- Hollis (9/5): A beautiful stay with some stunning views and friendly wallaby visitors. The room was lovely and clean and had everythin - The location and the room was lovely! Staff were very friendly. The breakfast was great! Seemed like a lot of the facilities were still being built and could hear the road in the morning
- robyn (7/5): Everything bar the lack of maintenance on windows. But that is a big issue. - Breakfast beyond expectations, setting charming. Lunch great We were most irritated that the glamping tent zips were seized.it was very hot. We wished to open top half windows for breeze and view.but unsuccessful in all but one window still with one seized zip so couldn't open just top. Rang reception. She returned call so say no staff available. Never heard another thing. Not impressed.
- Lee-Louise (8/5): Beautiful place to stay - Stunning surrounds. Utterly relaxing. The restaurant served fantabulous meals and breakfast hit the spot too! The accommodation was very expensive for this particular booking. We stayed 2 nights whilst attending the 5k foam fest.
However I've made exactly the same reservation again for 2027 and the price is significantly less (so, this time round I'm very happy).
- Peter (10/5): This was an amazing property amd totally relaxing - The nature and tranquility of the property was beautiful
- Kaylene (10/5): Serene Sirromet - Ambience, surrounds, facilities - everything was perfect. Leaving

- Laura (10/5): Lovely restful time with family - Peaceful environment and wildlife
- Kate (10/5): - Great location, great facilities, restaurant was lovely. Clean, grounds well kept
- Weti (10/5): - Everything, we had no hot water but we made a call and within 5 mins we had someone down and we were sorted.they explained the confusion about the situation and less than 2 mins later we had hot water.... Seems the things I don't like don't really matter as the provided alternative were just as amazing or better...
- Vincent (10/5): Was a surprise for my partners birthday and we had a wonderful stay - Beautiful relaxing atmosphere Nothing!
- Jo (10/5): -
- Karell (9/5): Girls one night away - The location. Beautiful setting, very calming. Good restaurant near by to go for dinner, nice simple bfast. We had the best time with my girlfriends and our little weekend gateaway. Nothing
- Judy (9/5): Glorious glamping - This was our 2nd stay and we enjoyed it just as much as the 1st. Its an idyllic spot and lovely to sit out on the verandah and watch the wildlife and the stars in the evening. We ate at the Tuscan restaurant onsite which is lovely and a 10 minute gentle stroll from the accommodation but wear flat shoes as its a bit uneven. A torch is thoughtfully provided and is needed. Coffee maker and pods provided and an outstanding breakfast at the cafe, highly recommend the avocado toast, best I have had and breakfast is included in the package. Looking forward to another visit. Some extra coathangers and some more insect spray but I could have called to ask for those but we were only there 1 night so it wasnt a big deal at all.
- Dan (9/5): -
- Kathryn (9/5): -
- Michael (9/5): - Location is amazing.
- Michael (10/5): A beautiful place to stay with a restaurant with great food and service . - The venue and property is in a beautiful setting where wildlife of many bird species are seen as well as wallabies and the occasional
Bilby being seen. It is set in such a tranquil place with glamping that is extremely comfortable and has views of the landscape and nature at your front door. The team of staff are very professional and friendly and very helpful for any situation. Both the Restaurant and Cafe have great food and options for the guests that suit each and everyone’s needs.
Prices are more than reasonable and the cellar door have wine for display and choosing at a reasonable price.
Sirromet accomodation and wine tours and restaurant and cafe outlets provide excellent value .
This centre should be congratulated for their service and their hospitality and the quality of their accommodation. We certainly will be back again for such a relaxing time with value for money as well as a team to attend to your needs in a genuine happy display of good service and good vibes . The restaurant Lurleens was not open for day to day guests and is only used as venue for weddings and events. Disappointing as the information on the internet displays food menus and availability for being open to visitors and guests.
