Ch Goujonnerie is 'THE' most charming Chateau we have had the priviledge to stay. It was exceptionally difficult to say goodbye after 5 nights. Isabella, Natalie AND Stephen and Michel were the most charming hosts. We will never forget their care to guests. We look forward to returning again and is a great place for a base camp if you want to visit La Rochell or Il de Re or so many other places along the sea and throughout Vendee. They also offer Gites that some may prefer.

El desayuno excelente en compañia con los demas invitados. El anfitrion, un sueco dueno de una galeria de arte en Londres, super enrollado. Y la piscina exterior climatizada se puede usar a cualquier hora del dia, ... y de la noche! Y encima te pudes preparar un combinado, un vino o una cerveza en la cocina (y llevartelo a la psicina). Al final pagas la voluntad sobre lo que has bebido, fantastico!! La venecia verde esta a tan solo 30 miutos, y varios pueblos interesantes, con restaurantes, a menos de 15``. Volveremos seguro cuando pasemos por aqui.

- tracy (10/5): The REAL Chateau experience - This place will spoil you for all other chateau stays in France. The building is a dreamy fairytale structure with a gorgeous pool in the summer. The interior is perfection and for decor or furniture aficionados, worth the price of admission as a primer on how to decorate. Every room is eye candy, as good design should be. The designers (a famous London trio) have spared no expense and it shows. Antiques are juxtaposed against mid-century modern and plenty of whimsical pieces thrown in. The shower rooms constructed within the turrets are amazing. Aside from the interior marvels, the host Stefan was exemplary, making good on a small mix up immediately. Breakfast was the best and Julie offered tips on the area and French life. I will be back.
