• Liesa (10/5): This is a family run, beautiful place with a great vibe! - We were greeted with a welcome drink and aperitivo snacks and such helpful friendly staff. Great location and the breakfast was outstanding!!! They even got up early because of our flight time to home bake a full breakfast for us before we left and sent us on our way with goodies! I love this place and have stayed here a few times! Can be just a little noisy because you’re right in the center, but the location is so great it’s hard to beat! And it’s so fun sitting in the piazza at the bar people watching :)

Fenêtre qui ne ferme pas . Réfrigérateur enfin ouvert 12h après avoir signalé la porte verrouillée .

• bert (5/5): - Tolle Lage. Nettes Personal. Wegen der zentralen Lage keine Zufahrt zum Hotel. Parkgarage etwas entfernt, daher etwas umständlich mit Gepäck. Frühstück eher mickrig, nur im Freiern möglich (bei Schlechtwetter ein Problem). Zimmer extrem klein, keine Ablagemöglichkeiten für Gepäck, etc. Weder Tisch noch Sessel vorhanden. Keine Räume wie Lobby, etc. vorhanden.

• Anna (10/5): Perfect! - Central location, easy to explore the town and sites. Our room had everything you could need, we slept well. The roof terrace is a welcome escape from the busy streets below. The real star of the show are the staff - they were all lovely and we felt so welcomed and well looked after. Can’t recommend Sei Stelle Mama enough!

La plaza principal en la que está ubicado, es muy ruidosa, primero las campanas de iglesia, luego el ruido del bar, más las mesas y gente y al amanecer los recolectores de basura ( vidrio) y motocicletas. No pude dormir en toda la noche.

The rooms are small but perfectly clean, with everything you need. It’s local and family owned, the staff and owner are amazing. It’s not a hotel, more of a B&B which makes it special. • Sharon (2/5): Would not recommend - The regular double room we booked was so small we had no choice but to upgrade at an exorbitant price. The regular room might work for those staying a couple of days but not a week. No room for luggage as the bed took up the entire room.

Would really recommend as a place to stay- the room, food and hosts were amazing. The toilet was not blacked out- you could see in from the bedroom.

Parking offered was so difficult that we wound y even try to take care out during stay and took difft transportation

Right in the centre of the town and in a main piazza from which we easily walked to see the sites. Breakfast was lovely as was the owner. Signora Antonia went out of her way to make us feel welcome. She was very helpful is making restaurant and outing recommendations. She was very accommodating and ensured our every need was met. Signora Antonia truly has hospitality in her bones. The breakfast is incredible and picked daily from the farm. Already looking forward to our return visit. The location is superb didn't need the car while we were there at all. Nothing!

Room was very clean, quiet – even tho it overlooked a passageway, and even somewhat comfortable for is small size. The staff were helpful, cherry, courteous and willing to address almost any question or need. If breakfast is important, it is very good; served leisurely at their tables in the Piazza We hope you connect with the owner, Antonia, as we did; a delightful cherry person focused to make your stay memorable.

The location is unbeatable, right in the centre of Polignano a Mare, just steps away from the restaurants and coastal views. • davejcroft (10/5): Lovely bar. - This is an excellent bar in a great location in the centre of polignano . Also found if serves Sarti spritz , as this was hard to find on our holiday this time . Would highly recommend having drinks here and watching the world go by. Also went back and bought a special Sarti glass
• GENERAL_MANAGER_DB (2/5): Beware of excessive noise especially on week ends ! - We had unfortunately a terrible stay at this accommadation. The accommadtion site does not tell you they also run a bar/restuarant until 0300 at night. We were to stay 2 nights but after the first night we tried to get our money back for the second night which they refused. The noise level was unbelieveable until 0300 then we had to listened to everyone saying their goodbyes reverberating around the square.Then the garbage people turned up to clean the square @ 0600 !!! As per their policy and conditions I quote -" In any time of the day and night, every guest should respect the quietness. " Interesting?? So it gave us an impression that we would be able to sleep at night. Also, their photos on their site does not display the cafe/bar/restaurant on the ground floor. We went down around 12 midnight to complain and advsed we would be checking out and not staying for our 2nd night.They were not interested and said it is a Italian tradion to party. My daughters deluxe room was as displayed on their web site however, our room was a design room which there are no photos of it on their site- that I suspect is because you had to stand on the bed to hang any clothes and I did not have room for a hand luggage bag.
• Christina (10/5): Can't wait to go back!!! - We absolutely loved our stay at Sei Stelle Mama!! The location is a dream and the staff are so so lovely!! They greeted us with smiles and drinks while we waited to check in. The room was clean and functional and had the cutest balcony. Breakfast was amazing and just cant say enough good things about this hotel. The hotel is located in the Piazza with amazing restaurants and the most beautiful church. We also got to witness two weddings and the celebrations by the people was so fun and exciting.
• Lisa (5/5): Passable - overpriced for what it was. rooms are tiny but clean. breakfast was nothing special. no sound proofing on the windows and the hotel is in the center of town with a bar underneath. we were woken up every hour with music, noise, church bells, fireworks etc. if you're traveling peak season and want sleep - this isn't your place! the staff was accommodating and let us rebook to their Monopoli hotel, which was much nicer, quieter, and a way more pleasant experience.