- Bridie (10/5): Beautiful Stay! - Everything! Nothing it was beautiful
- Partridge (9/5): -
- Rachel (5/5): Lovely location but need to spread out more - Beautiful location and lots of wildlife Unfortunately tents are very close together and a couple in a neighboring tent were having a very loud argument throughout the night into the early hours of the next day.
- Sam (10/5): An overall peaceful experience. - The breakfast was great. The room was very clean and tidy on the inside. The room also had a nice view on the small balcony at the entrance. Very quiet and peaceful at night and we loved seeing all the wallabies. It was also very convenient to stay there after our engagement party earlier that day at Lurleen's. Not much really. There were some birds around the cafe area in the morning that wanted some of our breakfast. It didn't bother me really (it's part of being in nature!), but my partner is a bit frightened of birds when they get so close like they were.
- Alaina (10/5): The perfect getaway - Glamping (with AC) on a wallaby sanctuary, that is a winery. How can it get any better?? Amazing breakfast too n/a
- Tom (10/5): Comfortable getaway - Liked it so much when we got there that we booked a second night. Restaurant was good. Friendly wild life. Friendly staff. Peaceful walks through nearby natural reserves. Nothing really
- Lexie (10/5): - Amazing views, lots of Wildlife, the food and wine was amazing, accommodation was really nice and well maintained all round. Amazing and helpful staff. Would be nice if they had more meat options on the dinner menu as it was mostly seafood. They did have a crumbed pork and it was amazing though. But definitely need more meat options
- Yvonne (8/5): -
- Sarah (10/5): -
- Lisa (10/5): Glamping at it's finest! -
- Ruth (3/5): Very loud with the Harry Potter experience going on very close to our tents. - average breakfast with only 2 choices more choices
- Jacob (10/5): Great - The privacy and felt immersed in the nature The Harry Potter walk being right next to room
- Margaret (10/5): This is a great place to stay in Brisbane. - The breakfast was lovely. The staff were very friendly and the food at the Tuscan Terrace was delicious. Nothing.
- Carolyn (10/5): Love it, and will continue to come back for all work trips. - The breakfast is fantastic now. The downside to the breakfast, is that there is little choice for when you are staying for 2 nights. As I don't like Avocado, that meant Bacon and Eggs 2 mornings in a row, and that was a bit much. Another alternative might be worth investigating.
- Lynn (9/5): A really nice stay in a tranquil setting - The surroundings were delightful, the staff were excellent, frindly and helpful and the location was great for our needs. The breakfast was lovely and the restaurant was nice.
- Ann (9/5): -
- Laura (7/5): -
- Teddie (10/5): - The staff were fantastic!!
Loved the lagoon and that there was a picnic rug in the room!
The wildlife were an amazing bonus That we didn't book a wine tour in advance, and they were full up. Next time!
- Teaguen (10/5): Absolutely beautiful all round - Everything about the accommodation was excellent. The breakfast included in the price was bellissimo! 😋 Nothing
- Xavier (10/5): -
- Alan (8/5): Great staff, great location and great food. Accommodation could use more attention. - Staff were great. Resturant service and food were fabulous(dinners and breakfasts) Beds and location of the cottage (we stayed in the Wine Makers Cottage) was great. Photos didn’t match the accommodation facilities (furnishings have changed, the lower deck no longer exists, the hammock is gone). We were mistakenly charged for bar fridge items we never had (this was rectified but is part of the hassle of having bar fridge and having to leave bar fridge deposit). The forest of ports-loos in the view scape from the restaurant and accomodation is not a good look and should be improved between events.
- Sherliya (10/5): - Clean Noise from neighbouring room is noticeable
- Shelly Ditton (8/5): Booked out of necessity
Turned out to be the best weekend our family needed to mourn & heal in peace - The peace and quiet 🤫 Wallaby's everywhere and the sounds of the wildlife around you. No wifi so noone can bother you and you truly can unwind and unplug!
The double shower is lovely and the options from the mini bar wine, spirits n soft drinks with complimentary water, tea n coffee.
