Barry (4/5): not relaxing - breakfast was great The initial room i was given smelled of mold and had an old washer dryer sitting outside the door. I asked for a new room and had to pay more. They were under construction in the kitchen, music was left on loud. They are adding a parking lot to the lower area so that was under construction as will and did not stop until 10 PM. Thank heavens I had my noise blocker. They call themselves a natural park. It is far from that, it is a series of buildings which they have managed to plant well. It was not as they portray it. Good for a night to break the drive up and that is it.

L'endroit est sécurisant avec un parking privé. Le personnel aimable fait tout son possible pour en faire un séjour très agréable, toujours disponible, toujours heureux de vous aider, polis et expérimentés. Un environnement très accueillant et très reposant. Boissons, thé, café sont disponible. L'immense jardin pour se promener est un plus, la piscine est propre et le jacuzzi au top. Un billard est disponible ainsi qu'un grand trampoline ! Nous avons dîné au restaurant une fois et c'était très bien préparé. La chambre était très confortable, propre, avec de l'eau chaude, un frigo et un micro-ondes. L'emplacement est à seulement 15mn de voiture de la grande ville, des supermarchés, restaurants... Bref, nous y reviendrons certainement.

Kindly managed by Nicolas and his team - Amazing place on the top hills of Santo Cerro, nested among trees, with a breathtaking view on the plain. And the team will do all they can to ensure you have a great stay. We were warmly welcomed by Nicolas, even though it was late. He and his team organised a tasty late dinner for us. The breakfast was delicious and we enjoyed it while watching birds having theirs in the trees and as clouds were lifting up. It is also very quiet. The room was simple but comfy. The bathroom is small but water was hot and enjoyable. You can enjoy discovering old la vega ruins and drive to Jarabacoa for the day (make sure to have an ice cream, as recommended by Nicolas!). Despite the fact that we don't know Spanish and they don't know English, they tried very hard to find us as many interesting things to see in the area as possible using google translate. Breakfast simple, but enough to start the day well. Wifi works perfect.

Carolina (9/5): Superb - The place is quiet and calm and the views are fantastic ! We spend a night there because our flight was arriving late night and we didn’t want to drive to our destination at night, so booked this hotel and we would stayed there longer if we knew how magic it was! The owners are incredible and the breakfast is a must in this place! It was really delicious ! We had to sleep half of the night with the air conditioning as it was really warm, but it made so much noise that we had to turn it off.

Would definitely stay here again. - There is an absolutely unique view from the terrace, where comfortable chairs and tables are placed for guests to sit and enjoy the view. There is a restaurant on site where you can have both breakfast and dinner. The portions are large, the food is tasty and the cost is not high. Good shower, good bed. An excellent place for a relatively small fee. Would definitely stay here again. --
James (10/5): Beautiful location, reasonable rates, and friendly staff! - The location was fabulous- up in the hills near Santo Cerro, close to La Vega but far enough away for peace and quiet. It was very pleasant to walk around the grounds of the nature park. The included breakfast was simple, but was all we needed to get us started for the day. The "hot tub" wasn't actually hot, but cool. That wasn't really a huge issue in the Dominican heat, though. We still enjoyed it.

Ramon (9/5): Superb - Great place to relax and recharge. The property is nestled in a lush mountain forest and offers amazing views of the Cibao valley and surrounding mountains. The rooms were clean/comfortable and the staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. Additionally, the property manager (Mr. Chiqui) is an amazing human being who made our stay a very special one. I would definitely recommend Santo Cerro Natural Park.

Peralta (10/5): It was so good that rest for sure I am coming back. - Staff was AWESOME. Owners gave us the most beautiful welcome I ever had. Place have a beautiful view and the room was super clean, beds were beautifully made, tv and internet worked perfectly. Chiqui is an outstanding host and a master in the kitchen, he made the most delicious meals from scratch that I have tasted. Both owners stopped by every day to make sure we were ok, and while country was threated by a tropical storm, they brought extra food to make sure we were ok and they cooked a delicious dominican soup and arepitas for us. This kind of customer service it's priceless. We liked everything about the place. Town was also full of friendly folks.

As I depend on it for my work, this was unacceptable. The pool was not kept sparkling clean as the pumps were only run once during my 3 day stay.

Jurgen (1/5): Bad - I’m sure the hotel would have been great given the many good reviews, but we didn’t get to experience it as nobody was there to open the gate for us and do our check-in. We arrived at 10pm, after confirming and agreeing this with the property. We rang at the gate and we were told that somebody would come to open the gate for us. We waited for 15 minutes, rang again and the same person advised that he was trying to contact the people supposed to be there but he couldn’t reach them. After another 15 minutes, we were told if we could find another accommodation as he couldn’t get the gate open. At 10:30pm, in a quite rural area was not the easiest thing finding another property still accepting new customers.

Wilson (10/5): my stay was peaceful and beautiful - the property was situated in a beautiful hill with one of the the best views in the city, is also close to one of the most important religious shrines in the Dominican Republic, the church dedicated to the Virgin of the Mercedes is only a 10 min walk from the property. The property is gated with private parking which was a plus for us. it was my first time in Dominican Republic in my husbands hometown and this place made me feel so close to nature surrounded with avocado trees, guava trees and mango trees. if you want nature and peace this is the place to stay. I have nothing negative to say about my stay here

And maintenance tell me the I have to wait for the next day so they can clean the pool at 6 pm. So i was going to loose one day of my vacations with no pool no refrigerator No Ac. Sorry i didn't pay for that.
