From Shirley’s warm welcome at reception to the incredible pool bar staff and the wonderful breakfast and restaurant staff. We were on our way to Bali and stayed for 2 nights. Wish we’d stayed longer. Stunning hotel with high-end rooms (go for sea-view suite). Immaculate grounds and one of the best infinity pools we’ve experienced overlooking Bali and the Bali straights.

We were very happy because the hotel upgraded our room to a beautiful sea view room with the best view. The atmosphere was peaceful, relaxing, and perfect for our special trip. All of the staff were very friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. Their hospitality truly made our experience even more memorable. We also ordered food through room service and everything was delicious, especially the nasi goreng, it was the best! The breakfast menu was also very varied with many good options to choose from. Thank you for making our holiday so special. We would definitely love to come back again!

The room was very clean, with modern design. I love the full length body mirror, the room has a lemongrass scent. The breakfast was varied. The location was on the main road, it easy to locate. The best thing was the sunrise experience! they dont give banyuwangi a title of the sunrise of java for nothing yknow.

The view was amazing, the staff were incredibly kind and helpful, and it’s very suitable for families with kids. Honestly, everything about Dialoog amazed me. The view is absolutely beautiful, the hotel is super clean and comfortable, and the mix of traditional and modern design is just perfect. The breakfast was also really good with plenty of options. What impressed me the most was the hospitality from the staff, they were incredibly warm and thoughtful. My husband and I even got a few birthday surprises during our stay, which was such a lovely touch, especially since I only mentioned his birthday in a simple email beforehand. It was truly a wonderful experience staying at Dialoog, and we would definitely love to come back someday!

The service—and every single person who is part of the hotel staff—is incredibly kind and professional. They were very polite with us and attentive at all times, from room service to the food and the excursion. We are quite demanding when it comes to food and always ask for modifications. In this restaurant, they followed our instructions to the letter, which is something that doesn’t happen in many places, not even in high-end establishments. We did the Barefoot Experience, which is absolutely recommendable. Every detail is carefully thought out—it’s a picnic they organize in the mountains, and all I can say is that it’s wonderful. I’m going to miss being there very much, and I hope to return soon!
- giuseppecannavoo (10/5): Exceptional place, a 10/10. - Spent a few days at Dialoog Banyuwangi and it really left me an incredible impression. I came back in the city with very low expectations, left with a big smile after such a stay! The service was genuinely exceptional. Everyone, from the chef to the room service team, was not only kind but incredibly attentive and well prepared. You can really feel that level of care and understanding of hospitality, naturally warm and thoughtful. Waking up early here is absolutely worth it. The sunrise from the pool is something special and probably the best in Banyuwangi if not in whole Java. The design of the property is also beautiful, very elegant but still relaxed, with lush palm-filled spaces, modern architecture that blend with the tropical scenery. I have also tried their signature barefoot experience at Kawah Wurung, a hidden gem very worth to try that I highly recommend to every guest who come to visit. A big thanks to the whole staff for the extra care, to Mr. Aji for the nice chats and a big one to Miss Rachel for making my stay truly memorable with her calm and carefully approach. A stat that feels both easy and refined at the same time. Would come back anytime! 10/10

- Idriss (10/5): - L'hôtel Dialoog est un véritable havre de paix. Le personnel est d'une bienveillance rare ; j'ai été malade durant mon séjour et ils ont tout fait pour que je ne manque de rien. La vue est tout simplement incroyable, tant depuis la chambre que depuis le restaurant, où la cuisine est d'ailleurs excellente. L'endroit est très calme et les activités proposées sont top. Echt een fantastisch team. Dankjewel mas Rizki, pak Aji voor een geweldig verblijf en de mooie herinneringen. De eerste nacht was in een kamer waar het geluid van de moskee erg aanwezig was.

