Comfortable stay in 2nd floor room, good breakfast and lovely hosts. Enjoyed falling asleep to the sound of the waves and watching the world go by.

• Madeline (9/5): A most enjoyable stay for the two nights we were there. Would definitely return. - Our seaview room was wonderful (the weather helped), plus the fact I'd booked seaview. Excellent choice for breakfast, especially the coconut and vanilla yoghurt! The room had everything we needed, including a mini fridge for my spare insulin. Even managed to get a free parking spot, so didn't need to move the car for the whole weekend. No downsides for us, could only see the stairs being a problem for those with less mobility, but that's the nature of these buildings.

Good to have a mini fridge. Very tidy and spotlessly clean. Very friendly hosts who let us leave our bags before checking in and after checking out, so we could make the most of exploring Weymouth. Delicious hot and tasty full English breakfast. No negatives.

• Les (9/5): Great place to use as a hub for Weymounth. Lovely hosts - Fabulous time in Weymouth - the bed was like a cloud, we had such a good nights sleep. Breakfast was a good standard and over all the facilities were really good. Noting this a B&B, the view was perfect. the parking for us was really good and we didnt move the car all weekend , The Hosts were very accommodating of our needs and we would recommend them, and we intend to return

The breakfast was lovely, the place clean, wonderful kingsize bedroom that overlooked the sea, which the sea was literally a stones throw (as long as you didn't hit the parked cars 😂) out of season there is parking (if you can get a space) fabulous location. Would definitely recommend. Bathroom was quite quaint but for the few days there, we managed fine, the shower isn't the best either but you make do and are quick. Would still recommend booking.

Lovely cooked breakfast daily with plenty of choice. Location was perfect for our week long stay, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lyndale.

The bed wasn't made up on our 2nd day, first time in a b&b without it being made. No problem but just unusual for me. Parking was ok for us outside b&b as it was December. Might have a problem in the summer. The bed and pillows were not very comfortable. Bed made noises every time we moved. Windows only single glazed, And lots of condensation on the windows. Shower is quite small, and hot water takes a while to get up to the top rooms. Just got to remember to wait before you get in.

Roger was extremely helpful, even giving us a map to find free parking in the area. We were also allowed to drop off our bags early on. This allowed us to enjoy the sunny day in Weymouth before checking in later on in the day, and we were also offered an early check in if we needed it. Would definitely stay here again... Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

Parking was tight but not a problem. It was fantastic to be able to look out over the sea while we ate breakfast. The room was well decorated and had everything we needed. The bathroom was a little on the small side and due to the room being on an upper floor it took a long time for the water to heat up, but that was explained to us at check in.

I couldn't find any free parking nearby but managed to find a car park for only £6.50 for 24 hours. Fantastic location. We visited Durdle Door which was only a 26 min drive away and well worth the trip, just a shame about the greedy parking prices there, £12.50 for 4 hours.

Our standard double room was quite small - and bathroom was very small. Shower was not very powerful. This was all fine for us for one night - and it was such a delight to step out the door straight onto the beach.

• Carol (9/5): Very comfortable - Lyndale Guest House is in the quieter part of Weymouth but still just a short walk along the beach to the centre. Our room had everything we needed including tea and coffee facilities and a small fridge. The view is stunning a stones throw overlooking the sea and all you hear are the waves - perfect. Breakfast was plenty of choice and you choose exactly what you want the day before also beautifully presented. We will stay again. The bath towels were quite small and not very soft also not much room in the bathroom to put anything and the shelf there inclined so couldn’t be used. But minor issues and wouldn’t put us off
