• Roberto (2/5): La descripción no corresponde .. es sólo una habitación limpia sin más servicios - Nada .. compre 4 noches pero no estuvimos ninguna .. y es que la información que publica el hotel en booking no es real .. es un hotel que ofrece una habitación limpia y nada más .. no tiene lugar para desayunar .. no tiene acceso a la playa .. no tiene ningún otro servicio .. nadie que ayude a subir las maletas en la escala que lleva al front desk .. es literalmente una habitación limpia y nada más Desde que llegamos no tuvimos NINGÚN servicio .. la única persona del frint desk miro como subíamos las maletas.. ni siquiera se dignó a abrir la puerta .. y luego la sorpresa fue que no había lugar para desayunar .. que el desayuno que estaba incluido era en 2 sitios.. uno al frente .. de baja calidad ( almorzamos ahí para probar el lugar ) y el otro había que tomar un taxi por un equivalente a 8 dólares .. nunca fue nuestra idea ..

Purtroppo durante il soggiorno abbiamo avuto problemi con la doccia. Scendeva solo acqua bollente e non è stato possibile risolvere il problema durante il nostro soggiorno. Lo staff ci ha proposto di cambiare camera, proponendoci tuttavia una camera a piano terra, senza vista sul mare per cui abbiamo rifiutato. Ci sono state quindi fornite le chiavi di un’altra stanza per poter fare la doccia.

• Marie (8/5): - Cet hôtel est très confortable et reculé de toute l’agitation touristique au nord de l’île. kin Ha, avec qui l’hôtel a un accord pour la restauration propose de très bon petit déjeuner et à une piscine vu mer ! Ils sont très gentils! Le débit d’eau froide de la douche est très très faible et régler la chaleur est très compliqué. L’hôtel propose des activités ou des taxis à des prix délirant. Le taxi propose étant à 900MXN versus 150/200MXN pour aller à l’embarcadère. De plus, on entend la piscine de l’hôtel au dessus dans les chambres.

El hotel tampoco cuenta que para usar la piscina o acceder a la playa tienes que pagar… es un beach club y si quieres entrar, tanto para playa o piscina, es necesario una consumición mínima. Tendrían que avisar antes.

• Nir (1/5): Disappointing - Nothing We originally booked a room for five people. Wanting to be prepared, we asked in advance if it would be possible to have a sofa or an extra bed for our 4-year-old child. The hotel confirmed it was possible, but upon arrival, no extra bed was provided. Despite that, we were still charged an additional 300 pesos per night for the child — which feels dishonest and unfair. The hotel is located in the middle of nowhere, far from everything, with no walking access to anything except a nearby beach club. Our room was right next to the garbage area, and the smell of trash hits you the moment you arrive. The hot water runs out quickly, and we had to wait nearly an hour between showers. The room had a constant smell of mold and dampness. The toilet didn’t function properly and required at least ten flushes to work — a huge inconvenience. The Wi-Fi barely worked, and the receptionist was consistently unfriendly and unwelcoming. To top it all off, when we checked out and left our bags in storage while spending time at the beach club, we returned to a completely unacceptable situation. The receptionist falsely claimed our child had urinated on the mattress and showed us a fabricated photo. We waited over 20 minutes for the manager to arrive, but had to leave to catch our ferry — humiliated and angry. This was a deeply disappointing experience from beginning to end. I strongly advise others to avoid this hotel. It’s simply not worth the hassle or the disrespect.

Accès to the beach club Mayan beach club, Very pricey, one day, they tell you 500 pesos , next day 600 pesos... it means it is mandatory to consume this amount of money at the bar or food to stay on the beach club chair. If you love the beach it is becoming too pricey. Better option is to stay in Cancun. If you have money pay the hotels close to Playa Norte, which is very beautiful.

• Bianca (7/5): Nice stay but needs a bit of a revamp! - Comfy bed, spacious room & acccom, amazing staff Tired accommodation (not as nice as the pics!) and separate restaurant/hotel affiliates for breakfast were tight with what you can order (Kin Ha not as good as Mayan beach). Drain smell wasn’t pleasant.
• Candace (8/5): - We really enjoyed our stay. Have been to Isla many times, but this was our first time staying South Island. Our room was comfortable and roomy with many extras. Bonus was having a free breakfast at the affiliated KinHa Beach Club, where you can also spend the day enjoying the loungers and water toys. Several very good restaurants within a short walk. The whole area had a nice vibe and very chill. Highly recommend.

Not a sandy beach, but lots of steps down from the dock to swim and kayak, paddle board, snorkel, bounce on the floating trampoline, etc. Had to message and ask for WiFi password. No remote for the TV. Room could have been cleaner. Terrible pillows.

