• Dafni (10/5): Perfect - First of all the view out of the rooms is amazing. The outdoors area by the pool is a big bonus and they also have a bar that operates during the day from which you can order coffee drinks and some food. Perfect if you want to spend a day on the pool instead at the beach. The room was perfect in size and equipped with everything needed. The host Alexandros and his family were really nice and so was all the stuff working at the bar. We were also given some recommendations and everything was spot on. The location is perfect as it’s not too far from be main town but also a good distance from must see villages. I would highly recommend this place and would probably revisit if I went back to the island.

Le personnel est très professionnel, les chambres confortables et une très belle vue sur la mer. Le petit déjeuner était aussi très bon avec des produits de qualité. Bien placé pour admirer le coucher de soleil. 800 m de descente d’une très petite route pour y accéder. Juste 2 places de parking au même niveau que les hébergements situés en Rez de chaussée. C’est premier arrivé premier servi. Sinon le parking est au niveau supérieur avec un escalier à descendre. Mieux vaut le savoir si vous êtes handicapé.

I am gluten intolerant and my girlfriend is vegan, so we have to be careful what we eat. unfortunately the menu at the bar was very limited, particularly in the evening which mean that we had to go out every night for a meal.

The direct road towards the location is quite steep and bumpy. There is a longer, more even road going through the village of Agios Romanos. But that was the only thing we could think of.

• Claus (8/5): A very nice property with gorgeous view but a bit distant from everything - I very much like the property, clean, enough space, well equipped and the view from the terrasse was just gorgeous, facinf west and having the sun set over the sea just in front of us. The location was rather difficult to reach very steep road to get there and nothing in walking distance, no restaurant, beach or super market. We had to drive always for daily stuff.

The view, facing the Aegean Sea and nearby islands, is simply stunning. Scooter or car is mandatory to reach the apartment and explore the island. The pool and the solarium/terrace are the best place to chill and watch the sunset. Alex is a great host, we followed his tips, especially regarding the choice of restaurants and tavernas. Great food everywhere! We definitely come back and recommend our friends to spend their stay in Tinos at Avissalou Apartments! Nothing.

• Agnieszka (10/5): Fantastic stay in unforgettable location - We liked the secluded location of the property, sense of luxury, the silence and beautiful sunsets. The apartment was very comfortable, spacious, clean, with well equipped kitchen and few small welcome gifts waiting for us. We were welcome with joy even if we arrived before the normal check-in time. We received the explanation about the property and the island including a very helpful map. The communication with Alex via WhatsApp before the arrival and during the stay was perfect. Coming back to the property after the intensive sightseeing was always a great pleasure as we could enjoy last refreshment of the day in the swimming pool, had a drink from the bar and the glimpse at sun going down. The property vibe was serene and our apartment had everything we needed. While it was just two of us, there were place settings and glassware for 4, including cooking utensils, bottle/wine opener, coffeemaker and electric tea kettle. I would suggest to bring extra travel-size shampoo and conditioner. After a rain storm, the outside AC unit shorted out and we did not have electricity. Alex went over and beyond to get the issue corrected quickly. 👍 The road to the property was a bit scary - steep, narrow and winding. After the first time, we became confident that we could do it and it wasn’t a big issue. If we had a 4WD Jeep, it wouldn’t have been a problem at all, but our little Fiat Panda rental car made us unsure at first.

• Tadej (10/5): Exceptional - Loved the shared pool and pool bar, the location was great(loved looking at the sunset). The closest beach was a 10 min walk, but we mostly explored the island with a car. Staff was friendly and helped with any questions that we had and also gave us some good suggestions on where to go. Having a washing machine was also handy since we stayed for longer.

Because we had the pool we did not need to go to the beach. Very poor roads leading to Avissalou Apartments. Car absolutely essential. Agios Romanos resort one mile away & very disappointing. One not so good taverna, no shop and access road hilly, rocky in places and very winding.

Alex and his team were super friendly and we were greeted with some delicious local goodies in our apartment upon arrival. Also, there is a quiet, beautiful beach in walking distance which is shielded very well from the strong winds and has a cute little taverna. We went there almost every day. Loved our stay at Avissalou! Thank you Alex & team! As many others mentioned: The way to to Avissalou is steep, bumpy and a bit scary on the first go. Got used to it though and then it’s fine. Alternatively, there’s another road up which is a bit longer but much more easy to drive.

The drive to the acc - Spotlessly clean, very well equipped studio apartment (Filyra). Excellent shower and very comfortable bed. We had 5 night stay and bed linen/towels changed on 3rd day. We took a wrong turning to property, a very narrow, steep, windy road which was very scary. Bar wasn’t open as it was October.

As mentioned on many reviews the road down to the apartments is challenging ina car(steep and bumpy). Youget used to it eventually.
