• MaBed (9/5): - L'emplacement central et proche de tout à pieds. La disponibilité du propriétaire en cas de besoin. Un peu à l'étroit avec 2 enfants une fois le canapé lit déplié, mais ce n'était pas très grave étant donné que nous étions beaucoup en sortie à l'extérieur.

Muy bien situado , cerca de la estación de tren . Aceptan mascotas . La amabilidad del propietario En cuanto al estudio todo perfecto. El único inconveniente el aparcamiento ( estacioné en el aparcamiento de la estación y resultó caro - con el añadido de no ser un parking vigilado ). Estaría bien tener un parking concertado

• Wikström (9/5): Centralt och jättebra boende - Supercentralt läge, bara 5 minuters promenad från tågstationen. Vår lägenhet låg mot en ganska tråkig och skräpig innergård, det fanns terrass, men så liten och smal så att sitta där var helt uteslutet. Sköna sängar och gott om plats i lägenheten , vi var 5 vuxna. Trots det mycket centrala läget var det knäpptyst på nätterna. Kommunikation med värden skedde via WhatsApp och funkade jättebra. Vi fick alltid snabba svar. Hade förhoppning att kunna äta frukost ute på terrassen, men det var bara att glömma då terrassen var jätteliten och saknade möbler.

• Annette (10/5): - Wir waren das erste Mal in La Spezia und das Appartement habe ich ausgesucht, weil die Lage auf der Karte gut aussah und die Fotos der Unterkunft mir sehr gut gefallen haben. Beide Aspekte wurden weit übertroffen. Die Lage war genial, aus dem Gebäude heraus, direkt in das bunte Treiben der Stadt. Zahlreiche Sehenswürdigkeiten von La Spezia, der Hafen, das Castello, die Kirchen und Plätze des historischen Zentrums, aber auch Restaurants, Cafés, Geschäfte und Supermärkte sind fußläufig zu erreichen. Für weiter entferntere Ziele kommt man schnell zum Bus oder Zug. Das Appartement war, wie auf den Fotos, mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet, , sauber und großzügig. Es war mit allem Relevanten ausgestattet, um sich selbst zu verpflegen, was wir allerdings nicht oft genutzt haben, da es zu viele verlockende Restaurants direkt vor unserer Nase gab. Unser Kontakt vor Ort, Giordano, war super sympathisch und hilfsbereit. Zum Beispiel hat er uns einen Parkplatz für die Dauer des Aufenthaltes vermittelt, denn wir sind mit dem Auto angereist. Er war immer erreichbar und hatte gute Tips für Ausflüge für uns parat. Grazie Mille è cordiali saluti 🤩.

• PW (9/5): Fantastisch! - Unieke ligging, midden een gezellige straat met voldoende eetgelegenheden. Dichtbij de station, dus ideaal om op die manier Cinque Tierra per trein te verkennen. Appartement was netjes en goed ingericht. Het keukenblok was ook van alles voorzien. Wij verbleven in het appartement 2 nachten met vier volwassen. Parkeren is prima van te voren regelen, zodat je de auto veilig kunt achterlaten in een parkeergarage op loopafstand. Host was ook goed bereikbaar en heel prettig in communicatie.

• Anne (10/5): Perfect studio apartment for seeing the Cinque Terre. - Confortable studio apartment, situated on the main pedestrian street with plenty of restaurants. Our studio looked out onto a courtyard so there was no noise. We were glad to have booked the private parking space as parking looked to be a problem in la Spezia. The apartment was ideally situated between the station and the port for getting the train or the ferry to the villages.

The apartment was conveniently located next to the train station and there were several places to eat nearby. The apartment was spacious and the air conditioning worked well and was welcome in the summer heat. The beds were very comfortable and Gio was extremely responsive. We highly recommend his place. Everything was great!

The front entrance is located on a back street that's not accessible by car. It was a challenge to find it and load and unload our luggage.

We loved sitting on the balcony and seeing all the people of the town walk by. The apartment has stunning decor and was perfectly clean. The hosts were so attentive and accommodating and helpful. This was our favorite stay in Italy.

