Ya había estado aquí el año pasado y este año terminé regresando varias veces porque el lugar simplemente tiene algo especial. ✨ La atención y la calidez humana hacen que te sientas en paz desde el primer momento. El dueño siempre ha sido muy amable, respetuoso y cercano, creando un ambiente tranquilo y acogedor donde realmente te sientes como en casa. La energía del hostel es preciosa, perfecta para descansar, conectar contigo y disfrutar del entorno. Después de varias noches aquí, solo puedo decir que seguiría apostando mil veces por regresar. 🌊🏡

El año pasado me hospedé aquí y este año quise volver porque la calidez humana y la energía del lugar son realmente especiales. ✨ La atención del dueño destaca muchísimo: amable, respetuoso, cercano y siempre atento a que te sientas cómodo. Desde que llegas, el ambiente transmite tranquilidad y esa sensación bonita de estar como en casa. Es un hostel con muy buena vibra, perfecto para descansar, desconectar y sentirte bien recibido. • Mildan. (9/5): Top Preis-Leistung - Top Preis-Leistung-verhaltnis. Kein Luxus Hostel erwarten, cooles Rooftop, chilliger vibe, gute Küche, großer 6-Bett-Zimmer mit genug Stauraum. War schon 3-4 Mal in diesem Hostel für 2-3 Tage. WC und Bad nicht der beste Zustand (wie in vielen Hostels). Keine Unternehmungen durch das Hostel Personal.

• Volha (8/5): - Die Lage ist sehr gut, nah am Strand. Auch mit den Mitbewohnerinnen hat alles gut gepasst, sodass man sich gut ausruhen und schlafen konnte. Ein kleiner Nachteil: Es gibt nur zwei Duschen für Frauen, deshalb musste man manchmal eine ruhigere Zeit abpassen, um in Ruhe duschen zu können.

• Guy (8/5): loved it - nice & quite rooftop in the middle of the city and 200m from the beach. Nice typical spanish painted walls. A lot of people to chat with, and the volunteers make you feel respected. Good vibes for a quick staying. I planed 2 nights and stayed 4. Feel the magic of la Isleta 24/24. Just by going down the stairs. the charm of the precious ceramics, the stone floor and the 2 millions old wood doors guarantee you a high performance distribution of the sound. good earplugs next time.

• Pam (10/5): I’ll be back - Not my first visit. It’s the best one at my price point and I love how it has everything I need in an area providing everything I want to experience. It’s easy to get anywhere from here. Always clean, lots of space, very nice and helpful manager. I’m just sorry I couldn't stay longer this time.

• Birch (8/5): Great location and meets all basic needs. - Lua Lua has a great location. Close to the beach, bars, and restaurants. It’s fairly walkable from some of the bigger bus stops. It is pretty much a ‘self running hostel’, you do the check in procedure online, and get your own code to the door. Then there are volunteers who keep it nice and tidy, and are available if you need help. I found the room basic and comfortable, with sturdy beds so you don’t feel your bunk mate move (but would’ve liked a privacy curtain). It looks fairly ‘used’ so you just get a feeling it’s a Little bit dirty - even though they clean every day.

• Daniel (10/5): Highly recommended - Lualua has an excellent location right by the Las Canteras promenade and the beach, yet tucked just 100 meters behind, where it’s quieter and more peaceful. It’s the perfect balance between being close to everything and still having a calm, relaxing atmosphere. Carlos, the owner, has run this place for many years together with his wife. You can really feel the care and dedication they put into it. Everything is well managed, thoughtful, and welcoming. For me, this place feels like a second home, somewhere I can truly relax, recharge, and find peace. Almost like a small sanctuary for me. The common areas have everything you need, including a lovely rooftop terrace and a spacious, well-equipped kitchen. I will always come back. Highly recommended.

• segreto (6/5): alcuni aspetti da migliorare - Posizione centralissima, a pochi passi dal mare, sicuramente il punto di forza della struttura. Purtroppo le camere non possono essere chiuse né dall’interno né dall’esterno, creando problemi di sicurezza: anche nella camerata femminile chiunque può entrare. La mia stanza era praticamente sul terrazzo, che nei giorni di pioggia era sempre allagato, rendendo scomodi entrata e uscita. Inoltre, essendo affacciata sul terrazzo, di notte si sentivano molti rumori. Il bagno sul terrazzo veniva chiuso la notte, quindi era necessario scendere al primo piano. Qui c’erano solo due docce, con la porta che non si chiudeva bene, accanto al bagno maschile e di fronte alla cucina. La cucina era molto sporca. Quando ho chiesto un asciugacapelli, mi è stato detto che probabilmente non ne avevano uno e, quando finalmente lo hanno trovato, era anche rotto.

• Ingrithe (5/5): - I have been in Lua Lua 2 years before and the location and the rooms are good kitchen is small but do the job Self checking is useful, but I was there for 2 days and I still have no idea who was working there.. the roof top was almost abandoned plants dead messy, used to be a place full of life. A man who was staying there or working there idk, had the habit to pee on the floor of the male toilet, when I heard about it I couldn't belive but during the night I went to the toilet and I felt the smell coming from the male's toilet and I could see the pee paddle from outside .. VERY DISAPPOINTED with LuaLua

Also the common spaces in the kitchen, they weren't cleaned properly, and I'm not referring to the mess that occurs when there are many people, but to the fact that areas, especially where the plates, cutlery, the hood, the shelves in the refrigerator were not cleaned. And the 4 person room was quite small.

