• Anita (9/5): Heel fijn! - De locatie is erg fijn! Heel centraal ten opzichte van alles. Top bedden. Lekker ruime kamer en fijn dat er aan de voorzijde een parkje zit. Het inchecken en uitchecken gaat erg soepel en het personeel is erg aardig. Als je met de auto komt moet je even zoeken waar je kunt parkeren om uit te laden.

• tasty1111 (10/5): Georgeous Gorka - Small but perfectly formed the Gorka is the perfect spot for a weekend in San Sebastián. Walkable to all the beaches and restaurants and Katti and her front desk team were one of the best I have encountered all over the world. As the hotel is small they really take an interest in guests and we felt so well looked after. The rooms are beautifully fitted out with high ceilings and immaculately clean so the back room staff deserve a special mention for keeping everything to smart. We will be back as it was a superb experience.

Bu otel Barcelona’daki otelimizin daha iyi olduğunu söyleyebilirim. Ama burası da çoğu standardı korumuş. Kahvaltısı çok çeşitli ve muhteşemdi her zamanki gibi. Çalışanlar nazik ve ilgiliydi. Şan Sebastian’a gelsem yine tercih ederim burayı. Odası biraz küçük ve kasvetliydi.

Reception staff very helpful on advice, bookings etc and genuinely friendly. Thank you so much Eugenia, for making our stay in Donostia wonderful from the very start. And Ainhoa who was also very helpful. Very good breakfast - nice environment in cafe/bar. Staff friendly and working hard to give guests best possible experience - breakfast set up beautifully. May need more staff at times, as when only one person on, they are under huge pressure when have to manage breakfast area, keep replenished, take orders and cook different egg dishes. All you could ask for in a quality boutique hotel. So much better than chain hotel. And so much more service support than Airbnb to navigate and make the most of a visit to an unfamiliar city. We were celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary, and could not have asked for a better experience. Bottle of Riocha wine in room, cards and room setup were nice touch. We look forward to returning. Highly recommended.

You can walk everywhere (or take a bus/train to Pasaia or France). The rooms are very large with comfortable beds. The bathroom is great. Whenever you are visiting San Sebastián, you must stay here. Baño correcto, con algunas amenities, pone que hay zapatillas, pero hay que pedirlas en recepción. Personal de recepción muy amable. Volveremos a este hotel. Desayuno correcto, pero falta personal y tardan mucho en reponer, tienes que ir pidiendo siempre, si no tienes prisa, no es un problema. Comentar que la habitación duplex, a mí me gustó mucho porque es muy tranquila, no se oye ruido de la ciudad, tiene ventanas que estan muy altas y no puedes asomarte, sólo es para que los clientes futuros lo sepan.

• Christopher (10/5): Experience San Sebastian and stay at the Room Mate Gorka. You will love them both. - The ladies at the front desk were friendly and very helpful. After we explained what our plan were they offered excellent advice for two day trips. Both were short bus rides away and the buses were cheap and easy to take. One of the busses took us to a ferry which after a few minutes took us to a French beach. Both great day trips. The room was great. And breakfast which we opted to take after we got there was excellent. In addition to a good selection of different food they offered bacon and eggs made to order. They even had vodka for you to make a bloody Mary and sparkling wine if you preferred. We chose the location in between the old city and the new to make it easy to walk to either or both. We loved San Sebastian. It was clean, beautiful and the pintcho capital of the world. Nothing
