The bathrooms were clean and so were the rooms and I loved the layout of each dorm and them having their own balcony. One of the staff even went out of her way to inform me of a shuttle to help maximize my trip at SJDS

Llave de lavamanos mal ajustada, falta donde colocar la toalla de baño en el baño, colocar repisa en lavamanos ducha para colocar el shampoo. Colocar portapapeles higiénico en lavamanos pared. Baños no muy limpios.

• Anthony (10/5): - Right in the centre of San Juan Del Sur. No AC but I had a balcony which was accessed by double sliding doors. I left them open day and night with the constant high winds of the area keeping the room fresh and cool.
• Monarchi (6/5): Buono ostello ma da migliorare - Sicuramente la posizione aiuta molto. Anche il fatto che i letti dei dormitori siano grandi. Servizio shuttle per le altre spiaggia e anche colazione inclusa che nonostante non sia niente di che fa il suo. Camere troppo calde anche se con i ventilatori. La sera, essendo che la porta della camera da direttamente sul patio, con il vento non rimaneva chiusa allo stipite che sbatteva ripetutamente per tutta la notte non facendomi dormire bene e la stessa cosa per la struttura dei letti essendo fatta di ferro. Ho chiesto aiuto alla reception ma senza successo.

Türen im Dorm schließen nicht, weder die Balkon- noch die Zimmertür, sehr zugig, alles klappert, ohne Ohrenstöpsel hätte ich hier kein Auge zugemacht. Bad sehr basic, keine Fliesen, Sauberkeit lässt zu wünschen übrig, nur kaltes Wasser. Küchenpersonal könnte freundlicher sein, die Qualität des Frühstücks war überschaubar. Kaffee kostet extra.
• Perla (2/5): No recommending this place for family looking to a peaceful place. And work what you get for your money no worthy - The location itself was decent—I’ve definitely seen worse and better. However, the main issue was the noise. Many guests were hanging out late in the community spaces such as the hammocks, patios, and rooftop, drinking and partying. Unfortunately, this made it extremely difficult to sleep, as I could hear conversations right through my windows each night. This place doesn’t feel suitable for families, as I personally wouldn’t feel comfortable bringing my kids here. It has more of a party hostel vibe than a family-friendly environment. The kitchen staff were also not very accommodating. When I requested fresh eggs due to health issues (I cannot eat processed foods), I was told the boxed eggs were “the same as natural eggs,” and my request for two hard-boiled eggs was denied. The way it was handled felt dismissive and with attitude. Because of this, I had to spend over $1,000 just to provide my family with a proper breakfast, even though the meal was supposed to be included. For the price of the stay, I would have expected a more decent breakfast, at the very least including coffee, instead of having to pay extra for it. It also felt like almost everything came with additional charges — meals, coffee, and even small items — which was disappointing. Overall, I feel the breakfast and service did not match the standard I expected for the amount I paid, and I hope the hotel can improve in these areas.

• Jordi (4/5): Dark private bedrooms, good location for a last minute options. - The hostel is located centrally and the beach/restaurants were only a short walk away. The communal seating areas downstairs were nice and open and the WiFi worked well. The staff were super nice and helpful. There’s a shuttle to take to the beaches, which are nicer than SJDS beach and they’re not too pricey. Breakfast was fine, a few different options and good portions. The private bedrooms have no windows, it felt a bit like a prison and it was stuffy, so we didn’t enjoy sleeping there. Also the rooms are extremely noisy, as the only thing separating you from your neighbours is some wood. So if your neighbour talks loudly in their bathroom, you will understand everything. Coffee not included in breakfast was odd.

El personal de recepción y de limpieza fue amable, en la cocina para ordenar el desayuno no tanto el primer día 1 de enero en la mañana en la ventana donde se ordena salude a la señora amablemente y le dije buenas,hola y me respondió DIGA con una actitud y mala cara... El 2 de enero la chica joven fue amable y ya el 3 no fui yo a ordenar el desayuno fue uno de mis amigos así que no se quien estaba.

• Nilla (5/5): Would not book there again - The location was really great and the including breakfast was accommodating. Good chicken bus to go to the beaches. There are no curtains in the dorms, the windows are always open so the noise is excruciating from the street just below. The beds are not comfortable and the curtains are see through. There is only cold water in the shower, little pressure and no space to put your clothes or toiletries… No real social space, only table to eat or 2-3 hamacs here and there. Overall we do not recommend.