As soon as I stepped into La Casa di Gio, I was greeted by a warm and inviting ambiance that instantly made me feel at home. The tasteful decor, with its subtle blend of modern and traditional elements, created a cozy and comforting environment that was a delight to return to after a day of exploring the beautiful Cinque Terre region. Cleanliness is of utmost importance to me when choosing accommodations, and La Casa di Gio surpassed all expectations. The entire property was spotless, from the well-maintained rooms to the pristine common areas. It was evident that the owners take great pride in providing a meticulously clean and well-cared-for space. One of the standout features of La Casa di Gio is its proximity to the train station. Within just a short walk, I found myself conveniently connected to the breathtaking attractions of the Cinque Terre. This allowed me to explore the colorful villages and scenic coastal trails at my own pace, without worrying about lengthy commutes or transportation logistics. In addition to its prime location, La Casa di Gio also offered a range of amenities that made my stay even more enjoyable. The comfortable and thoughtfully furnished rooms provided a peaceful retreat, while the fully equipped kitchenette allowed me to prepare my own meals and savor the flavors of the region. The complimentary Wi-Fi and friendly staff were also noteworthy aspects that added to the overall positive experience. • Laura (10/5): Lovely apartments in a great location - We were sad to leave! - All three apartments shared a hallway, so we were able to open the doors and treat them as one large apartment with one main door. The apartments were wonderfully decorated - modern furnishings and bathrooms, clean, comfortable, and spacious bedrooms - with areas of exposed stone and wood-beamed ceilings to bring a touch of old world charm. It was just as pictured. Giordano and his housekeeper were very prompt and helpful in attending to any small questions/problems that we had. The air-conditioning in the heat of early Summer was amazing! We loved everything, but those who are very sensitive to street noise might want to request one of the apartments that doesn’t face the street. It’s very convenient to be on the main pedestrian path, but lively folks outside at the restaurants can be loud, especially on late weekend nights. It didn’t bother us, but something to keep in mind if ambient noise keeps you from sleeping. The convenience was worth it to us and we enjoyed the liveliness of the area.

I could tell that the owner is detailed-oriented and service-oriented to ensure his guest has the best experience in the apartment. I wished I stayed here for a longer time. His place is also tastefully decorated and designed with style. There isn't a bit that I don't like about the apartment. :) Owner is super friendly too and even offered to carry our luggages up since the lift does not stop at the level.

A lot of places to enjoy nearby, bars, restaurants and a nicer city than I expected. Really close (5 minutes of walk) to the train station for the visits to Cinque Terre. There was also the possibility of parking reservation (important for me) .

We had some difficulties as the keys weren't in the safe when we had arrived but this was solved quickly and with a lot of effort of the host.

• Susan (9/5): Incredible place in La Spezia - The location was great, right in the centrum and there were a lot of restaurants and a few markets around it, being able to eat or buy something to eat in the apartment. The apartment was really cute and the comfortable for 4 adults. Giordano was nice, very helpful and does not take too long to answer you. The only issue was the door handle which was broken and it was a little bit difficult to open the door at the first time.

• Luc (10/5): Excellent value for the money we paid, certainly a property worth serious consideration in La Spezia - First, my wife and I were just on a month-long trip to Switzerland and Italy, and La Casa di Gio was one of the better properties where we stayed during our trip. Thanks Giordano! The property is located less than a 10 minutes' walk almost in a straight line from the train station in La Spezia. This was key to us since we intended to travel by train to the 5 villages in Cinque Terre during our 3 days stay in La Spezia. The property is also located on a main artery in La Spezia with bar, restaurants and shopping of all sorts close by. Our room was impeccably clean, cute and cozy, yet with ample space for a couple and all necessary equipment readily available. Communication with our host Giordano was efficient throughout our stay. I am pushing it to find something to say here, but some instructions on how to use the washing machine would have been useful, albeit I am sure that communication with Giordano and his staff would have solved this situation if we really needed to.

The location is great in that it's in the centre of everything - lots of restaurants and bars right outside the front door, close to the station and port. Bedrooms are a good size and have aircon. The central location means the apartment is very noisy - bin lorry going past every morning plus lots of people outside at all times. Don't stay here if you are looking for a relaxing peaceful location. There was no working safe for valuables. The bathroom had no windows and the extractor fan didn't work. Wifi is very weak. You need to be in the lounge room if you want to access it. It's not available in the bedroom.
