From the email a few days before asking about how to stock the mini-fridge (including a choice of complimentary cocktail!), to the efficient contactless checkin, to the delicious home-cooked breakfast (hosted by gregarious and charming Drew), to the earnest encouragement to drive safely by long-time housekeeper Edie, the stay was really noteworthy. Thanks to Drew and Deb for a lovely weekend with friends in Little Washington!

Room was well appointed and spacious with a very comfortable bed and pillows. Good water pressure in the bathroom. We abstained from breakfast as we had reservations at Patty O’s but coffee and a selection of teas were available. Will be back.

He took our welcome drink order ahead of time and had them ready upon our arrival. He was a wealth of information about the area. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast in a sunny room overlooking the gardens. The rooms were spacious with comfortable beds and AC. We enjoyed the sitting area with books and games at our disposal. All six of us would recommend staying here.

It is the perfect place to rest and relax between visits to Patty O's, Wine Loves Chocolate, and the Inn at Little Washington. We enjoyed meeting Drew, the convivial co-host of the Gay Street Inn. Not only is he knowledgeable about things to see and do in the area, but he makes a delicious breakfast quiche. Speaking of breakfast, be sure to try his homemade granola with hone yoghurt and berries. We will definitely book another stay soon.

The inn is located at one end of Gay Street, so parking (street) is easy and the location is quiet. Only a few short blocks from art galleries and shops. Inn at Little Washington/Patty O's are about a 5-minute walk. The Blue Room was spacious and quiet and did not lack any amenity -- and spotless thanks to Edie, who has worked at the inn for many years. Drew is a friendly , responsive, and knowledgeable host and an excellent resource and ambassador for the area. We were sent off in the morning with a delicious breakfast of homemade granola with yogurt and berries and a quiche dish featuring balsamic Drew and Deb brought back from their recent trip to Italy. They are also located on site should there be any unexpected issue. Look no further for your visit to Little Washington!

The Inn is a block off "busy" Main St. and we enjoyed the Inn's quiet neighborhood location. An inviting sitting room with a crackling fire, nice 5 minute walk to the IALW. Plus a gourmet morning breakfast prior to our departure.

We stayed just one night while we had dinner at the Inn at Little Washington (the walk to the Inn is about 3 blocks; not super easy on a cold fall night, but not too bad either). The B&B has everything you can ask for: quiet, comfortable bed and fairly spacious. And it’s the little things that mattered the most: Lots of towel hooks in bathroom, extra bathroom counter space, full length mirror, charging stations on each bedside table, nightlight in bathroom. All things that show the proprietors have their guests’ comfort in mind.

The Blue Room on the second floor was spacious, well-appointed and extremely comfortable - King bed, a long bench for luggage, comfortable chairs for reading, and a frig stocked with free sodas and water. The Inn itself has a warm and inviting sitting room, and a bright and airy breakfast room looking out on a lovely garden. While we didn’t choose the breakfast, fresh coffee was awaiting us in the breakfast room when we got up. Would definitely recommend a stay here if you are making an outing to any of the fine restaurants in the area.

Our family occupied 3 of the suite, each was beautifully appointed and very cozy! Each room had spacious closets and great size bathrooms with amenities. Upstairs views were of the mountains and downstairs of lovely gardens. Prior to our stay the innkeepers asked our beverage of choice to which we were treated in our rooms upon arrival. When you eat breakfast the next morning, you have a delightful view. The Blue Room was spacious with a king sized very comfortable bed. A wonderful stay!!

Walking distance from everything in town, including “The Inn.” We loved sitting in the lovely back yard among the very old boxwoods, enjoying the wine waiting for us in our room. Gay Street Inn is about 3 blocks to the Inn at Little Washington making it the perfect location for our quick weekend. The granola was very tasty, and Drew provided an alternate breakfast since I don't like eggs. The bacon was delicious, the tomatoes were out of sight, the potatoes were crispy... great breakfast. - Kate (10/5): - Wonderful location, super clean, beautifully decorated and the owners are very gracious and care to ensure your stay is great. The breakfast was delicious. Would definitely stay here again.
- Robert (10/5): fantastic inn - The Gay Street Inn and its proprietors are super. We were visiting with family most of the time we were in the area but I would have liked to spend more time at the inn!
