• Rossana (8/5): Rilassante… sentirsi a casa! - Il Riccio è il soggiorno ideale per chi, come noi, desidera rilassarsi e perdersi in orizzonti pittoreschi. Stefania è davvero un’host eccezionale: dolce e disponibile ti fa sentire a casa, così come tutto il resto dello staff. Struttura consigliata!

La ragazza che ci ha accolto è stata estremamente preparata: ci ha raccontato la storia della struttura e ci ha fornito ottimi suggerimenti su cosa fare e vedere. Il cibo del ristorante, così come la colazione del mattino, è stato superlativo, e le camere raccontano davvero la storia del luogo, con un’atmosfera autentica e curata. Ci tornerò sicuramente.

• Mariëlle (9/5): - Prima en ruime kamer. Mooie locatie vlak bij het meer. Gastvrij ontvangen en behulpzame gastheer. Informatie gekregen en een restaurant voor ons geboekt. Ontbijt prima, wel met tiramisu en zoetigheden. Mooie ruime tuin met dieren en uitzicht op omgeving. Eigen restaurant was dicht.

Nel pieno della natura e con una panchina gigante instagrammabile. A pochi minuti dai Laghi di Monticchio La camera singola ha la doccia un po' piccola per persone di grande stazza.
• Graniti (8/5): Bellissimo....peccato per - Posto bellissimo e rilassante struttura super pulita ed efficiente peccato che ci sia capitata una stanza davvero piccola con un bagno altrettanto piccolo, a differenza della stanza tripla che è toccata ai miei figli, molto più spaziosa luminosa e con un bagno molto più comodo La stanza veramente troppo piccola con finestre piccole
• Liliana (9/5): Tra arte e campagna - Un agriturismo con uno stile bellissimo. Un incrocio tra natura, arte e i profumi e i colori della campagna. Bellissimo l'arredo, camere pulite, ottimo il ristorante consigliato, abbiamo mangiato benissimo. Tutto di qualità!
• Jorge (8/5): Loving - The location was in a very isolated but incredible area of Monticchio, the place had the cutest 5 dogs which made it feel like home. The staff was incredible, she was sweet, clear and very concerned for everything to workout for us as we expected. That we could´nt stay longer.

• Rita (10/5): I would highly recommend this quiet countryside retreat. - We loved this place. It was quiet, off the beaten path and had all that we needed. Italy is becoming so crowded it is so nice to come to a place that can be used as a base to see Matera for example, and find your home base in a picturesque environment. The restaurant serves incredible meals. There is a lot to do around there as well. There is a castle to visit and hike to find waterfalls. This place is a gem.

• Danny (9/5): Peace and quiet in rural Italy. - This agriturismo is great to experience rural Italy. We enjoyed walking and relaxing. The owner is so helpful and friendly and made us feel welcome. The food is delicious and the area is quiet and peaceful.

• Krisztina (9/5): Beautiful location, small room - The animals were very cute, beautiful location. Good breakfast options, also catered for the gluten free guests. Small rooms, small shower and most of the staff we met did not speak english. Everyone was very nice and those who did speak english were exceptionally helpful and friendly.

The rooms are very comfy and the view is outstanding. the place is extremely clean. The food is simply perfect, and they have GF options which is not easy to find everywhere. • Samuele (10/5): Wish I could have stayed more! - Omg just stop your research and book this place ASAP. The location is a-m-a-z-i-n-g and the host/staff + restaurant are exquisite. Full stop. Ok, you are still reading... So, food-wise: we ate there basically all the time, although it was not our plan, but it was sooo gooood that honestly, it was pointless to go somewhere else. The food is super fresh, literally from the surrounding of the B&B. Breakfast is prepared directly at YOUR table, not some cheap buffet! Keep in mind that the restaurant is so requested that it is better to warn the staff that you wish to eat lunch/dinner. Nonetheless, we didn't have to raise any noise complaints, and our room was directly on top of the restaurant. Room-wise: it is lovely, vintage-retro style with great photos of the B&B in the former times (I guess 1950-70). New AC, silent and clean. The bathroom was nice and well equipped, plus good water pressure. Outside of the B&B you are immersed in nature, there are numerous farm animals (emus, donkeys, turkeys, doggos, cattos, chickens, ducks and roosters), but no unpleasant smells or noises. Parking space is available behind the B&B; although is spacious, keep in mind that it gets packed during lunch/dinner. If you are still reading and you are not booking this place, I'm so sorry for you ;P
