• Adrie (9/5): Fijn verblijf op een rustige locatie. - Lekker knus, typisch Japans huisje in een rustige buurt. Goed schoon en heerlijk geslapen. Foto’s matchen niet 100%. De zitbank was oncomfortabel.

It was 20 minutes away from Kyoto Station and had a small grocery store just around the corner. We liked the accommodation being situated down a little alleyway, it felt authentic.

• K (10/5): Awesome stay - Easy to commute to the places of interest in Kyoto. With the bus stop, only 4 min away and the train station is about 12 min walk. The place is cozy and extremely quiet and peaceful. There is also Netflix. Having a washing machine with a drying function was wonderful. Staff is friendly and helpful, when I encountered a problem with Netflix, they came and fixed it. Looks exactly like the pictures posted. Hmm....nothing

• Luciënne (9/5): Fantastisch huis in Japanse stijl - Gewoon een fantastisch huis in Japanse stijl maar toch ook modern. We konden ook gebruik maken van fietsen met kinderzitjes (en helmen). Dit was erg fijn en leuk om te fietsen. Wij hebben beide snel last van onze rug, maar hebben hier goed geslapen. Een van ons is 1.85 en moest de hele tijd gebukt door het huis lopen en stootte alsnog geregeld zijn hoofd. Daarnaast is het een gehorig huis (zoals ieder huis in Japan denk ik) en onze kinderen zijn behoorlijk druk. Ook had één kind last van een jetlag en was midden in de nacht klaarwakker. Het was echt het verzoek om rustig en stil te zijn voor de buren dus heeft dit ons veel stress gegeven. Ondanks deze puntjes zouden we hier alsnog weer heen gaan.

• Murata (10/5): 京都駅付近に近くて旅行を楽しめました。 - 京都の中心地まで近い、最寄り駅も2ヶ所ある。 自転車もあり近距離の移動が便利でした。お鍋や食器、調味料など充実しており自炊するならば良い環境です。少し離れていますが駐車場も付いているのが良かった。 エアコンがトイレまで行き届かないため、トイレが暑かったです。隣の家との距離が近く、騒音など近隣の家への配慮が必要です。
• gala (10/5): - 宿泊前から質問には親切に教えて頂き、宿に入る前からエアコンなどの整っていました。部屋も清潔にされていて、備品も揃っていて、大変快適でした。また利用したいと思います。 地図、案内をされていても、場所で迷ってしまいました。路地に曲がるところに目印ごあると良かったかも。
• Hiromi (10/5): とても良い宿泊施設です - 大人6人ベビー1人で利用させてもらいましたが、広さも充分でしたし清潔でした。ベビー連れの大雨で少し早めのチェックインをお願いした所、快くご対応頂きました。 また機会がありましたら利用させて頂きたいです。 御手洗に換気扇がなく、窓の網戸もなかったので消臭スプレーがあると助かりました。 あと、ラップがあると良かったです。

It was nice to be able to 'stretch out' after quite small Tokyo hotel room. Nothing. It was perfect for us [two adults and two children].

There are some antiques and collections of the owners. They place a Japanese Samurai Armor in one of the bedroom, it faced directly at the spot of Futons where we sleep, which is quite creepy as if someone is watching you.

I traveled with the family of 4. 2 bedrooms on the second floor, one room with 2 queen beds and another room with traditional style futons. my mom love washer and dryer machine, very convenient. Small kitchen, but very well organized. The host also provided a free parking and 2 bikes. We stay for 2 nights. We stayed many places in 2 weeks ,but my mom love this place the most. Very hard to find the place, because we arrived late night. It was no sign at the front alley.

Full amenities from basic toiletries to kitchen amenities, they got you all covered! As if moving your own house to Kyoto. You can even use their salt and pepper! 3. Great Location near Lawson for groceries and tourist site like Toji Temple 4. Very high speed WIFI. 5. Once we entered the room it was fresh air and smells fragrant even the beddings and towels were all amazing! 6. The soap in toilet is refreshing! Perfect way to relax your sore foot/body in their hot tub. 7. The sofa converts to a bed which is nice for your parents who frequently use toilet at night. 8. Heater is sufficient! You won't feel cold. They have 3 units of 3 aircon which also functions as heater. 9. They speak fluent ENGLISH even the staff who clean was very kind and hospitable! 10. The owner will make sure you won't get lost and quickly replies by Booking app chat. It is normal in Japan to be quiet. So if your kids are noisy, please put them to sleep before 9pm 😊
• Glen (7/5): Overall it was a good place to spend the night. - The house structure is old but the indoor was clean and had all the stuff that we need as a family with kids. The heating facility on the ground floor can still be improved. We weren't comfortable staying there for long cos it gets cold on a sub 10 degrees temperature.
• Belinda (9/5): Authentic house near kyoto - The hotel was very convenient for the local train station with frequent trains into kyoto Town centre, from there you can visit the many attractions of kyoto. I liked that the house is in a residential area so you get a more authentic feel. The house was well equipped and there were at least 2 convenience stores within a ten minute walk Although it was nice to have traditional Japanese futons in one of the bedrooms they can be uncomfortable if you're not used to them.

• Mia (10/5): A mix of traditional and modern Japan, it was just what we were looking for on our trip to Kyoto - I loved staying at this property, it was so cute and comfortable. Great location, very affordable and owner was fantastic at communicating everything we needed to know about checking in and the house. Highly recommend Not a big fan of sleeping on the floor on a futon but this seems to be the norm. Nothing really it was perfect for us.

• Akiko (10/5): Perfect place to stay in Kyoto. - Property is close to Kyoto Station. Cost about ¥1000 yen to get there. Very clean, it's modern and classic Japanese at the same time. Everything you could ask for is available. One modern bedroom area and one classic tatami room. Kitchen with fridge, stove, sink, rice maker and much much more. Also a Japanese tub with shower feature. If you need to wash clothes there is a washing machines that dries as well. All information/instructions for using appliances are all explained in manual. Was a absolutely wonderful place to say in Kyoto. Would 100% stay here again and recommend to others. Everything was great.
• Gert (9/5): value-for-money stay at a property whose owner is quick to respond to any possible issues - The location is within walking distance of Kyoto railway station, though the owner recommends taking the subway (one stop). There is a washer-dryer which ran into a problem when we used it. The owner immediately replaced it, and had staff take out our wet laundry, wash it further at a laundromat, dry it, fold it and return it to us! The proximity to neighbors and wooden, creaking staircase, plus thin walls, means that you are asked to be very careful not to make too much noise. Not a problem for me, a bit more difficult for teenagers.

Almost all instructions have manual, safety concerns very clear. They have many interesting Japanese figure, picture and books. Owner very helpful and easy to communicate. Should be no actually accept the narrow way to this place a little bit tricky for first timer. But it acceptable for this area