Kregen voor 1 van de 2 kamers die we hadden geboekt een gratis upgrade (zoals de andere kamer). Ligging aan het water en uitzicht op Bali. Geweldige zonsopgang! Geneuzel over cappuccino’s die niet bij het uitgebreide ontbijt zouden horen. Voor een hotel van deze klasse moet een cappuccino meer of minder geen issue zijn. Banjuwanji zelf is niet zo veel te beleven, of eigenlijk niets.
- Nikki (6/5): Lovely location although we wouldn’t have wanted to stay longer than 1-2 nights. - The location was beautiful and the lobby had a great feeling and was very impressive. The room was very small, and most of the room was the bathroom (i.e., the entire room was tiled and set up like a studio apartment where there was no division between the toilet, shower, bed and vanity). We also had to specially request a fridge, but there were none available. Also, our window had a sea view but we were not able to leave the curtains open as other rooms could see directly into ours.
- KumboLasmono (10/5): Best beachfront hotel in Banyuwangi - The location is strategic, easy to reach from the city center. the view is excellent, the pool is excellent, the restaurant very eye-pleasing. we recommend the spa, which is comfortable with professional therapists. All staff are very friendly and attentive. The suite room has an amazing beach view and a big balcony which allows lots of sunlight and vitamin sea. it's also very clean. if you pick the higher floor, the noise from the crowd below won't disturb you. However, since the whole hotel and its surroundings are very pretty, do note that when you come during high season, there will be lots of people (and I mean a lot) taking photos and videos at the pool, restaurant, and courtyard, especially in the morning and from 4 pm to 6 pm. The hotel also has a small patch of beach with dark sand not far from the pool.

Sign turn left di depan lobby turun mobil to small and no lamp at night jadi saat naik grab drivernya akan langsung belok kanan bukan memutari. And When I just arrived, our driver immediately turned right, and the security guard didn't help us carry our suitcases because they were annoyed with our driver who made the wrong turn. 2. And pelayan yang kurang cepat saat melayani tamu especially at breakfast time. 3. I hope you can buy more kipas angin for outdoor area near garden karena banyak lalat sehingga menggangu makan. 4. Your menu for breakfast very varied but the tastes to bland.

- Verónica (10/5): Beautiful Gem! - Everything in this hotel is well thought out. The attention from the beginning cannot be compared to any other hotels we’ve stayed during our month long trip in Indonesia. The staff is very kind and accommodating. We tried the batik workshop and felt deeply grateful for the kindness the experts extended to us sharing their traditions. The massages were also worth booking. We had a very pleasant stay. The food was also delicious! We were worried it wasn’t going to be given the city and that it’s still not touristy yet we were greatly surprised! Thank you so much !! It may not be about the hotel per se but perhaps culturally, it is common that the service staff in the restaurant when you order out of the menu are not proactive in always looking if a table is calling them for assistance. This is, of course, a personal preference. We would only suggest perhaps reinforcing the pro activity to look out for any raised hands. In addition to this, we thought we could access the beach but it’s in poor condition, with garbage and plastics around. We understand it may be the condition of it in the city.

Room was clean, yet the bath room I think need some space for clothes hanger. Ocean deluxe room that we booked was in to the sunrise, it was superb moment that we have. The value was equal to the service, the spa service as well. We had the best hot stone massage here, and it was incredible moment after hiking to Ijen and got spa massage.

All the staff were so friendly and happy to help us with everything we needed. My wife and I arrived early, and the Dialoog staff immediately greeted us and gave us a welcome drink. Then, I left our bags so we could continue our trip while waiting for check-in time. When we got back to Dialoog, I checked in and got a special treat: an upgrade from an Ocean Deluxe room to an Ocean Suites room! This was an unexpected gift for us since we were on our honeymoon. We even got a congratulatory cake at breakfast. We had such a memorable night watching a movie by the beach under the moonlight and stars. Room also quite spacey for both of us, we extremely love so much the scenery from our balcony face to the Bali strait and Bali island. Cleanliness is best we bare foot during inside our room. Breakfast menu is wonderful good and varies.

