Upon cleaning yourself, you leave all the area wet. This is the issue with the toilet. Besides that great location, a plunge pool (do not assume all the rooms have a pool - there is only one)

• lorettahon (8/5): Budget and spacious stay with perfect location. - Good points: 1. Location!!!! Just 5 mins walk to the Ao Nang Beach. And from there you can take the long tail boat to the Railay beach/4 Islands!! Although someone thinks that staying in Ao Nang Beach is too touristic, it is really convenient considering you need to take shower immediately after visiting beaches/islands. And there are many shops and restaurants around too! 2. Budget Price with such location 3. Room is spacious !!! with a nice balcony. 4. Generally clean. 5. Consistent and strong supply of hot water. 6. Smart TV provided. 7. Some guests say that the hotel is noisy, but if you stay in the B session, it is extremely quiet at night. Bad points: 1. The toilet design is quite outdated. Not many spaces/hooks to put your stuff in the toilet. 2. There are many insects and mosquitos. 3. Staff are not very attentive.
• 654gema (10/5): Lovely Resort - This is a little tropical oasis right in the heart of Ao Nang by the beach. Really friendly and helpful staff, the trips were much cheaper than on the street. The rooms were comfortable. Our only gripe was that we had a noisy AC unit outside our bathroom. But we wore ear plugs so it was ok. I’d definitely stay here again as it was so reasonable.

• Darius (10/5): Whalecom Ao Nang stay - This is a great stay here the hotelwas well located in an area not far from the beach. There are quite a few amenities all within a short distance. The groundsof ghe hotel were not very well kept but the location help to make ford being so close to the beach. I wasn't particularly happy with the room as it. It appears that the room has not been dusted quite some time and there was a nail sticking out of the floor as you entered the bathroom overall, I will give this property a rating of 3 out of 5

• Ross (10/5): - This property is very cute and is in an amazing location. The room was very nice and clean with an extremely comfortable bed. The breakfast that was included was cooked to order and yummy. The hotel was so close to everything (restaurants, the beach, the fire show and so many stores) that I couldn’t have asked for a better location. The only downside of this hotel was the pool because it was so tiny however we did not care because we had the beach. The price, room , location and cleanliness was amazing and I would highly recommend staying here.

• NicoleAndy-1999 (10/5): Honest with integrity! Great staff - I was very hesitant when we first walked up the hill to Whalecome. It is a very small hotel, but in all honesty what more do you need. Our room was VERY CLEAN. Although there is wear and mostly from the tropical setting the room did the trick. They also had the most comfortable bed that we had slept on in the 2 weeks we were in Thailand. Pool area is small but clean and does the trick to cool u off. Breakfast was small but good. Really no complaints especially because it is included with your stay. It is also surprising quiet in the rooms. Here is the best bonus. The staff is amazing. They were kind and accommodating. We stayed here for 2 nights. The day we were checking out , I had not noticed that I left my wallet in the safe. The manager had a hard time tracking us down but ended up finding a number to reach us at through expedia. He found us back in Canada and told us he had my wallet. He was kind enough to take it to DHL and mail it to us. I was in total shock. He actually took time and phoned us. And offered to .ail it to us. Like what?? I am telling you if we were in Mexico and left my wallet it would have been gone and emptied and I guarantee you my credit card would have been used. I am so grateful and thankful Whalecome has honesty and integrity in their staff. I highly recommend this place. The price is good. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are clean.

• Magioritis (6/5): In need of some TLC - The rooms were cleans. The staff very nice and the pool was clean and warm. The grounds were in very poor shape. Railings on patios were rusted and worn. Wood beams over the patio were black with mildew. Walls on the building exterior were chipped and black w mildew. Pool deck was worn and badly in need of paint. The entire exterior needs paint and a pressure wash. The patios didn’t have any comfortable chairs. With a little effort and paint, this could be brought back to life.

The breakfast was good and quite sufficient The ladies cooking breakfast were so lovely .. The room very clean with great aircon. My only complaint would be that the bathrooms were very dirty, there was no shampoo, no windows or natural light without exposing yourself to everybody, and the lock on the door made me feel very unsafe. It’s just a sliding door. Keep in mind, the location is unreal. Bed was clean and decently comfy but the bathroom was horrifying, and I had to buy shampoo.

• Rômulo (10/5): Excellent location, good breakfast - Very good experience. The inn has an excellent location, a good breakfast, and a nice room. The bed was great, the air conditioning worked well, and the bathroom was good. The shower wasn't great but worked properly. One detail to improve is to remind the cleaning staff not to smoke in the rooms while they are cleaning. On one of the four nights, our room had a smell of cigarette.

• Martin (8/5): Superfint lille hotel midt i Krabi. - Superfin lille oase i Krabi tæt på strand og meget hyggelig lille have. Hyggeligt og meget venligt personale. Eneste minus - som ikke er hotellets fejl som sådan er, at der er ekstremt lydt mellem værelser. Vi havde en nabo med 2 børn som var voldsomt støjende praktisk taget hele dagen.

