• Caolan (8/5): Host (Pietro) was absolutely fantastic and would probably be the only reason I would return. - Pietro (the owner) was absolutely fantastic and the facilities within the room were absolutely perfect. Location very handy being beside the train station and 20 mins from town. The floors unfortunately were quite creaky making movement quite loud and the lock on the room I was staying in was broken.

• Louisa (9/5): Posto fantastico! - L’accoglienza e la disponibilità degli ospiti erano eccezionali! La camera era spaziosa, pulita e c’era tutto che ci voleva. La struttura è molto vicino alla stazione e alle fermate dell’autobus quindi è facile muoversi. Le finestre sono ben insonorizzate, si sente solo leggermente la strada fuori. Una persiana era rotta quindi non si poteva abbuiare la camera completamente - per noi non era un problema, c’era anche una tenda.

• Yanina (10/5): - Perfekte Lage in der Nähe des Bahnhofs, das Zentrum kann man auch gut zu Fuß erreichen. Das Zimmer war liebevoll eingerichtet und das Frühstück war perfekt, es gab außer süßen Sachen auch Wurst, Eier, Käse. Die Gastgeber sind sehr nett und kümmern sich um ihre Gäste. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, vielen Dank! Die Matratze war für mein persönliches Empfinden zu weich.

Quarto amplo, super confortável, decoração muito aconchegante, banheiro amplo, com chuveiro realmente em vez de só ducha. Privacidade e segurança, silêncio e sossego para dormir. Café da manhã excelente. Gostei de todo, nada a reclamar!

The room was spotlessly clean and comfortable and despite being on a main road we didn’t hear the noise. Breakfast was great with a lot of variety. We would definitely rebook if we were here again. • Edith (8/5): Sehr empfehlenswert! - Das Zimmer war sehr hell, geschmackvoll eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Jeden 2. Tag gab es neue Hand- und Badetücher., kleine Aufmerksamkeiten wie Kekse und Wasserflaschen. Die Minibar war gut ausgestattet. Das Frühstück bot von allem Etwas. Die Gastgeber waren ausgesprochen freundlich und in zuvorkommend. Bei geöffnetem Fenster zu schlafen war für uns, wegen dem Straßenverkehr nachts, nicht möglich.
• Roland (9/5): Sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt bei Pietro nahe dem Zentrum und Bahnhof - Gute Lage, sauberes Zimmer, Frühstück mit viel Auswahl. Gastgeber sehr nett und sehr um das Wohl der Gäste bemüht. Räder können in einem extra abgesperrten Raum untergestellt werden.
• Glauco (9/5): Vicino al centro, ottimo per esplorare la città - posizionato a 10 minuti a piedi dalla stazione, il B&B non dispone di parcheggio, ma a 150 metri ne è presente uno al costo di 0,50€/h (dalle 8.00 alle 20.00). ma nel caso si abbia voglia di camminare e non si abbiano valigie grandi, a 10 minuti a piedi (uscendo da Trieste) ci sono parcheggi gratuiti. Gli alloggi si trovano al primo piano. Le camere sono di dimensioni giuste, come il bagno (la doccia è davvero grande). Rispetto ai rumori dall'esterno sono ben isolate. La colazione a buffet presenta tantissimi prodotti (per la maggior parte salati). Ma la differenza la fanno i proprietari, estremamente gentili e disponibili ad aiutare. Lo consiglio vivamente (come l'esplorare il quartiere nel quale si trova, in quanto ricco di osterie e negozi vecchi, fuori dall'orda dei turisti) è una vecchia abitazione, con il pavimento originale in legno, che scricchiola al passaggio. Sta nell'educazione degli ospiti non correre o camminare insistentemente per il corridoio al fine di non disturbare le altre persone. Le tapparelle sono elettriche, ma nella stanza da me occupata non chiudevano completamente, quindi se si è sensibili alla luce dell'alba munirsi di maschera per gli occhi

The room was beautiful, clean and comfortable with a sense of atmosphere. The breakfast was great. Very handy for the station. Would definitely try to book again if we’re in Trieste in the future.

Camere con soffitti alti, molto ben insonorizzate per la presenza di una doppia finestra. Stanza pulita e ben attrezzata. Aria condizionata con posizionamento a deumidificatore più che sufficiente, nonostante le temperature molto alte di Agosto. Colazione molto varia ed abbondante che riesce a soddisfare anche i gusti di persone complicate come me. I proprietari sono due persone per bene, raffinate e gentili che cercano in ogni modo di venire incontro a tutte le esigenze dei turisti, senza essere invadenti. Pietro in particolare mi è stato molto utile nell'indicare a me, gran camminatore, percorsi poco noti ai turisti "mordi e fuggi". La sensazione è di essere accolti da persone che svolgono questa attività per passione e non siano accecate dalla classica necessità di guadagno. Nulla

Quando l'ho richiesta hanno detto che era disponibile ma non hanno comunicato il sovrapprezzo. Il prezzo di 10€ era adeguato però mi è dispiaciuta la mancata trasparenza. La colazione viene offerta ad orari molto molto rigidi.

Pur essendo in una via molto trafficata, la insonorizzazione ha reso il soggiorno piacevole ed assolutamente tranquillo Il parcheggio non e' vicinissimo, ma e' disponibile a pochi passi, comunque questo non dipende dalla struttura, putroppo questo e' il problema di Trieste

Not that you need it in Trieste, perfect location to transport, ferries, trains , buses, and attractions. We took the bus straight to the beach and castle. Although you can walk if you enjoy hiking and perfect for cycling. Great walk in to the main square to canalsThe rooms were traditional Italian style, spacious with touches of gold. • Sara (10/5): A hidden gem for a short and affordable stay - Very charming and welcoming couple hosted us. The breakfast was a great and familiar experience which we all really enjoyed. It is located a 15 min walk from the buzzling parts of Trieste, but I guess that’s how it can offer a reasonable prize.

Su desayuno es maravilloso para iniciar el día, nos hicieron sentir felices en esos días que estuvimos con mi esposa y mi suegra. Este lugar debe ser el mejor hotel de Trieste de seguro ! • George (9/5): Prima B&B met betrokken eigenaren op loopafstand van het centrum. - Gastvrije, attente en lieve eigenaren. De kamer was ruim met een zithoek met 2! stoelen, een koelkastje en airco. Veel keuze bij het ontbijt met ook vers fruit en tomaatjes. Het is ongeveer 15 - 20 minuten lopen naar het centrum. Het was best warm in de kamer omdat de airco s'nachts uitgaat. Het raam kan open maar er is veel verkeers lawaai.

• Elisa (10/5): I enjoyed my stay at Golden Rooms B&B - I felt comfortable and well looked after. - The hosts Pietro and Radica were friendly and helpful and made me feel very welcome. My room was spacious, comfortable and nicely appointed, and very clean. The breakfast was plentiful - a good selection of items. The B&B is located a short distance from the bus/train stations and within easy walking distance to the city centre. All was good.