Maria was so nice and always went out of the way for us. Such a great place to stay! Also, the waitresses downstairs were also fantastic. They have an elevator to take you to the upper floors, provide breakfast, and the bed was comfortable. Thank you so much to all the staff for an amazing stay! Especially Maria and Ilenia!

• 327tatec (10/5): Bellisimo - From the moment we arrived on Saturday and us checking out today our stay was perfect due to Analisa looking after us through out our stay from checkin in on us if we needed anything or even booking us in a restaurant. Her hospitality made us feel very welcomed, we used there 25 euro a day parking and this was good value and car was in also safe space In a garage not to a long walk between the hotel and the garage and again we was assisted by Analissa. Breakfast was good with a different selection we could choose from and there was something on the menu for both of us. Our room was nice and we were upgraded to a room overlooking the piazza which was a nice touch and much appreciated. Thank you for a good stay in the heart of polignano a mare.

• LucyOSF (4/5): Just ok...not the best - I give this hotel a 2 star review because 1) the staff was friendly, helpful and the owner was very sweet. 2) Also, the location of the hotel is right in the center of everything and that part was great. However, the rest gets a 1-star review. I booked a standard room with a queen size bed. The room was very small, with very little space to move around. The bathroom was the worse part, it was right next to the bed and had no privacy because the wall is basically glass...see-through glass by the small shower, partially tainted glass by the toilet. Thankfully, the sliding door (without lock) to go in was made out of wood. The breakfast was acceptable, but certainly nothing special at all.

• Annie (3/5): Not good value for what we paid. - Close to everything Bathroom was decent Staff were pleasant Room was incredibly small…our suitcases barely fit and we had to jump over from the bed to get around them. On our first night there was no hot water so we were not able to shower.

• Elizabeth (10/5): - We booked this hotel very last minute, and we really lucked out with how special it is! A family owned operation with an architecturally interesting building, in the ideal location. The owners and the staff were so genuine and helpful in every way. The breakfast was plentiful, and other meals for purchase were also great. They helped us with a day trip to Monopoli to the beaches, and gave great dining recommendations. We will miss this special hotel and hope to visit again soon!

The property owner was so lovely & accommodating, especially as I was a solo female traveler, she made me feel so welcome & safe. • Jerry (10/5): - As soon as we booked the property, the owner and staff reached out to us to see if we needed anything or if we would like to arrange a pickup at Bari airport. Our flight was delayed by 2 hours which made a late arrival. The owner managed the van to pick us up and the driver held up a sign when we exited baggage claim. The driver helped us with our luggage. We had a significant amount of luggage traveling for 3 weeks working and vacationing so the owner offered us a larger room at check in for a reasonable price. The entire staff supported us and the coffee and breakfast were excellent. The room was very clean and comfortable. We recommend this property if you are coming to visit the town of Puglia Del Mar!
• Catherine (6/5): - The property, although clean and modern was incredibly noisy. The music in the rooftop bar continued until 2am each morning and the local glass collection service started from 7am. It was difficult to get to sleep and stay asleep because of the lack of soundproofing.
• Jackie (7/5): great location if you like to be in the center of the action. Rooms were tight. STAFF was superb! - The owner Mama Stelle and her staff were attentive, friendly, accommodating and kind. I was a bit taken aback by the size of the rooms for the amount of money we paid. I couldn't even move around my room. Two larger rooms were available however, the rate was certainly not worth it. When asked if there was flexibility in the rate, the response was no. Interestingly, the rooms were left vacant during our stay. The owner was gracious in giving us a buy 2 massages get one free. The massages were just ok. Lovely masseuse but just ok. The size of rooms and bathrooms. Awkward layout for the design room.

• Andrew (9/5): Great central location - If you want to stay in a central location in this beautiful town then I would highly recommend Sei Stelle Mama. We had a car and staff assisted us with nearby car parking (at an extra cost.) Breakfast daily in the courtyard was a great way to start the day and watch the town come to life. You are definitely in amongst the hustle and bustle here which we loved. Staff were great. One of the main reasons we booked the hotel was because of the pictures of the rooftop terrace but unfortunately this was out of action. The room was very small but modern and nicely furnished. The shower/bathroom, is divided by a glass screen that is practically next to the bed so it is aimed for couples or travellers who know each other well!!

• Craig (9/5): The best place to stay in Polignano a Mare, great location, great room, amazing people. - Sei Stella Mama was a great experience. The room was first class with a balcony overlooking the main town square, the amenities were great, the breakfast superb. And more than anything the staff were so helpful, so kind and so accommodating. This is the only place to stay in Polignano a Mare, cannot recommend highly enough Nothing, everything was great!

