Guest Reviews
- keenan (6/5): - The stay was nice for the price you are paying.
My room kinda had a musty and damp smell to it and they only provide sheets no blankets.
But at 20 dollars a night you cant really complain.
The staff were friendly and helpful with tours ect.
If your looking for a buget room and dont have high expectations i would definitely suggest it.
- Adelaide (10/5): - Property very clean and staff very friendly. I checked out late due to flight delayed
- margalit (10/5): Quiet stay in the secret garden - The stay here was lovely, and it is close to the town square and the beach. I slept like a queen with black out curtains, and ac after a warm shower. Thank you for the hospitality.
- Josh (10/5): - Good location and very close to the beach. The hotel was very nice, friendly staff and we loved to play with their puppy.
- Estibaliz (10/5): - great
- Sarah (10/5): - Vraiment un bel endroit! On a tout apprécié:)
- kaitlyn (10/5): - Super nice staff. Gotta room upgrade for free and it was clean beds were comfy with multiple pillows. Hot and cold water w pressure for showers. Right at the end of the Main Street and only second away from restaurants and entertainment. Super quiet loved this little spot
- Antonello (6/5): You get what you pay for - Easy place, good for 1 or 2 nights.
Rooms are super small, but clean and tidy.
Location is good, just few minutes away from the walking street in El Nido
- Petr (8/5): - Good and quiet location. They offer drinking water from barel - cool or hot.
- Sameh (4/5): - The entrance to this pension is a terrible narrow unpaved alley with no enough light or signs at night, so getting in and out at night time is so unpleasant , we visted the pension to check in but we had to cancel our reservation for two nights for no refund because of that. If you are on a tight budget this place is still a good choice.
- Jessica (10/5): - Hotel was very pretty, like the name says is well hidden but quiet pretty, rooms was very basic, no tv, quite small but it was ok as we was only staying there for 3 nights. Is very near the main restaurants and everything else which was nice, the beach was only 5 mins away if not less. Staff were really nice and welcoming.
- Darrell (8/5): - The was nice and peaceful area away a little from main town, guest service was excellent! In ever way.
- Edder (8/5): - Amazing property and great location. In El Nido proper, 2 min walk to town and across the street from beach.
Staff was always friendly and always around.
- Benjamin (10/5): - room clean and well cared for. staff friendly, cooperative. Great place for the price.
- Achilles (8/5): - The property is away from the noise and crowds but close enough to the action. Staff are generally very helpful and friendly
- Jonathan (10/5): Quiet place - This place is very calm and quiet, i really liked it. I would definitely go back.
- SmilingEverett (10/5): - I’ve been to many places and found myself at home here. My girl and wanted to stay longer.
Wish we could move in😁
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Overall a good spot for the low price. Upon entering the room there was a bit of an odor likely due to the high humidity. After turning on the fan or air conditioner it goes away. On my second day, there was a blackout in all of El Nido so staying in the room was not an option because no lights, fan or air conditioning. Considering the place is a cheap pension there isn't a generator to provide power during blackouts. The staff was friendly and helpful. If you're on a budget and don't plan on spending time in the room it's fine.
- Rainey (10/5): - Staff was very nice. The owner of the place was very nice and had us booked a ticket for a van going back to Puerto Princesa. Room was clean. Place was quiet. The place is near the port area when you do the Tours. When we got there last Sept 20, 2019. Some of the area was under construction. But it didn’t bother us for the duration of our stay. Will definitely be back.
- Matz-Lennart (8/5): Bra budjetthotel - Lugnt rent och bra hotell
- patrik (10/5): - Very nice, centric. For a couple of nights is perfect
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Quiet little place to sleep and shower, but a little hard to find :).
I had a few mosquitos in the room, but that is normal.
I really like the quiet place and the host was amazing.
Definitely no "western standards" but I found it very clean and comfortable.
I would stay again!
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Super helpful hosts, free tea/coffee every morning
- Joshua (10/5): A Decent 6 night Stay - I liked my stay there. The location is just far enough away fm all the action as it's a peaceful stay. I also enjoyed the hotel staff leaving coffee every morning on my little porch. Don't expect to get water pressure when taking a shower and expect EL Nido to get Black outs for 1-2 hrs just about every night!
- Meecheer (10/5): - This place it really HIDDEN!! Really liked the place, including the staff, location to the center of town and the room is great for the price. We only had problem with the water being clogged in the shower and the water has metal taste in it. (Consider yourself warned, most places in El Nido have this problem) We liked the privacy and quietness of the place, the compound is single floored surrounding a garden. They bring coffee/tea maker to your patio every morning and if you do request more it is free of charge. There's bakeries just down the street. AC works perfectly. Bed is on the stiffer side. The room is not newly furnished, but decent and roomy enough! Will def come back!
- Verified traveler (8/5): -
- Samuel (10/5): Lovely staff and great location - Great location in town, rooms are clean and fresh an staff are lovely and will help when ever they can
- Greg (8/5): - It’s a clean, quiet, safe place to sleep. Not much more. Location is great.
- Brian (10/5): Awesome Hidden Gem - Hotel is in a great location, very nice touch is the coffee served on the balcony in the morning. Very friendly and helpful staff. Room is clean, hot water, comfortable bed. Ian arranged a scooter and all our tours for us which made it very convenient. Thanks so much Ian for all your help. We had a wonderful six night stay.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Noisy but otherwise as advertised - This place is tucked down an alley with its own garden. However, it isn’t as tranquil as you would think. Both mornings we stayed here, we woke up to what sounded like 50 babies crying/screaming/playing outside our door. There’s also construction going on around the property, and we had a member of the staff walk into our room without knocking while we were inside. The room itself was comfortable, and they bring free tea and coffee each morning, so that was a nice bonus!
- Gokhan (8/5): Recomended! - It was close to town center and 40 second to the beach. Room was in a good condition with a aircon. Bed was very comfy. There is a little garden makes you feel good too. There is a table and chairs outside of room so you can enjoy your free coffee and tea every morning! There is only one thing they can improve is hotel sign. They can really solve this issue with a proper signage to find the hotel for the first time. Apart from that it was all good!
- Colleen (10/5): Great place, great location, great staff - The staff exspecially Ian was very helpful and catered to all our needs. The room was clean and comfortable. As it’s name says it is hidden away but close to everything. I would definitely stay here again.
- Darya (10/5): Good place - Very clean. Very hidden. Was a little hard to find. But we got what we paid for. :)
- Alex (10/5): - Amazing value for money. Was paying over double what I was here for a dirty hotel in el nido. Very clean, great hot shower, comfy bed and a great location.