Front desk staff were exceedingly helpful in finding a bilingual doctor when we needed one and arranged a taxi pick up. Angel and Damien were both exceptionally kind. The cleaning staff was also excellent. I liked everything. While there was a couch and chairs around a table I would have appreciated a comfortable chair.

• Lukas (5/5): Its okay, but not sure if I would come back. - The staff was really friendly to us, also cloud we rent a famous golf cart directly with them (regarding the prices in the internet, I think the price was fair). Also whats nice is that they have a partnership with the Kin Ha Beachclub, which is next door. You will get free entry to them. We were a bit confused since the pictures didn't match the room itself. There were no nice towels, etc. Also, the bathroom was semi-clean, I would say. There were water marks everywhere, and the shower as well as the tap were really clogged, so there was not much coming out at the bit, which came out sprayed everywhere. Then there was the bed which was really short so that I 1.80m could barely fit in it, without having my feet hanging out the bed.

• Andrea (8/5): Beautiful place hard to get away from noise - Damian was so kind and accommodating and it was beautifully decorated. The shower head was broken and there was a party almost every night above our room that kept us up.
• Alma (2/5): - I would only give one star because the front desk lady was super nice. We had two room reservation and both rooms had severe mold. I am extremely allergic and my friends did not sleep through the night. Electricity also went out, but that's normal for that part of the island. There's also a trash dumpster nearby and the stench was pretty strong. They have so much work to do on the building.
• Maria (6/5): Great rooms, friendly staff, Clean and neat. But neighbor hotel needs to fix waste managment. - the room was great, big enough for our family group. Beds were super comfortable and bathroom, Clean, modern and spacious. we loved our room, was all what we needed, they provided a crib for our two years old. the beach club partnership was great, kids loved it. food wasn't the best, but ok for a daily single meal (lots of junk food). There is a great new restaurant called ULAN eatery right in the principal street that has WONDERFUL food options, sour dough bread freshly baked, gourmet pizzas, etc. Amazing!. The street to access to Casa AZUL is still under construction, so it's an issue for taxi drivers who don't want to damage their cars and drop you far out. there is an hotel next to Casa Azul Called "Casa de los sueños" that has a terrible waste management, they don't care at ALL about how they can affect Casa Azul in terms of smell. There is a compartment right next to Casa Azul where they put all their disposal garbage and in hot days like the ones we had, the smell becomes so strong that reached our bedroom. We kindly asked Angel, the receptionist, to do something about it. Casa de los sueños did, but only lasted for a few hours. It's an issue they really need to solve between the two hotels. Also, wasn't a problem. But the beach club that have a partnership with Casa Azul only provide limited breakfast options, pool, kayak/padel board and chairs in the back. not front seat beach chairs, those you need a minimum consumption of $500 mx pesos to use a single ONE. that wasn't clear from the beginning.
• Alan (9/5): Confy will definitely come back and stay for more days. - The rooms are great. It's near some restaurants and beach clubs also has a Drugstore behind the hotel. If you need to get to the city downtown you can either call a taxi cab or wait in the street for one. A lot of mosquitos. Some times smells like garbage outside the hotel. The street was out of service.
• Anna (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful hotel on the South end of Isla Mujeres. The breakfast was delicious and the pool and ocean views were lovely. Staff were friendly and helpful in booking taxis and airport transportation for us. Hotels in this area are far from most beaches and the ocean access from the hotel is just directly into the water. But getting a taxi or golf cart out to Playa Norte is very easy.

Everything so clean & spacious, I can recommend 100% - The rooms are super clean, the towels are super white and clean, the beds are clean, the AC works great, the staff is great, super spacious room, with a kichenett included, all is good! The location of this hotel is close to punta sur, at the very south part of the island, so if going downtown you need a taxi. All was great!

• Leigh (5/5): Not worth it - The room is large and pretty well equipped, with drinking water provided every day. The mattress was comfortable, there was plenty of storage space and the shower had good pressure. The weather took a turn for the worse whilst we were there so there wasn’t much to do. If the TV had been less ancient we might have been able to while away the time but it was impossible to work with. We left two days early and the manager refused to allow us to amend our booking, saying it was booking.com’s fault, which I know is a complete lie as we had other hotels during the trip who were happy to amend our dates. I felt very offended that they thought we were gullible enough to believe that and wouldn’t even give us a reimbursement of one night. It left a very sour taste. Also, both the tap and the showerheads were encrusted with limescale which meant the water came out strangely. They need a good scrub or washing with vinegar.

