Unfortunately didn’t use the Spa facilities. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Was not many products in the room for a Spa Hotel. No product dispensers In Shower. No shower cap or bathroom amenities. No robe or slippers in the room.

Our room was freezing cold, asked 3 times for the heating to be turned up. Eventually 2 heaters were brought to us to plug in in the lounge and bedroom .

The only down side being that there was no view from the window, the pillows were too hard (for myself) and the mattress although comfortable was sunk into the wooden frame of the bed, thereby bruising my hamstrings when getting up out of bed. The meal in the, " orangery," only one type of steak available, which was dry and was a fillet steak. Chips we're nice (treble cooked). Spa was really nice, so relaxing.
- William (5/5): Nice enough hotel but it is basically a spa hotel - Downstairs it’s quite a plush hotel but upstairs starting to show its age . Creaking floor boards and everything a bit dated .the main corridor carpet looked fairly new but inside our room everything looked really dated . It’s been a grand hotel when it opened but is in need of modernisation upstairs . Older power sockets with no usb charging points . The bathroom looked particularly dingy . The balcony was unusable due to it being covered in foliage . Might look ok from the ground but inside the balcony is pretty much useless This is basically a spa hotel and as such residents float around with their goonies on . I personally think they should be restricted to the spa area . You don’t need to see rather large individuals mincing around with a robe and slippers on especially at breakfast if your not going to use the spa give this a miss .

They also needed some form of entertainment in the bar as it was a bit boring after we’d ate. The back massage from Lisa was the single best back massage I’ve ever had!