The AC works incredibly well, they even help the environment by not providing plastics and do something tech with the automatic AC. The foods & beverages are very tasty as well, from breakfast to supper, they never fail to amaze us! They have activities for the guests the whole week so you won’t get bored, and don’t ask more about the view, the sunrise is wonderful even at 04.30 AM, you’ll get amazing views from your room! The room was very well-equipped, but personally I think it would be better if they provided smart TV and bidet shower. All the staffs were very friendly and helpful—special thanks to Ms. Cing Cing, Rosita, and Shagina from Casabanyu Restaurant who granted my wish to give birthday surprise for my mom. The breakfast menu and other meals that I ordered while enjoying sunset at the restaurant, all suit my taste. It was a great staying experience and definitely will come back.

We got a free upgrade to the highest room category :-) the room was amazing and had a cozy balcony with a chillout bed and chair. Breakfast was a huge variety of Asian and Western options with fresh coffee, tea and fruit juices. we had an amazing massage in the spa area. and we were able to shift it from the morning to the evening, quite spontaneously. Got spot to travel to Bali afterwards by the Ferry as the Terminal is just a couple of minutes away.

They also upgraded us to a suite room as a kind gesture to celebrate our romantic time together, which is really sweet of them! We went to their massage service and it was terrific. The restaurant was definitely a chef kiss! We took the romantic dinner package and they really went all out with the service and food. We went on two trips organised by the hotel, the ijen crater trek with our tour guide Soleil and the Tabuhan island boat trip with our guides Lucky and Aris. Both trips were absolutely incredible and the guides were so friendly, informative and attentive. The attention to detail on both trips from the hotel and for entire stay was amazing. Our room was so beautiful and spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The food island drinks in the restaurant were delicious with a great choice and the breakfast was excellent. It was the perfect place to celebrate our honeymoon. Thank you to each and everyone one of the people at the Dialoog hotel for making our stay so memorable 🥰

- Susilawati (9/5): Fantastico! - I stayed in Dialoog more than 5 times, I always chose this hotel everytime I visit Banyuwangi or Ijen for work or personal trip. The location is fantastic. You overlook the mountain which to me, looks like a giant painting. Staffs are super friendly especially the restaurant staffs. Lots of coconut trees under which I lie down and enjoy the sun reading book or just a sip of drinks or just coconut water. The swimming pool? Its the best. Overlooking ocean and the mountain. Constant sound of waves is just soothing and soporific. Absolutely love this hotel and will keep coming back

- Y8322QP_ (2/5): “Disappointing Hotel Experience in Indonesia” - At 9:40 PM, we got a call saying there were items on the balcony that might blow away, but we hadn’t even been to the balcony. This caused us to be extremely exhausted for the Mount Ijen trip the next day. Also, when the meal was about to end, the waiter asked if we wanted drinks. We said it’s fine, just water, but they brought us mineral water costing 50,000 IDR per bottle. We only wanted one bottle and asked to return the other, but the waiter said it couldn’t be canceled, which was really shocking. In summary, I don’t recommend this hotel. It will only make your Indonesia trip more miserable. Additionally, the Islamic music was played very loudly, which can be very disturbing and make it hard to sleep if you’re not a follower.

A warm welcome (the fresh drink made of lemongrass & honey really hits the spot), comfortable ambiance, and superb hospitality from all staff. Mas Miko and Mba Maria from the front office were very attentive, delivering analgesic cream to our room when they learned I’ve sprained my leg while climbing Ijen the midnight before. We also had a brief chat with Mas Hendra from the farm, he told us how Dialoog Banyuwangi manages waste food, supplies their kitchen and restaurant from their own garden. Overall, it was a perfect staycation to wrap our 4 days trip in Banyuwangi, and we’ll be happy to come back

Nice swimming pool and comfy sitting areas in the greens. The atmosphere is breezy and cool. The beach unfortunately cannot be used, delimited by a huge rocky barrier. No swimming possible in the sea in front of the hotel. The breakfast is nothing special. Room style is quite basic.
