- Pablo (10/5): Ruhiges Hotel mit sehr freundlichem Personal, angenehmer Atmosphäre und guter Lage für Durchreisende. - Ich habe schon mehrere Male hier übernachtet und es wird definitiv nicht das letzte Mal gewesen sein. Da ich oft auf der Durchreise bin, wähle ich immer wieder dieses Hotel. Besonders begeistert bin ich jedes Mal vom freundlichen Empfang und den hilfsbereiten Mitarbeitern. Die ruhige Lage gefällt mir sehr und trotzdem gibt es Restaurants und alles Wichtige in der Nähe. Man kann hier einfach gut entspannen und sich wohlfühlen. Für mich immer wieder eine klare Empfehlung.

- Frank (10/5): Top - Ich hatte eine sehr schöne Erfahrung in diesem Hotel. Alles war wirklich hervorragend organisiert und das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Besonders gut hat mir das Frühstück gefallen – es war sehr lecker und es gab eine große Auswahl. Auch der Kaffee war von sehr guter Qualität und hat mir sehr gut geschmeckt. Insgesamt war mein Aufenthalt sehr angenehm und ich kann dieses Hotel auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen.👍

- Charles (10/5): Lovely hotel, thanks for a great stay - This is a lovely hotel with rooms looking out onto the main square of the village. We were there for the Christmas Market which is a one-day-only event in the village (there were also Christmas Markets at Winningen, Koblenz and Cochem which are within easy reach). Our room was large and comfortable, and the hotel was very quiet as there were few people staying there. Breakfast was very good and the staff were very friendly and attentive. There is also a restaurant at the hotel, although we didn't eat there as we were out much of the time. We found plenty to occupy ourselves in the village and also visited other places nearby (we went by train and by bus). If you like local Christmas Markets then consider this one, I think we were the only tourists there and there were live music performances for much of the day, lots of lovely stalls and we were made to feel very welcome, it's usually the first Sunday of Advent but best to check online first. The hotel is a 15 minute walk from the train station along the river, but there is a taxi firm at the station and another option is to take a bus from Koblenz or Cochem which will stop within a few metres of the hotel.

- Botschek (4/5): Ausschlaggebend für die negative Bewertung ist der Kanalisationsgeruch im Zimmer. - Sehr zentrale Lage. Grosses Familienzimmer mit Sitzgruppe. Ausreichend Stauraum. Frühstücksbrötchen frisch Das Hotel scheint ein Kanalisationsproblem zu haben. Aus dem Badezimmer kam ein übler Gestank. Auch der Rest der Familie in den Doppelzimmern hat das wahrgenommen. Kaffee aus Thermoskannen war grenzwertig temperiert.

Gute Option als Etappenziel für den Moselsteig, insbesondere, da es in Kobern-Gondorf wenig Alternativen gibt. Recht kleines Zimmer, das Hotel könnte insgesamt eine Renovierung vertragen.

- Roland (2/5): Ist das Geld nicht wert. - Die Lage ist sehr gut. Es ist kein 3 Sternehotel und muss unbedingt saniert werden. Badezimmer ohne Lüftung und Schimmel an der Decke. Badezimmer konnte man nicht schließen.
- Ilona (2/5): - Die Lage Der erste Eindruck war der Biergarten, völlig zugemüllt. Dann das Versprechen man kümmere sich um Strom für die Akkus unserer eBikes, das war gleich null. Böse Überraschung am Morgen. Die Betten waren teilweise wackelig und viel zu weich. Frühstück sollte um acht starten, da fing der junge Mann gerade mal damit an etwas vorzubereiten und wir wollten früh zum Zug. Teewasser war kalt, Kaffee lauwarm, Eier kalt usw. nachts war es sehr laut vorm Hotel und es waren die Besitzer selbst, die nachts den Radau gemacht haben. Als Gast musste man dann um 2 Uhr die Fenster schließen, damit die leuchten feiern können und dann morgens aufs Frühstück warten, da sie ja nicht ausgeschlafen hatten. Reinste Katastrophe. Und das bei den Preisen

- Sylvia (3/5): - Das Hotel Simonis scheint eines der wenigen verbliebenen am Ort zu sein. Der Ort ist touristisch fast tot. Das Hotel gehört zur daneben liegenden Pizzeria, wo man als Hotelgast Rabatt aufs Essen bekommt. Im Hotel gibt es Frühstück, das ständig aufgefüllt wird, soviel zum Positiven. Unser Zimmer hatte einen uringelben Toilettendeckel, Löcher in den Bettlaken, Schimmel in der Dusche und war wirklich sehr hellhörig.

Handtücher "hart", Zimmertür schließt nur mit Schlüssel. Hinterhof zum Turmzimmer verdreckt, es riecht entsprechend bei offenem Fenster. Freundliche Besitzer, ich habe alle Positionen hierzu an der Rezeption mitgeteilt.

- Elke (7/5): Schöner Aufenthalt in einem urigen Hotel mit nettem Personal. - Das Frühstück war normal; ich hätte mir etwas mehr Käsesorten gewünscht. Das Personal war sehr nett und freundlich. Familienbetrieb/Pakistani. Das Restaurant nebenan gehört auch dazu. Das Essen war okay. Wir hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt dort und haben uns wohl gefühlt. Wir hatten das Doppelzimmer im Turm - weiße Gardinen und helle Ausstattung bei Booking.com gebucht. Das war jedenfalls so auf dem Foto unserer Buchungsbestätigung zu sehen. Wir haben ein anderes Zimmer bekommen, was auch mit einem Himmelbett ausgestattet war, aber eben nicht ganz oben im Turm. Das war aber auch sehr schön, deshalb war es nicht so tragisch. Man sollte aber schon das bekommen, was auf den Fotos der Buchungsbestätigung dargestellt wurde. Das Haus ist sichtbar in die Jahre gekommen, aber alles war sauber, bis auf die Duschleiste. Hier wäre es besser gewesen, das Silikon zu erneuern, anstatt eine Leiste drüber zu kleben. Das Angebot von Wasser hat auf dem Zimmer gefehlt. Die Dekoration war abenteuerlich und teilweise gruselig. :-)

