• Evelien (10/5): - We hebben een prachtig verblijf gehad, alles was volledig naar wens. De kamer was heerlijk, het ontbijt uitstekend en alles was perfect schoon. We zijn hartelijk ontvangen door het personeel en bovendien mochten we onze motoren veilig in hun garage parkeren. Zeker een aanrader! N.V.T.

• Paul (9/5): Hier komen we zeker nog een keer terug, ook omdat de omgeving heerlijk is om te wandelen. - Ontvangst was bijzonder vriendelijk, ook voor onze hond Sky. Onze kamer was prima in orde en schoon, groter dan verwacht. Onze hond mocht gewoon mee naar het restaurant & het ontbijtbuffet was ook erg goed verzorgd. Uitstekende koffie! Alles was op orde, niets te klagen.

• Jim (10/5): Heimat tour - This is a great village/town hotel with an attached bar and restaurant. It's recently refurbished and very clean and well organised. The staff were great and very helpful. Breakfast was excellent. The bar is a really good place to wind down with very good food and beer and wine. It's obviously the village pub with lots of friendly local people using it.
• Microby (10/5): Außergewöhnlicher Aufenthalt, eine absolute Empfehlung - Sehr schöne Zimmer, das Einzelzimmer für unseren Sohn, hätte auch als kleines Doppelzimmer durchgehen können. Unser Doppelzimmer war mega. Sehr groß, top Ausstattung. Das Boxspringbett höhenverstellbar. Sehr großes Bad. Es war alles sehr sauber, wir durften sogar den Weinkühlschrank auf dem Flur missbrauchen. Das Personal war wirklich sehr nett. Selbst beim Frühstück, was sehr gut, große Auswahl und wirklich gut war, wurde für mich, der nicht frühstückt, als Alternative unser Schwiegersohn zugelassen, den wir hier besucht hatten. Für alles nochmals herzlichen Dank. Wirklich außergewöhnlich. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

• Jens (7/5): Schönes Hotel in Mosel Nähe - Sehr schönes Interieur, das Hotel macht einen gepflegten, modernen Eindruck. Das Zimmer und Bad sind ebenfalls schön gestaltet. Beim Frühstück gibt es eine große Auswahl, frisches Rührei auf Bestellung und eine Kellnerin, die Spaß an Ihrer Aufgabe hat. Bei Ankunft war alles verschlossen, obwohl die Checkin Zeit über Booking bestätigt wurde. Überall Licht an aber niemand, der die Türe öffnet. Erst beim dritten Anruf ging jemand ans Telefon und kurz darauf konnte ich einchecken. Ich hatte schon nach Alternativen gesucht und wollte es ein letztes Mal probieren, ansonsten hätte ich ein anderes Hotel buchen müssen. Das ist sehr ärgerlich und sollte so nicht vorkommen, vor allem nicht in einem 4 Sterne Haus.

• Melanie (8/5): - Sehr nette Hotel-Chefin, das Zimmer auf der ersten Etage war wunderschön, geschlafen haben wir alle gut und auch das Frühstücksbuffet war ansprechend. ein Zimmer von den Dreien, die wir gebucht haben, auf der 1. Etage war hochmodern und wunderschön. Die Zimmer auf der 2. Etage waren allerdings nicht genauso schön und in einem war das Bad noch ein ganz altes. Wir waren nicht glücklich darüber, dass die Zimmer aber alle dasselbe gekostet haben, was ich auch zum Ausdruck gebracht habe. Daraufhin hat uns die Hotelschefin am Abend aber eine Flasche sehr guten Wein spendiert, was wir sehr entgegenkommend fanden. Geschlafen haben wir aber alle gut.

• Matthias (10/5): - Der Check-in verlief komplett unkompliziert - der Zimmerschlüssel war hinterlegt, so dass wir auch bei recht später Ankunft in unser Zimmer kommen konnten. Das Zimmer war super eingerichtet, mit vielen außergewöhnlichen Akzenten, einem großen bequemen Doppelbett und einem sehr schönen Badezimmer. Auch das Frühstück war super, sehr reichhaltig und besonders liebevoll zubereitet. Einen herzlichen Dank auch an das sehr nette und zuvorkommende Personal - wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder.

On avait choisi cet hôtel car il y avait un resto juste à côté. Sur le site, il était écrit qu’il était fermé le mercredi. À savoir que le lundi il est également fermé comme la plus part des restaurants à Morbach
• Myriam (6/5): Enttäuscht - Nettes kleines Hotel mit vielfältigem Frühstück und nettes Personal. Das Badezimmer in meinem Zimmer stammt noch aus den 80igern. Ich habe extra etwas mehr bezahlt um mir etwas zu "gönnen". Die Bilder auf Booking zeigen ausschließlich moderne Badezimmer. Dann hätte ich auch günstiger buchen können.

Perfect - Hochwald Lodge is always our first stop when entering Europe and our final stay before heading home—and for good reason. The warm welcome we receive every time makes it feel like a home away from home. The breakfast alone is worth the visit—truly exceptional. Nestled in the peaceful town of Morbach, the lodge is surrounded by some of the friendliest and most helpful locals we've met. As motorcyclists, we usually stay just one night in each location, but Hochwald Lodge has become a permanent fixture in our travel plans. The secure motorcycle parking is an added bonus. nothing a must-stop on every trip—offering a warm welcome, exceptional breakfast, and secure motorcycle parking

• Jim (8/5): Very comfortable! - The hotel is beautifully renovated and from welcome to departure the staff is super friendly and attentive. We were there with a group of 4 motorcyclists - we were allowed to put our bikes in the small garage under the hotel. The rooms we were in had great mattresses, king sized. The rooms were large and feature great bathrooms with powerful rain showers. Breakfast buffet was delicious, a la minute prepared scrambled eggs, fresh fruit, broad selection of cold cuts, cheeses and fish, juices… everything was there. We will be back Since I am a coffee drinker - the only thing I could as for would be an actual coffee machine in the room instead of powdered coffee. For the rest everything was just perfect.

• Damian (10/5): Excellent! - The stay was very successful. The hotel is in the centre of Morbach and has parking right outside the door. The room was very clean and bed very comfortable. The breakfast was also very excellent! There was a huge amount of choice. The idea of making your own waffles was great! The hosts were very helpful and very friendly! Highly recommended! A small minus was that there were no tea and coffee facilities in the room. But that is only a very minor minus point of the very successful stay.

• Pirita (10/5): Amazing value for the money - Beautiful, quiet and clean rooms, I think we were even upgraded to a bigger suite/room. Breakfast was also really good and we had a great dinner at the Bistro. Everything was great! The only thing we were missing was a lift to get a pram upstairs easily, but we were told that’s already in the works!