• VDaniel07 (8/5): - Buen hostal, con habitaciones privadas y compartidas. Yo me quedé en una habitación compartida, y todo muy bien. Hay ventiladores, pensé que iba a tener más calor, pero la verdad no se sintió mucho por la noche y refrescan algo los ventiladores que hay en el techo. Las camas cuentan con sus cortinas para mayor privacidad. Abajo de las camas hay unas jaulas para dejar las maletas, y se puede poner candado. El desayuno incluido rico y suficiente (a la carta). El hostal queda como a 2 cuadras del malecón y de uno de sus puntos principales. Que en una habitación para 10 personas solo haya 1 baño. El desayuno no te incluye café (este debes de pagarlo extra, lo cual se me hace un poco mal esto). Mejorar un poco la limpieza de los baños.

• Tresser (3/5): - Die Lage ist gut. -Die gute Lage rechtfertigt überhaupt nicht den hohen Hotelpreis. -Das Zimmer hat kein Tageslicht und ist völlig 0815. -kein Duschvorhang vorhanden, sodass der Fußboden schnell feucht wird. -Der Fußboden im Badezimmer wird immer wieder feucht, auch ohne Duschen und auch wenn man ihn vorher getrockner hat. -Ablage für Kulturbeutel, Zahnputzzeug etc. ist im Badezimmer nicht vorhanden. -Wenn es regnet (das ist in der Regenzeit fast täglich der Fall), sind die Gänge im Treppenhaus feucht. -Das Frühstück beinhaltet kein Getränk, im Rahmen der Buchung gab es dafpr keinen Hinweis (in Leon habe ich dagegen Kaffee gratis vom Hotel erhalten, obwohl ich dort gar kein Frühstück gebucht hatte). -Das Frühstück wird nicht an den Tisch gebracht. Wenn die Küche es zubereitet hat, muss man es abholen. -Tagsüber ist es im Hotel recht laut. -Am Tag der Anreise erhielt ich eine eMail mit einer ungewöhnlich langen Liste an Hotelregeln. Unter anderem soll der Hotelgast wie bei einem Mietwagen alle Schäden im Hotelzimmer auflisten soll und später für nicht erkannte Schäden aufkommen musd. Das ist absurd!! -Das Hotel schickt einem zahlreiche inhaltsleere eMails, ging aber auf meine Beanstandung überhaupt nicht ein. -Das Personal, mit dem ich zu tun hatte, war wenig freundlich.

• Jordan (1/5): I’ve seen nicer jail cells than these private rooms - This place has no business renting their Private rooms at $50 a night. They have been put together in the laziest and cheapest way possible. It Wasn’t clean. There’s no tile on the floor. The shower is made of cheap plastic tubes. Cold water only. They don’t even give you a blanket they give you just a thin sheet instead. Breakfast was terrible, they put scrambled eggs over top of watermelon mixing the two. Even after spending $50 a night on their terrible room they still don’t include coffee with the breakfast. They make you pay extra for that.

• Yerison (9/5): Great hostel when staying in San Juan - The hostel is near the beach and all the restaurants in the area. The room was spacious and it had all the essentials needed. The AC unit is a must while in San Juan. The were times where there was no electricity. However i don’t know how much this depends on the hostel. Breakfast options can be improved.

It is open late to make check in late. No Many good things can be said for this place, only his location. The bathroom didn't has water. The room did not has ceiling. the floor tiles were in bad shape. some pieces where loose others were crack. The room has a rare smell. The included breakfast was very basic and did not include coffee.

• Ember (8/5): fine overall: not a comfortable place to hang out, but you can start your day with a good breakfast and end it in a clea - good location, AC and fans are so appreciated, and the breakfast options are really nice. free filtered water on each floor. pretty clean, the roof offers a lot of peace and good views. bunk beds have curtains which are efficient for privacy (but not blocking light). it all feels very commercial: it doesn't seem like they enjoy accommodating. rather, tourists are just a consistent way to make money. i don't need the staff to be my buddies, but a smile goes a long way. the staff is almost exclusively men. some seem kind, but most just stare. for balance, vibe, and comfort, they could really stand to hire some women (and not just for cooking and housekeeping). the dorms are very crowded, which is such a shame where snorers and messy surfer bros are concerned. loads of street noise, even over the fans and AC -- but that says more about the culture of the town than the hostel. there are a lot of a-holes being as loud as possible on motorbikes and ATVs here ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ it doesn't feel very secure, as the main floor is fully open to the streets. they permit vending & solicitation in the cafe section, so your meals and coffees and digital nomad tasks will be disturbed by people coming in to sell bracelets and toys and snacks. they close the walls at night and there is at least security. there are cheaper, friendlier hostels with similar amenities within walking distance. maybe this is a good place if you just need a place to sleep between adventures. i don't recommend it on a personal level, but it's fine overall.

• Manukian (9/5): Great place, super convenient and fun - Great lobby, very good shuttles, and good cafe. The free breakfast was delicious. Rooms were very nice, with large lockers and lots of privacy. Great location as well. No available towels