- Meike (8/5): - Wir hatten einen super flexiblen Check-in, haben die Schlüssel noch vor der angegebenen Zeit erhalten und konnten unsere Sachen bereits in einem der fertigen Zimmer deponieren. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die Sauberkeit der Zimmer (wir hatten 1x Doppelzimmer und 2x Dreibettzimmer), die Einrichtung ist einfach, aber es hat an nichts gefehlt. Nachts konnte man ohne Probleme mit geöffnetem Fenstern schlafen. Beim Frühstück war alles da, was man braucht, und das Personal war immer freundlich und hilfsbereit. Kostenloses Parken ist im Umkreis von wenigen Metern möglich, die Mosel ist ebenfalls fußläufig erreichbar.

- SABAH (6/5): - Einrichtung zweckmäßig , unkonfortabel, für Senioren nicht Barrierefrei. Personal nicht präsent . Frühstücksangebot schlecht im vergleich zum Nachbarhotel.
- Koen (7/5): Good - Clean, friendly staff, next to two restaurants. Location , the village is not alive. Breakfast was very basic. Eggs for example were completely over cooked.

- Francesca (6/5): Buona posizione ma hotel vecchio - Hôtel in posizione eccezionale ma abbiamo scelto im periodo sbagliato (fine ottobre), hotel vuoto in un paese fantasma e tutte le attività economiche chiuse, abbiamo mangiato un panino con il würstel nel parcheggio del supermercato. Bisognerebbe tornare in estate. Le camere non corrispondevano alle foto, in po vecchie senza nessun servizio (macchinetta per il caffè e the) ma con un buon materasso e alla fine abbiamo dormito bene.
- Jessica (6/5): Bra läge men behövs en uppfräschning! - Slitet hotell som verkligen skulle behöva en översyn och uppfräschning men bra läge vid det lilla torget. Mycket bra restaurang kopplad till hotellet. Helt okej frukost. Men...alldeles för hård säng -varför ingen mjuk bäddmadrass?? Väldigt lyhört mellan rummen, vansinnig kran i tvättstället i badrummet -vattnet sprutar åt alla håll! Toalettsitsen gick inte att fälla upp.

- Harry (6/5): Onpersoonlijk hotel geworden. - Helaas zaten er nieuw eigenaren op het hotel waardoor het allemaal erg afstandelijk was. Het ontbijt was karig met groen blauwe hardgekookte eieren en er was tijdens het ontbijt niemand om je wensen mee te bespreken. Er zit geen liefde meer in de bedrijfsvoering.
- Ruth (6/5): - The internet did not work in our room on the top floor. The building smelled a bit strange (maybe from past floods). Our room was supposed to have a „garden view with tower“, but the window overlooked garbage in a backyard. We were kindly offered different rooms at no extra cost, but we wanted to stay together in the family room (there were no other family rooms available). There was a low hanging antler chandelier which caused a gash on my brother-in-law‘s head. We asked for two extra pillows at reception, and were told someone would bring them. The pillows never arrived, and we couldn’t reach anyone at reception to remind them. The shower nearly overflowed so we didn’t all shower. The hotel was clean and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was nicely prepared and had good variety. An improvement suggestion: stick with the traditional decorations. Our room was decorated nicely, if one ignored the skateboard coat rack and red chairs. The stairwell contained incongruous pastel Easter decorations (it is June). The triangles painted on the walls look like they’re from the 80s. The breakfast area was pretty, but the next room was used partially for storage. I would recommend storing things out of sight. We enjoyed the pool table. The staff were friendly. As stated in the description, there is no convenient parking and no elevator.

- Jason (5/5): We were placed or I booked the suit, this was not good and felt dirty and dark with poor fittings. They advertise a bee - Quick check in and location It was run by a male dominated staff, it had under gone renovations but very cheaply done, it was untidy and dark, it had potential for food/breakfast as there is a modern supermarket 100 m away, but they chose to deliver half baked bread rolls with a basic breakfast spread. This did not meet my expectations for a German hotel run by Asians

- Richard (10/5): Excellent place for a touring break - Hotel really pleasant. Clean, tidy and recently done up. Shower room well above usual standard of similar hotels i have stayed in. Good breakfast with lots of variety. The team were very attentive. 10 % discount at next door pizzeria welcome extra. Well placed in centre of village wirh easy access to lots of great places to visit.

- Melvik (8/5): Money value stay in the middle of the city - Italian family-owned businesses! The host was very friendly. The room was good enough and nicely decorated. Free breakfast was offered in the morning from 8am but we had to leave early so we skipped it but restaurant area was nice and cozy. We had many flies in the room. I'm not sure if it is a city thing or the hotel, but they didn't bite us at least.
- Bounds (7/5): A wonderful over night stop over in a beautiful village adjoining the Moselle. Marred only by a really annoying parking - The Hotel was really beautiful & had a lot of character. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Our room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The breakfast was superb. Kobern-Gondorf is a gem of a characterful village. We were misadvised about the over night car parking in a nearby public carpark for which there were NO SIGNS or markings depicting parking restrictions. We were annoyed to receive a €25 parking fine the following morning, for which an appeal was unsuccessful. Be warned!!
- Dieter (6/5): - Das Zimmer war sehr primitiv eigerichtet, das Bad sehr eng. Das angebliche italienische Lokal, bzw. Pizzeria existierte nicht. Das Frühstück war okay.
