probably were 10 years ago. Our apartment was a little battered in places! A large cracked tile in the bathroom, burn marks on the carpet, skirting boards old and peeled from paint, bedside cabinets definitely need replacing, kettle on/off switch missing, dints in kitchen appliances, curtains far too long. But on the plus side, very well equipped, big bathroom, large rooms, tv, etc. Convenient for Vic station and centre of Manchester. Could be so much better. Give them a try and maybe if Atana read this review they will address the upkeep to make the Apartments realise their full potential!

- Mitesh (2/5): Would never stay again - The floor was scratched, the window was cracked and taped up, the place was a thoroughly clean, we had to ask for fresh towels and finally there are no lights working in one of the bedrooms which was very inconvenient as we had exams to take. Not worth the money at all.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The apartments are in a great location, but we're generally in only an ok condition - lots of furniture showing quite bad signs of wear and tear, and we had to use tweezers to turn the heating dial and it was broken. The button on the kettle was also broken. It also didn't feel massively safe - on our first night, the receptionist came to our room at 11:30pm to ask if we're were the room who requested milk. Not only was this odd, as he wasn't holding milk and it was so late at night, but he could have called up to us on the internal phone. There were also a few occasions when there was no one at reception.

Quiet given its location and would stop again Car park across from men arena was 14 pound for 24 hours which was reasonable Very close to bars and restaurants great location

- David (2/5): Atana, poor value. poor rooms. - was moved to this hotel as my original was no longer available. I was very disappointed. Staff were not particularly helpful, first room was tiny with a vet small dark bedroom, I did ask to be moved and did get a bigger brighter room but it was in need of a clean and tidy. Plus points: location. That's it. Negatives: Unhelpful staff Hard to find Heater not working. Poor / dirty fixtures, fittings carpets. Room backed onto clubs /bars with trash lorries arriving from 630am, its also noisy at night. I had the misfortune of getting woken at 5am by partying and arguing individuals. This place is not worth the money. If you want a good night's sleep go elsewhere!

- Alexandra (6/5): Good location, hard to find, no customer service - Good location for going out in Manchester as it’s right above Printworks. The apartment was difficult to find initially and the doors are hard to open as they all have old keypad locks. The reception charged a deposit which we were not told about but overall the apartments were in good condition and good value for money for the price we paid.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The postcode to the car park wasn't correct, however I know my way around Manchester so therefore knew a car park within walking distance. All staff were very friendly. However for the days that we were there the lift was broken and we was located on the 7th floor. The man who was on reception on the day did not offer to help us both with our bags even though he could see that we had a lot of bags and cases to carry. Luckily a man was coming out of his apartment on the second floor and offered to help us. Apart from the lift not working, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the location was perfect. I would definitely stop here again depending on the lift working. The room itself was great, however the television was not working and could have done with a full length mirror. However, this will not stop us from coming to Atana Apartments again. When you first check in they take a £100 deposit for security reasons and tell you that it will be refunded in 5 working days. I can understand why they take the £100 deposit out incase anything was destroyed. When I checked my bank in 5 working days, the full £100 was refunded. Overall we enjoyed our stay at Atana Apartments and are planning to stay there again very soon.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Awful - Supposed to be no smoking the room smelt like a chain smoker had been in there burning your nose. Lift was out of order so had to walk up 8 flights of stairs no mention prior to arrival not good when your father is ill. The place was filthy mould and marks everywhere. Also they take £150 holding deposit they should be paying you to stay. It is the worst place I have stayed by far. It is advertised as 4 star but it is 2 at best. It is central that’s the only good point.

Overall it was ok and location is great!

Central location, decent apartment and good value for money, only negative is that it’s right next to Birdcage so very noisy until early hours of morning. Would still stay again.
- Beverley (8/5): Birthday treat started off rocky but nice place - After some initial check in problems, which were not really the fault of the company, I was upgraded to a prime apartment. Really, really nice. Loads of space and every area was clean. Tiny little cracks in corner of bedroom, near wardrobe, but everyting was beautifully kept. Only thing I don't like is the length of time it takes to repay the deposit, so, really, you are paying upfront another hundred or so pounds on top of trip. Not cool.

- Jon (8/5): Atana apartment Manchester - The apartment was clean and tidy however in a little need of a spruce up in some areas. There were some fairly noisy neighbours however once you were in the apartment you couldn’t hear them. The location is excellent, central to shops and bars and the Christmas market. Quick check in and out and hassle free.

- Verified traveler (4/5): - The location of the Atana Apartments is very central and close to shops, restaurants and bars. However, there were some very noisy nightclubs immediately nearby which made it very noisy and raucous at night and right through to around 6.30am the next morning. I got hardly any sleep at all as my apartment overlooked the street. The apartment, whilst spacious, was very sparsely and cheaply furnished, the water from the shower wasn’t hot and there was no bath plug. Overall very disappointing.

However the apartment was spacious, fairly comfortable and had everything you need for a cosy stay. The location was simply the best. In the heart of Manchester by the arndale with everything in walking distance. This is an ideal stay if you want to come and go as you please and don’t particularly need anything from the reception desk.
