Guest Reviews
- RichardTwinch (10/5): Convivial hospitality in the centre of Frome. - Excellent breakfast. Convivial host - great welcome. Spacious room - well equipped. Good wifi. Comfortable bed. Good shower. Difficult getting in and out of the driveway. You need to be extra careful. But OK if you think it through. It is a bit noisy from time to time - but earplugs supplied and double glazing helped a lot. Location perfect.

- Judith (9/5): Perfect B&B in a great location - Lovely old property which had been sympathetically renovated. It was easy to find with Claire's very clear instructions, and was well placed for walking into the town and all restaurants.
Our room and bathroom were very spacious and comfortable.
Claire was a delightful host, and served a lovely cooked breakfast. She provided the few items we requested for the room, and was happy to freeze our ice blocks!
- Michelle (10/5): Absolutely wonderful, highly recommend & would definitely return. - Claire was a wonderful host! Very friendly & welcoming to her beautiful home. She showed us to our gorgeous & huge room (with original 18th century elm floor boards) and explained how a few things worked & then we were left to come & go as we wished. She couldn't have been more accommodating.
Fantastic location, a few minutes walk from lovely restaurants, pubs, wine bars & shops in the beautiful cobbled streets of St. Catherine's. There is a great open air market on the 1st Sunday of each month which is definitely worth a visit!
The breakfast was excellent! Perfectly cooked full English (with vegan or vegetarian options), freshly brewed coffee, fresh bread, yoghurt, fruit, granola etc...delicious! Be sure to check out the 'Priest's hole' in the dining room too!

- Patricia (8/5): Very comfortable 😁 - Claire was phenomenal. Very friendly and welcoming! It’s on a busy road, and the room was priced on par with a whole cottage nearby that could sleep 6 - so, a tad pricey.
- Nicholas (10/5): The property was close to the cheese and grain venue Claire was a lovely host . The breakfast was perfect and will stay - The property had lots of period features , my old school friend lived there and it brought back so many fond memories of when I had sleep overs 41 years ago . The location is great and parking was very useful. Highly recommended.
- Vicki (9/5): Excellent welcoming stay. - Superb central location with safe parking. Claire was such a friendly welcoming host. Lovely big room. Rome is a beautiful town and this location was brilliant for the concert at the Cheese & Grain. Just a minor thing that next time we'll ask for a room at the back as that would be quieter.
- Sean (10/5): - A great 1 night stay. From the first welcome, an excellent room, a good nights slerp and a great breakfast not sure what else to add.
Be aware though that traffic noise in our room may annoy some people, luckily not us but ear plugs were provided if needed.

Great breakfast and lovely hostess who gave some great advice on where to eat and what to see Nothing
- Stuart (10/5): Loved everything about the place. - A welcoming host and a wonderful house with excellent access to the main town Centre of Froome. Excellent breakfast too. All round a lovely place to spend a night. The communal breakfast isn’t to my personal taste but it was compounded by no music being piped into the room. A minor thing but would definitely help the ambiance for breakfast.
