Arryanne Queiroz (8/5): Pode melhorar, mas é bem bom! - Do local. Muitas árvores. As instalações sao simples, mas aconchegantes. Os cobertores muito bons. O colchão é otimo. O banheiro tem boa água quente. Café da manhã bom (fresquinho) e tratamento amistoso no café da manhã. A localização realmente é um diferencial. A roupa de cama esta meio puída, precisa trocar. Os travesseiros sao muito murchos e moles. A piscina poderia ser aquecida porque é pequena mesmo e parece uma jacuzzi, bem gelada no entanto. Também fomos interpelados (por duas vezes), às 19h do primeiro e também do segundo dia, para que nossas crianças, de 8, 9, 10 e 11 anos parassem de brincar no deck que tem mesa para congregação, ótimo espaço aliás. O argumento do funcionário é que "havia um atleta de parapente dormindo". A abordagem foi negativa por 3 motivos: o horário estava bem abaixo de 22horas; não havia gritaria; a pousada não é vedada para crianças. O funcionário respondeu que "estava sendo educado", e nós replicamos que estávamos também, mas não concordávamos com ele. Foi bem desagradável.

Café da manhã, conforto da suíte 3 e as áreas comuns são os pontos fortes da pousada. Café muito gostoso, tudo fresquino, bem feito e de ótima qualidade. Áreas comuns muito agradáveis, com rede, cadeira da balanço, muito verde e espaço ao ar livre. Nossa suíte (3) muito espaçosa e confortável, fiel as fotos. Nada. Sugestão, se algum dia fizer sentido aquecer a piscina, seria incrível devido ao clima mais frio da região.

Agradeço a Sara pela compreensão e pela atitude pró ativa . A melhorar o estacionamento, os secadores de cabelo. Estacionamento muito inclinado há espaço para fazer uma área mais adequada. O secador de cabelo é ruim trocar por um mais potente.

O chalé era lindo, extremamente romântico e bem decorado. Muito espaçoso e limpo. A cama era muito macia. A vista era linda. Fica localizada um pouco afastada de Inhotim, mas vale a pena pois o lugar é cheio de natureza e muito tranquilo. O café da manhã é excelente, bem sortido e com vários itens locais. Nós fomos atendidos pelo Pietre que foi excepcional. Extremamente atencioso, nos deu dicas sobre a região. Nada.

The rooms were spacious, immaculately clean, and beautifully designed with a cozy, rustic touch that perfectly complements the natural surroundings. Each morning, we were treated to a fantastic breakfast featuring fresh local ingredients—delicious pão de queijo, tropical fruits, and expertly brewed coffee were just a few of the highlights. The location couldn’t be better for anyone visiting Brumadinho. It’s close to the Inhotim Museum, yet tucked away in a serene setting surrounded by lush greenery and breathtaking views. During our week stay we visited near by historical towns, Ouro Preto and Mariana. The property also offers plenty of areas to relax, from hammocks under the trees to a peaceful heated swimming pool/jacuzzi. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect, offering excellent recommendations for nearby attractions and ensuring every detail was just right. Villa Rica Pousada is the perfect escape for anyone looking to experience the beauty of Minas Gerais with unmatched comfort and hospitality. Highly recommended!

The "pool" is in fact a hot tub, except that it isn't heated and therefore impossible to use which was frustrating for the kids. The facilities are nice but not luxurious, the price seems inadequate for the value in my perspective.

Jennifer (10/5): Hidden Gem - Absolutely wonderful find. After our first night here we decided to cancel our plans extend our stay here. The property is so peaceful and quiet. We rented the two bedroom chalet and it was a perfect size for the three of us. I cannot stress enough just how attentive and wonderful the staff is here. The breakfast was absolutely amazing and we ended up dining in all three nights here because the food is outstanding and the atmosphere here is unique and cozy. Pois se todos os hóspedes resolverem ir ao mesmo tempo..ficaria super lotado.. Pequenas coisas como colocar música ambiente durante o café da manhã e no deck seriam providenciais. A pousada tem ares de galeria de arte, onde estão expostos com muito bom gosto, obras de artistas mineiros. Quarto amplo com todas as comodidades. Excelente café da manhã. Recomendo.
Margaret (10/5): Wonderful retreat in the woods - We had a lovely stay at Villa Rica following a visit to the Inhotim art center and botanical garden. The hosts and staff were welcoming and helpful. The inn is set is a beautifully landscaped lush garden. Breakfast on the terrace was a wonderful treat. We could have sat there happily all day.

Every meal was delicious and the art and artisanal pieces are great. It is within driving distance to Inhotim. It can get a bit cold in the winter at night; bring a sweater and pants.