The robes for each guest are a lovely touch
The Breakfasts were dine in and table service.
Absolutely beautifully set out, and to start they bring out a plate of continental breakfast with a mini croissant, a mini muffin, a lovely Greek yoghurt with some muesli n a home-made Berry compote and some fruit to start while eating for your hot tea, coffee or hot chocolate.
Then you can choose between avo toast, bacon n eggs or pancakes with icecream n Berry compote.
Absolutely Beautiful, fresh and very tasty meal. The shower door does not have privacy locks in the door and the roller doors do not close for complete privacy and when you are with your children... this is not good!! No lock means no boundaries and alone time for mum n dad without the kiddies opening up the door with no warning! Great for people who travel together n wanna make sure the other person gets it but 🤔🤣 the hot steam did also set of the fire alarm, because the door doesn't seal n the alarm is just outside the shower door on the wall above, so the heat created steamed up the wall n set it off 😂☠️😂
All good though cause we got that sorted real quick, but it did give us and the kiddies the fright of a lifetime (and really threw off the whole vibe, but welcome to parenthood!!)
Honestly... even the "bad stuff" made for awesomely funny memories 😄
Great place for mum n dad and the kids to unwind, or leave the little love gremlins with gramma and escape for a weekend n enjoy what the Winery really has to offer!!

- Janelle (10/5): Wanna see a wallabie? Stay at Sirromet! - I liked the drive on to the property, wallabies on the grass around the vines, the staff were lovely and welcoming, the drive down to the accommodation again wallabies all around and it’s picturesque, the accommodation was just as I expected and perfect for a family. Can’t put a price on lying there listening to nature. Saw 2 brush tailed possums, lots of cane toads (not a good thing but impossible to control, part and parcel of life in QLD), kookaburras and birds. The breakfast each morning was really good and enough to get you through to dinner. Coffee is great (this matters ALOT!). The winery is lovely, I only got to try one wine. Nothing to dislike, just know you will see the odd creepy crawly. We only saw 3 in the 4 days we stayed and easy to remove. Don’t be afraid, you won’t regret staying there.
- Laura (9/5): - Perfect stay for those looking to rest and enjoy a peaceful time. The breakfast was good and the restaurant was good as well.
- Steven (9/5): -
- Sarah (10/5): -
- Choden (10/5): -
- karampal (10/5): -
- Camille (10/5): - Amazing breakfast. The hour limit for check-in is too early (4.30 pm).
- Kam Yuk (9/5): - 酒莊環境清雅, 草地上可看見不少袋鼠, 食物也不錯.
- julie (10/5): So peaceful, super comfortable bed, great breakfast and friendly staff. - Wallabies, beautiful all
Around the entire property
Awesome breakfast
- Melissa (10/5): -
- Inez (10/5): The stay , was stunning. Our timing was great with the full moon & the drone show . - It was in nature The mosquito s ( but they are everywhere)
- Ryelan (8/5): -
- patrick (10/5): -
- Sandra (8/5): Nature experience - Clean and great setting. Wallabies were a delightful sight to behold, a lot of joeys still in Moms pouch. An experience not just a stay. Great breakfast Stayed in 2 different pavilions. No 3 had no bathroom door, no milk or tissues in room but were delivered by reception within an hour.
- Sharon (9/5): -
- Sarah (9/5): A wonderful quick easy close rural retreat in the midst of Brisbane - In the middle of nowhere in the middle of Brisbane-Wallabies Wine and good food everywhere. We walked everywhere.Very relaxing. A bit close to neighbours.
- Raymond (1/5): - Nice to see wallabies roaming freely. Lots.Never had the prepaid breakfast because we are over 80yrs old and unable to walk uphill and downhill to the restaurant.A buggy facility should be provided for the elderly without transportation. No phones ,TV,WiFi in the cabins and no staff in sight. Too far from any shops.
