Die Unterkunft ist sehr sauber und ordentlich, sodass man sich rundum wohlfühlt. Ich hatte hier mein eigenes kleines Wellness-Paradies und komme definitiv gerne wieder. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Ein rundum empfehlenswertes Apartment ist der „Hochthron“ als eine Wohlfühloase besonderer Art! Ein Badewannentraum im Wohnzimmer mit Multimedia vom Feinsten war eine neue Erfahrung, die uns viel Spaß gemacht hat. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

- AudreyT (9/5): Prima verblijf. - De locatie, het zwembad. Relatief grote badkamer. Beschikbaarheid van een sauna. Wakker worden van sigarettenrook, ipv de frisse berglucht. Omdat het zo warm was hadden we de ramen open staan. Helaas werd er ergens beneden ons gerookt in de vroege uren. Kleine tegenvaller was dat het 2e tweepersoonsbed een slaapbank betrof in de woonkamer, welke relatief zacht was.

Die Besitzer haben stets ein Lächeln auf den Lippen und sorgen für jeglichen Komfort! Alles ist super sauber! Wir können das "Alpenglühn " wirklich wärmstens weiterempfehlen!🥰 Das Einzige, was man vielleicht "bemägeln" könnte, ist die Nähe zur Berchtesgadener Ache, die schon recht laut ist. Bei geschlossenem Fenster hört man aber so gut wie gar nichts.😎

The amenities were amazing - the hot tub and pool were such a bonus. Our host, was the sweetest and kindest host we’ve ever had. When we left, my little boy said he missed her already. The apartment was as cozy as if it were our own. I can’t say a single negative thing about our stay. Book it! Not a thing.

- Pdrjmg (8/5): Good enough property, I expected a bit more for the price though - The size of the apartment, the pool, the jacuzzi The bedroom was not dark enough imo, luckily I had a mask but otherwise it would have been a bit uncomfortable. They said the jacuzzi was 38 degrees Celsius but it didn't feel like it. Also a lot of material was missing in the kitchen (more small spoons, knives, etc.)

- V.s. (10/5): Great views and attentive host - We stayed at a top floor "cave" apartment for a night and had a very comfortable short stay. The location was close to the lake, the property had parking and amazing views. We had an authentic German roast dinner in the garden of the hotel, hosted by the owner himself. We had a great night and tasted some of home made beverages. Our stop in Konigssee was short, but Peter really made us feel welcome. It was a pleasure!

The cleaning was substandard. a lot of weeds on the balcony which they had not removed. spider webs on the balcony and in the apartment. That there was no air conditioning. Shower door squeaks very loudly. Laundry facilities would be nice. We paid to have our laundry done, which was very expensive, and a white shirt came back stained blue from being washed with dark blue jeans. Wish the hot tub would have been on!

- Celestial (10/5): Resort home in Berchtesgaden - This place is equipped to be a resort home, next to the river. The sauna and outdoor jacuzzi can be booked privately, and a pool operates during warmer seasons. Watzmann mountain, one of the highest peaks in the Bavarian alps, was the view from the apartment. We even had a Christmas tree with lights, and a fabulous modern kitchen. Peter Juhre the owner picked us up from the main train station at Berchtesgaden (just 5-8 minutes by car). We took the bus from the bus stop across the river to Salzburg centre in just 40 minutes. Berchtesgaden Old Town with Christmas market, a boat cruise at Konigsee and walk around/meals overlooking Hintersee and Konigsee are must-do's in winter. Peter and staff took great care of us throughout the stay, checking how we were settling in. Splendid location for an apartment. Thank you Peter and team! NA

After picking up my GF late from the train, we were greeted by the owner and asked if we wanted dinner the following evening. No cancellation fee was disclosed nor did we agree to one. After losing track of time the next day, we decided to go out for dinner instead. A call to Peter was not answered or returned. SO we found our own way. Upon return, we were told the bill needed to be settled right then. We were told check out is 10am and there would be no exceptions. We were given extra fees of 12$E each and told that we had "wasted food," along with burdening the staff to knock on our door 3 times. It was very rude and we left first thing, never receiving a new light bulb Peter said he would change or soap in the shower. We will not return
- fvc (10/5): - What an excellent stay this was! Exceptional. I would do it again, and recommend it to friends. It's a small property, essentially a converted farmhouse in a small village 5 minute drive outside of Berchtsgaden town. The modern & attractive apartment was spacious and had a functional kitchen, which we needed to care for our small child. The warm & personal service from the proprietor, his excellent chef and attentive staff made this an exceptional experience. Lovely meals by the pool, food & drink not typically made available to tourists; the custom-arranged and super hike in the Alps led by the proprietor; a much-needed glass of schnapps hand-delivered at the end of the day, when I had only mentioned the desire to another guest, made this a lovely and restorative visit.
- Anika (10/5): Beautiful, private, pricey - Really beautiful rooms and property. Great jacuzzi, pool, and spa area. We had a wonderful and restful stay. Like other reviewers have stated however, the owners will try to push a lot of dinners, breakfasts, tours, reservations, etc. on you, and you will definitely be paying more than you think for it. They never tried to trick us or anything, they were just a little pushy. Just be straightforward and if you’re traveling on a budget, do meals and tours on your own. Overall, our stay was lovely!