• Grisel (8/5): Very good - Staff was great, facilities are clean, room was spacious loved the fact that it actually has a walk-in closet, it doesn't have hanging rods for clothes but excellent space to store bulky luggage. There is another mall space to hang clothes with hangers and shelfs as well. The room was quiet. There was a wedding one day and a party the next day that lasted until the early hours of the morning. You could hear the music from the room but really low it didn't mess with my sleep at all. The kitchenette was stocked with fresh water, plates, cups, and forks. It was a great option for saving the environment some plastic cups and plates we would've purchased during our stay. AC worked great. We had hot and cold water in the shower at all times it was never a problem. The location is in punta sur and very few food places within walking distance. We had a broken key chain that we were waiting for replacement we were there 7 full days and the replacement never arrived. The main entrance is towards the back, and the street available to go down to the hotel entrance is in very bad shape, big rocks, pot holes, and a bit dangerous for vehicles to go all the way down there but they do go down there anyway. For anyone with walking difficulties it will be better to avoid this place. There are a few places that use that same road. I wonder why they haven't talked about this and all get together to fix this little road after all it will benefit everyone. All in all, I will definitely consider coming back to this hotel. It's a great option

If you are looking for a chill time, no crowds, beautiful water this is it. - We really enjoyed the breakfasts at the Beach club Kin Ha and the beach and the beautiful blue like the sky Water!!!! The North of the Island is so busy and this place is a perfect balance. The beach club fills up around lunch time but it is still enjoyable. The street is away from the main road so there is no crazy traffic and the beach is so close!

• Sam (8/5): - Location was great. We walked to Punta Sur, the east coast footpath, and Kin Ha down the street for beach access. Loved the fantastic free breakfast off the menu at Kin Ha each day. Also really enjoyed dinners at Kin Ha. The hotel room was clean and efficient, which was what we were after. It was not luxury, nor a place to hang out beyond sleeping and showering, but we wanted to be out and about all day anyway, so this was what we needed. The front desk staff were very nice and accommodating.
• Ian (7/5): OK but no view and not great value - It is located on the south west side of the island. It is fairly quiet. Some good spots nearby like The Joint that has great live music. We were able to walk easily to Punta Sur. The room was clean. We were consigned to the ground floor room. We named it "The Dungeon". It had only two narrow windows that looked out onto a collection of motorcycles. No view. Beds were quite firm and too short for me (6 ft). Shower had a rain type head and flow was weak. Not the place to wash thick hair - or even have a good shower. Flow at the sink disappeared when the hotel was running their washer (that seemed to be behind our wall). Furnishing was spartan. Four plastic garden chairs, no balcony. Breakfast at Kin Ha club basic. They wanted MX$500 for a beach chair, even with a bracelet from the hotel. So we had no where to rest except on the plastic chairs in the dungeon.
• Stefanie (9/5): Comfortable and very relaxing accommodation! Wish we had stayed here longer. - Fantastic location nearby Kin Ha restaurant and beach area. Room was spacious and very clean. We enjoyed being near Punta Sur, snorkeling at Garrafon de Castillo and Kin Ha for breakfast and drinks. Bed was very comfortable and purified water was refilled daily in our room’s pottery dispenser. Wonderful staff that was truly helpful and accommodating! Nothing. It was fantastic!
• Karolina (9/5): We enjoyed staying there but rooms via booking.com were the worst ones. - The location was really nice, far from the centre in a cosy surrounding, access to the swimming pool and a sea bank via the restaurant they cooperate with. The personnel in the restaurant nearby where you have breakfasts and can use the swimming pool and other sea water facities was unfriendly. Also in all the hotels we’ve booked via booking.com in Mexico we were allocated in the worst rooms.
• Rach.77 (10/5): Excellent Stay - This is such a lovely place and we are so happy we stayed here. The staff are excellent! Super helpful and informative, we booked the isla contoy trip and a golf cart with them, which we highly recommend. The room is really spacious and comfortable, has a water station, coffee machine, fridge and everything you need. The location is South Island, and we preferred this as it was more relaxed and still had good bars/ restaurants that you can walk to. It was easy to get a taxi if you wanted to head up to the north island. Added bonus is the use of the facilities at the kin-ha beach bar across the road. We loved Kin Ha, a great vibe, food, drinks, and staff. You can use their snorkle equipment, pools, and get breakfast included here. Also recommend visiting the Isla Brewing company bar (mid Island), great setting, drinks selection, and food, we went twice!
• Jamie (7/5): Solid with a few quirks - Overall we enjoyed the place. The staff were helpful and accommodating, allowing us to store our bags and organising a Golf Cart. Big bed, good air-conditioning and a coffee machine with a huge pot of drinking water. The shower was good with plenty of hot water. There's also a safe. It's on the south of the island, so heading into town will take you 15 minutes by taxi, which is 150 pesos each trip. Quiet enough but there are a few odd sounds like bubbling water from the boiler perhaps. Our room was cleaned daily. I would stay here again no problem. Not really anywhere to hang up wet clothes. In our room, the window is installed backwards, so people can see in and you can't see out. We had the blind pulled down 99% of the time. Not a big deal but also not ideal.
