Guest Reviews
- Julia (8/5): - Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. The room was clean and comfortable, including the bed, and included much appreciated amenities like mini-fridge, microwave, coffee maker and grill on deck. All staff we interacted with were friendly and accommodating. The kitchen at Little Ladies Restaurant seems to be still struggling, but we did feel taken care of.
- Cynthia (4/5): - This property is very old and in disrepair. Great natural setting if you want an old run down motel in the pines. I've stayed at worse and the staff is friendly.
- Bill B. (10/5): - Staff was excellent. The area is beautiful.
- Robert A (10/5): - Beautiful area, great food and hometown service
- James (10/5): - It was scenic and quiet. I will return there.
- Stanley M (8/5): - Spacious room with porch overlooking a beautiful view.
Very remote, out of the way location. Main activities were golf and skiing. On the "high road to Taos" route.
Need to bring your own food as restaurant hours at the golf course were very limited, and there were no nearby markets.
Owners were very friendly and helpful.
Very nice place to stay for peace and quiet.
- Rebecca Ann (10/5): - Just a gorgeous area. The staff was so helpful and friendly! The RV park has a coffee shop, with great coffee and gifts, and the food truck was awesome. Huge, clean room. With a lovely patio.
- Julie (10/5): - It was so much fun and beautiful!
- Timothy R (10/5): - Great area, very quiet getaway! Quaint older strip cavins very peaceful. A step back in time. Some pictures show a kitchen, but description doesn't clarify with or without. Ours was without. Would have been a plus to of had one but still a great visist. We will be back.
- Verified traveler (6/5): So Said. - Bathroom floors dirty , hard as a rock mattress window covers falling apart, balcony full of cobwebs and empty beer cans.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Very friendly staff, nice rooms, great views!
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The owners/hosts we're fabulous, generous and sweet.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Gorgeous nature view from porch complete with rocking patio seating
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The overall view of the forest
- Charles (10/5): Trying out the mountains in Spring - We were early for the season and it was the year of Covid. Considering all the difficulties of even staying open we were very happy with our stay. Beautiful. Our deck was like a window to the forest. Our bed was big and comfortable. It was so quiet we could hear so many animals nearby. We loved the rustic and the comfortable friendly lodge. And it snowed! So great!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Absolutely stunning location, the room was amazing, the staff was so friendly and helpful. Can't recommend this wonderful place enough.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The property is much like a high end resort without high end lodging but we liked it. It had the feel of "Dirty Dancing's" summer camp, and we expected Patrick Swaze to come out at any moment...the beds and linens were good so it was fine. BEAUTIFUL SCENERY.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - This is a great place to stay if you are wanting to play golf.
- Robert (6/5): - If you are a golfer, it's great. Otherwise, not much to do except enjoy the scenery. Restaurant: just ok.
- Jody (10/5): - Love the location. Staff friendly and restaurant very good.