- Sally (10/5): Peaceful Pavilion - Beautiful scenery, peaceful area
And friendly staff A little confusing getting to the pavilions
- Cassandra (8/5): It was lovely to reconnect without TVs and enjoy the peaceful surrounds! - It was quiet and peaceful and a total change and the rooms were very nice and comfortable! Having no sink to access water for the kettle and to rinse used dishes although the bathroom was accessible….
- Bridget (10/5): One of the best stays the staff were so lovely - Clean and comfortable Nothing
- Luke (10/5): Beautiful setting and very comfortable stay. - beautiful glamping setup. The safari tents were comfortable and well equiped. The wildlife is great and you'll have kangaroos walking right up to you.
The winery is huge and very beautiful, with views across the area. its a fair walk up the hill to the winery and restaurant from the accommodation. However that was part of the charm and ensured it was nice and quiet in the rooms.
- Renae (9/5): Amazing area with amazing food. - Very beautiful facilities and grounds There was a vintage show on at the time which disrupted using the roadways around the facility.
- Kate (10/5): -
- Phil (8/5): -
- Aaron (7/5): -
- Elizabeth (10/5): Glamping at its best and on site restaurant - The scenery, atmosphere and comfort N/a
- Candi (5/5): -
- Josh (8/5): -
- Marney (8/5): Lovely relaxing fun weekend getaway - Lovely time spent here, nice tented pavillion, clean and tidy, comfortable bed, enjoyable day and evening, a very knowledge lady led our wine tour and tasting, excellent harry potter experience onsite, nice breakfast, good vibes.
- Susan (10/5): - Everything especially the wildlife Another evening restaurant would of been nice
- Matt (8/5): -
- Bethany (9/5): Would definitely recommend - The staff, the restaurant, the surroundings -
Fabulous
- Sandra (10/5): -
- Olivia (4/5): beautiful setting but dissatisfied as no sanctuary element - the setting was beautiful they were blasting music until 10:30pm, which is not what you expect for a ‘sanctuary’ experience. I had no heads up this was happening, but if I had of been aware of the noise I certainly would have cancelled my booking for the dates during the ‘Harry potter’ experience.
- Melynda (10/5): Peaceful paradise - All meals eaten at the property were amazing.
Great peaceful location, perfect setting to unwind and recharge. Everything was perfect
- Alexandra (10/5): I would not hesitate to return - A beautiful place to stay. Staff are friendly and attentive. The grounds are well maintained and the Harry Potter experience was spectacular. Our cabin was spotless, bathroom was large and clean, kitchenette is well equipped and bed and pillows were very comfortable. We dined in the restaurant, a relaxing atmosphere and the food was fresh and meals delicious. Cellar door offers a good range of wines. Breakfast was included in the price, was of generous size, again delicious and coffee was great. Nothing, I could not fault our stay
- Anne (9/5): -
- Judi (9/5): Peaceful - Peaceful glamping. Lovely food. No mossies coils or spray. We were on a lake and they were vicious.
- Anne (8/5): Lovely pavilions, nice bush setting. - Noise from, Harry Potter event. Breakfast staff rather cold
- Naomi (9/5): It was nice relaxing place to stay. - Nice environment with trees, birds and wallabies. The bed was comfortable and we liked the balcony. The reception lady at check-in counter was so friendly and helpful. Unfortunately no restaurant and no room service open on Mondays & Tuesdays. There are no places to do take aways or dine in after 3pm on those days. It would be good if there is a kiosk or selling dinner boxes in the property.
- Bahr (9/5): - just being able to relax in nice surroundings Other people up late at night drinking and being very noisy in a Sanctuary environment it did spoil the experience
- Lesley (10/5): - I loved how peaceful it was. The politeness of the hotel cleaning crew. The cleanliness of the room. The Harry Potter experience was amazing, I highly recommend doing it if you're staying there. The Tuscan restaurant food was delicious.
- Deb (5/5): -
- Andrew (9/5): - Peaceful location with plenty of kangaroos wallabys and birds