• Vale PP (8/5): Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo - Ottima posizione per spostarsi in spiaggia o alla stazione dei bus. Spazi comuni comodi, ampia terrazza con tanti divani, cucina ben organizzata con scomparti singoli per frigo e dispensa, piccolo salotto interno con due divani. Letto comodo con presa della corrente e piccola luce notturna, armadietti che si possono chiudere con il lucchetto che bisogna portarsi da casa. Divisione dei bagni femminili e maschili. La camerata femminile é quella meno spaziosa, con pavimenti spesso sporchi perché si trova vicino alla terrazza e quando piove il pavimento diventa un mix di acqua e sabbia portata dalle spiaggie. Si trova di fronte alla camerata dei volontari, alcuni di loro si mettono a fare videochiamate o fumare di fronte alla camerata femminile quando potrebbero andarsene in terrazza con tutto lo spazio che c'è!

• patriciamn (6/5): Pour quelques jours au nord çest agreable - Les chambres sont propres. Dans la cuisine, il y a beaucoup d'équipements pour cuisiner. Il y a même un réfrigérateur où chaque personne a sa propre box, avec un numéro correspondant à son lit. Il y a aussi un placard avec une box avec notre numéro pour garder nos affaires si l'on veut cuisiner. Les salles de bain sont séparées hommes et femmes et étaient correctement propres, il y a aussi un seche cheveux . Il y a une terrasse que je n'ai pas eu le temps de profiter, où l'on peut se détendre, lire ou discuter avec les autres invités. Le personnel a été très attentif et a donné une très bonne impression. On peut faire tout a pied car on se situe au centre de las canteras Les points négatifs que je pourrais mentionner sont les suivants : les salles de bain pourraient être rénovées car sont petites et il n’y a pas beaucoup d’espace pour se changer. La cuisine pourrait être un problème pour ceux qui se lèvent tôt et veulent prendre le petit déjeuner, car elle n’ouvre qu’à 8h30, mais je comprends que c’est pour ne pas déranger les autres invités. J’ai aussi remarqué un peu de bruit pendant la nuit, certaines personnes mettaient de la musique, mais ce n’était pas trop fort et cela ne m’a pas dérangé. La porte d’entrée de notre chambre était un peu abîmée et parfois la poignee pouvait tomber. On ferme pas notre porte de chambre , Cependant, chaque chambre dispose d’un casier où l’on peut garder ses affaires personnelles .

Badezimmer sehr klein und eng, etwas wenig Atmosphäre auf der Rooftop-Terrasse trotz tollem Potenzial. Ein kleines bisschen Programm oder Events würden hier einen großen Unterschied machen.

Not great. - The location is the only good thing about this hostel in my opinion -My room was in the terrace opposite the staff room. -Staff was incredibly loud all day long, especially the girl (even at night) -When it rained the terrace was soaked and it would not get cleaned meaning the floors in the room were also wet. -The door didn't have a lock. Not very safe, especially being outside on the terrace in a female only room. -The ceiling in my room was peeling off, very odd. -I can appreciate the shared facilities being cleaned daily however the showers always felt dirty due to the damp. -Everyone who I spoke to (other ladies in my room) confirmed to me they didn't think this hostel was good. I would agree.

• Viktoriia (2/5): Ужасно - Только расположение. В остальном - УЖАС На такой большой хостел - всего 2 женских туалета (и 2 общих туалета на террасе, но на ночь терраса закрыта), и 2 душевые кабинки. Маленький бойлер на 30 литров на такое количество проживающих - выглядит как насмешка. На кроватях нет даже шторок. Фена в хостеле нет. Интернет бесплатный - при регистрации даже не предложили его подключить. Система заезда - отдельная история, дали буквально за 20 минут до времени заезда и то, после того, как уже начала писать на сам букинг жалобы. В общем ПОЛНЫЙ КОШМАР!
• Pam (10/5): Home from home - I love everything about LuaLua. I’ve stayed three times over the last few weeks as I’ve found it’s one of the best places to work from and have as a travel base while I’m on the island. I’ve also spent some time with lovely people, it really does seem to attract friendly and respectful people. I’m gutted to be leaving but I’ll be back in a few months and will definitely be staying here again. Room 2 is my favourite. There’s nothing at all I don’t like, it’s become a home from home for me now.

• Pam (10/5): Perfect again - Everything, but I have to say the beds are the most comfortable I’ve had in a hostel. Made of concrete, with both a mattress and topper, they don’t make ANY noise when you move. The space between bottom and top bunk is at least 30cm more than any other hostel, and each bunk has blackout curtains, powerpoints and a personal light. The ladder is wide and solid so even being in top bunk wasn’t an issue. The attention to details is fabulous. Nothing

• Pam (10/5): Perfect home from home - I loved everything! Great kitchen, clean, lovely staff, wonderfully mature guests, well thought out facilities, ie showers separate to toilets. I’ve stayed before so knew what to expect but honestly every time I stay, I appreciate it all the more. It never gets worse, only better. There’s nothing I didn’t like this time, I already have 2 more stays booked and there will be more next year.

• Alessia (6/5): - Posizione centrale, camere molto spaziose e ampi armadietti, zona reception e terrazza comodi e accoglienti, buona la pulizia e i materassi, staff estremamente cordiale e disponibile. Non ho trovato la stessa comodità che trovo solitamente negli ostelli in cui alloggio. Il lampadario ad elica (non vi è una climatizzazione/riscaldamento centralizzato) acceso per tutta la notte non mi ha fatto chiudere occhio. In più, i letti sono rumorosi e cigolano ad ogni movimento. La cucina viene chiusa durante la notte (dalle 23:30), non permettendoti di entrare e prendere le cose in frigorifero. Lo staff è stato molto cordiale nel permettermi eccezionalmente di entrare, ma trovo comunque che sia scomodo non poter avere accesso.

I had a bit of an issue where I left clothing somewhere and it got moved and I felt completely supported as they tracked it down for me and even helped figure out who moved my stuff.