• Marianne (6/5): Beautiful town, stay away from the main square. - Nice room and some of the staff made a really great effort to enhance our stay Arrival process with car was a mess. Supposed to be met at a nearby carpark but the staff member didn’t turn up in time and we were driving around in heavy traffic with nowhere to stop. Very stressful. Then when we did make it to the hotel they were wanting us to order tomorrow’s breakfast on the spot. All we wanted to do was get to our room after a long drive. The hotel is really noisy. On the main square over bars and beside the church bells. Garbage trucks early in the morning. Location is certainly central, can’t deny that. I wouldn’t recommend it to friends. Sorry

• Karen (9/5): We had the most lovely stay in this charming hotel - This is a delightful hotel, stylish and comfortable with staff going out of their way to look after you. Highly recommend the masseuse too, we each had an excellent massage. Although the bedroom was very stylish it was small and not very cleverly designed. The cupboard for clothing is too high to realistically use. However we moved things around a bit so I wouldn't let that put you off!
• V1581SOgeoffr (2/5): Avoid if you want a nice coffee (or cake) - This review is of the terrace bar in the square. We did not stay at the hotel. We stayed in Bari and took a sight seeeing day trip. My wife and I arrived late morning and thought we'd grab a seat for a couple of coffees and a 'traditional cake' to start the visit off. No agenda, no timeframes, nice and relaxed. Wish we hadn't bothered, terrible service topped off with bad attitudes all round, from a waitress to whoever the senior person (lady) was behind the counter. This was on Wednesday 8th May 24 It was a simple request that turned a would be pleasant coffee stop into a wind up. We sat at an available table and waited to be served. We checked the menu and noted the cover charge that was said to be for waitress service and 'snacks' at 2.50 euro. No worries. Once the young waitress finished having her photo shoot for TikTok from a colleague as we watched on, she took the time out of her busy schedule to transit the gap from her perch at door to our table on the square. We ordered a cappuccino, an espresso and a 'traditional cake.' The skill of communicating with us without once looking up from her tablet from the point of departing from the door to returning to it was awe inspiring. The coffees arrived within about 10 minutes, but no cake with them. But as they were deposited on the table without a word and midway through what is best described as a rapid spin and body swerve back in the general direction of the counter, led us to presume that she was heading back for our 'traditional cake.' She didn't return. OK. Perhaps she'd forgotten we'd ordered cake? Espresso was getting cold, so down the hatch. The cappuccino was also now getting cold and was being sipped with those tiny tiny sips that my wife employed in an effort to try to eek out the coffee for as long as she might, in anticipation of the arrival of some lovely traditional cake and aiming to retain something to wash it down with. The coffees were long gone after 15 minutes and the thought was that she'd definitely forgotten. No worries. Such is life. Think of the damage to the wasteline that had been narrowly avoided :D It was time to move on, so I toddled off to the till at the counter and was presented with a bill including 9 euros for the cake. I politely pointed out that the much anticipated delicacy was sadly never delivered, that we had consoled each other over our joint disappointment, that we would try to get over it and that it should be removed from the bill. From the freakish scowls that met my request, I thought 'Ey up! Something's amiss!" And so repeated that we had never received any cake. There were puzzled glances between the members of the mob. Then I was told... "it's coming!" And a cake was plonked on the counter. I explained that (1) the waitress said nothing when she brought the coffees over to let us know the cake was following (if it ever was) and (2) it was no good delivering cake 20 minutes after we'd had our coffee. Judging by the complete lack of comprehension of this standpoint, I could have been talking in Swahili. The snarls had me a little worried, but I swallowed and stood strong... I said, "If the cake was coming, why not say something to let us know when you served the coffees? Better still, why not wait with the coffees until the cake was ready?" And I told them that we didn't want the cake any longer. It looked lovely too :( The game of ping pong that ensued was settled after I said "no thank you" to nobody that was particularly listening to me for the 6th time, while they growled and tutted to their heart's content. The waitress at this point decided to flounce off. But did so in her own Tiktok inimitable style with a flick of hair and 1 more selfie. The lady that you could loosely call a supervisor kept ringing though different invoices and presented one with a forceful slap to the counter, like a bartender in a spaghetti western serving 'a whhiska.' By this point, I'd had enough and was only wanting an exit, a lie down and for the building angry feeling to subside and to resume my holiday. So I paid. I'd paid 11.50 euro for a cappuccino the size of an espresso and an espresso the size of a ...... ??? (That's how we like them in Italy). I didn't actually realise until walking away, with one eye over my should looking for the dinner knife flying though the air, that the bill was 11.50. 2.50 for the espresso....cool 4.00 for cappuccino.....cool And 5.00 (2 x 2.50) for the waitress SERVICE and SNACKS.... not cool! Each!! For something that was *crap* and something else we not even given. Snacks that we also never received, but did look nice on those tables fortunate to have them plonked on them. Anyway, we moved on, thinking.... I must make sure I leave a balanced review somewhere. If you see a waitress, while you look for a table, standing in the doorway, having her photos taken and with a very glazed expression on her face, or a lady at the counter chewing baccie that looks like she might outdraw Clint Eastwood in his blanket... keeping walking. There's load of other cafes to choose from :) Xx
