- Nicholas (10/5): - The owner, Liz, greeted us warmly and showed us to a lovely room with ensuite. The facilities included everything we needed for a comfortable overnight stay. We slept very well. Liz also recommended eating places in walking distance and it was lovely walking along the shores of the Loch to dinner and back.

- Lane (8/5): - A great little place with a wonderful view! The family room was a little tight for our family of 4 with 2 teenagers and the bathroom even tighter but very clean, quiet and cozy!
- Allison (10/5): Review by - Excellent service welcoming and unintrusive stay. Highly recommended
- SAURABH A (10/5): Alltonside guest house, would recommend - Great lakeside bed, decent size room with 2 beds, 1 double and 1 single. Very clean and nice arrangement. The check in was pleasent and we were welcomed by the host.
- David (10/5): Fantastic stay, highly recommended!! - Had a fantastic stay, the hosts were friendly and very helpful, the guest room was clean and cosy, fantastic location, highly recommended!!
- Amy (10/5): Hidden Gem! - Alton side guest house was everything we could have asked for. It was clean, tidy and functional and well worth the money. The views were spectacular and the guest house was a short walk away from local amenities. Would definitely recommend!
- jennifer (6/5): - The walls are really thin and could hear everything. Woken up at 5.30am by gusts shouting which the hotel can’t be blamed for. No breakfast facility
- Amr (10/5): Fort William Overnight stay - Brilliant location & view from the front of the property.
The town centre is only 5 minutes away by car. Friendly Host and very clean and homely property.
Excellent all around, the wife loved it so did I.
Highly recommended
- Roger (10/5): - Nice very clean rooms.
Its a shame there is no breskfast.
- Robin (6/5): - Small room but clean, we were unhappy with no public space to sit and breakfast was instant coffee and instant oatmeal left in our room, period. We know it’s covid but this was pretty unacceptable, we should have gotten a discount because of it
- Thomas (6/5): Close but no cigar - Pleasant surroundings, very clean and well organised. Only issue was porridge pots for breakfast and cold shower. Sadly soured a nice visit.
- Emma (10/5): - The nicest accommodation we had stayed in during our 2 weeks in Scotland! So lovely and homely and host available at all times! Close to Ben Nevis, 10 minute drive.
- Bernadette (10/5): Fort William Alltonside Guest House - Host was extremely helpful, lovely property, will stay again
- john (8/5): Nice guest house in fort William - Nice accommodation and host was very friendly. Bed was a little creaky but OK for a night. We got a breakfast bag which was nice. Quiet room.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Liz was very friendly and accommodating. The room was clean.
- Jesús (6/5): 'Fableech' stay - The host was very caring, love the whiskey shots to get warm prior to your day out. Bes was uncomfortable, super soft and I guess, due to the pandemic they are taking extra care for the cleanliness. Might be the reason for the 'bleech odour" all around the room. A bit less might be better.
View is amazing, well the one from the parking.
- Valentina (8/5): - Nice location overlooking the lake. The manager left a card for our arrival with all the explanation and telephone number for any help. Because of Covid19, the breakfast was left outside our door in a box, but she was available to prepare a hot latte or cappuccino on request. Everything was clean and I would go there again.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Clean room with good attention to COVID-19 measures. The guest house is about 20 minutes’ walk into Fort William. The dining room cannot currently be used and the breakfast bag replacement was not very inspiring. The wee dram night cap was a nice touch.
- Andrea (10/5): - Brilliant little B&B facing the Loch on the road leading into Fort William (3 miles away). Room was cosy and warm with tea and coffee making facilities. Good shower and comfy beds. Due to Covid 19 social distancing our breakfast was left in a bag outside our door with breakfast goodies in. Overall a great place. Would stay again.
- Robert (8/5): Nice base for exploring the area. - This B&B is conveniently located just on the outskirts of Fort William, right on the shore. The room wasn't overly spacious but we didn't spend much time in it so wasn't an issue. Due to the virus, we didn't get to try the breakfast but this was perfectly understandable for the logistics required for the property. A breakfast bag was provided instead. The free local whisky on arrival was a nice touch and the owner was very friendly.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - We were given a very friendly welcome and the beds were really cosy and comfortable. There was lots of choice at the buffet breakfast.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - room had a great view, traffic could be busy at times