• Jennifer (10/5): A must stay - We stayed for 4 nights in Whalecome..... the room was comfortable and spotless. The pool was perfect for a cool down in the hot afternoons. Staff were friendly and helpful. They assisted us in booking our island boat tour and airport transfer. Location was so central. It was right in the heart of Aonang but yet had a tranquil feel to the whole resort. The beds were the most comfortable bed we stayed in on our travels. Overall would highly recommend Whalecome.... cant wait to come back

• JainArpit (10/5): Beautiful resort at best location - The best resort near to Aonang beach, perfect location, very nearer to beach and market. The rooms are clean and beautifully designed. They have balcony for each room. When you entered the room, you feel that positive vibe out there, they have a small pool but perfect and clean. There is a small park area and have couple of areas where you can click your perfect photos. The man at the reception is so polite and available till 11 PM. You can book your different trips from there and can negotiate with them. They provide best service. 7/11 store is in front of the hotel.

• 919brentg (6/5): Five star staff, three star property - Booked 6 nights but left after one. Front desk graciously refunded the rest of our stay. Beds quite comfortable and great location on a quiet side street just off the strip. However room was cramped, no place to sit other than one sharp cornered wooden stool. Room opened directly up to pool area - no privacy. Pool tiny and water looked cloudy. Most disappointing was the condition of the room - sink faucet was loose and flopping, toilet seat ditto, towel rack was pulling off the wall, overall a bit run down. Probably ideal for many but for someone wanting to "spoil" themselves for a few days in paradise this did not fit the bill for us.
• 1015sli (10/5): Highlight of our trip! - I stayed at Whalecome with my boyfriend for the 2 nights we had in Krabi and this little place really made our trip special. We were checked in and greeted by a lovely Thai lady, super kind and helpful. She helped us book a day trip to Phi Phi island, the cost of the trip was less than what was being sold in the stalls on the street. Very honest. We didn't expect much of the place but it was very clean. It's basic and you need to bring your own bath amenities and toothbrush but they have all the essentials there, towel, blower dryer, water etc. Would recommend for anyone looking for a casual place to stay if you're going to be spending the day out. We did see a lot of back packers staying here as well.

Everything in this place, the warmth of the staff, the cleanliness, the location , the rooms are just perfect. Absolutely loved it .

• 234angelines (10/5): Awesome stay, feels like home! - I spent 7 nights with Whalecome and the stay was fantastic! Room was comfortable and the swimming pool is so relaxing. The staffs and resort manager, Penny, were super helpful and friendly. I have booked all my trips through the resort and they were well organized and reasonable price too. I miss the tranquil feeling of the resort and love the garden and the friendly cat. Location is great, it is pretty near the beach and the Thai family restaurant is just next door for your convenience. Overall, the resort makes you feel like you are at home!

• antt2 (10/5): Lovely resort with lovely people - We stayed for 2 nights and was very well taken care of, especially by Peony and her team. We booked a 4-island trip through the reception desk and best value ever. The breakfast is wonderful, that comes with a glass of juice and coffee at the side. The pool though small but great to cool off in. We also get to meet the resident cat, a lovely and feisty little lady!
• Suk Ping (8/5): - Overall is good and convenient. Walkable distance. Just need to standby mosquito repellent. Friendly staff. Yummy 😋 Family restaurant authentic local food, just right outside the resort. Highly recommended. Will choose the same resort again.

Breakfast was fast delevered and good. - This is a very save, clean and cosy resort at 300mtr from the beach and in the middle of the centre. The lady at the frontdesk is more than nice, she helped me booking trips and gave me the best advise on where to go. I did had a wonderful time here. BTW perfect airconditioning in the rooms and with a fantastic bed in the room, matrasses 30cm thick, i did sleep good and took long naps. The swimmingpool was a nice extra thing. I took a swim every night.

The surrounding is very touristy, and has many tourist services. The service is amazing as well. Includes room service every day with a refill of water bottles. Reception was very friendly as well

• Peterand (10/5): - The Hotel was spotlessy clean, staff unbelievable friendly especially on reception and at breakfast. Pool side rooms were excellent for the price bed so comfy patio doors and small balcony only 5 metres from the pool. Hotel situated 300 metres from main beach 50 metres from main street up a small hill. Close enough to all the bars and restaurants but far enough away so it was very quiet at night. Top tip for anybody staying there. There is a restaurant next door called the family restaurant please go in and try their food and the friendly welcome that you have. You will not be disappointed. We would stay there again without hesitation.

The property is quiet and tranquil and our room was always cleaned with fresh sheets and towels on a daily basis. The pool is cleaned multiple times daily and fresh towels are always given for the beach or time at the pool. The Main Street of Krabi can be loud and busy but you don’t hear a thing at the resort. Overall we were here for 5 days and loved every minute of it.

We have no complaints about this clean resort that was so perfectly located; its in the main area of Aonang road yet it gives you the beautiful serenity of being amid nature. Whalecome surprised us; my best friend's birthday was on the second day of our stay there and when we got back to the room they had decorated our room with a birthday sign! We can't express how utterly sweet everyone there is and no doubt, will stay there again if we come to Krabi again. Thank you Whalecome, for giving us such wonderful memories of Krabi.

• KH (10/5): Nice hotel but has mosquito - The hotel in nicely located near the central of Aonang. However, there are sands on the floor and mosquitos in the room. Not a problem to us after we swept the floor and killed the mosquitos.
